One Year Without Charlie Kirk, RNC Midterm Convention Highlights & The Woke Right Gets TORCHED

And there's seven billion things that we could have used. I mean, like I don't know. We've got a three hour show. We could have done a group. Right. Easily we could have done like a full week show, you know what I mean? But trying to sort of cram in like a best of is next to impossible because everything,

2:06every clip, every appearance that he had on every campus was amazing. You know what I mean? Right. So it was impossible to choose. And so probably like people are going to be like, I can't believe this is the clip that you decide, I don't listen. I just grabbed what I saw that had an impact and that showed Charlie doing what Charlie does best. Okay. And so I'm sure that there are a zillion others. There are. You're going to see them all day long. But I saw this one where it, you know, it was so typical of Charlie where he would go to a college campus. Some detractor would come up to the microphone and he was always willing to talk to anybody anytime, any place about anything. Unless it was Mick Flontess, which he drew the line out, which I completely understand. Yeah. But there's a girl in this very quick clip who is convinced that we are a white supremacist nation. And the way that he disarmed people was what was so just. He's very endearing.

3:07He's very endearing. Right. Yeah. And he did it so kindly. I mean, that was the thing about him too is that he was so kind. And he just knew how to disarm people, which is exactly what he does in this very short clip. Don't you believe that white privilege exists? I just want to get your understanding first and then we could go from there. Well, let's just, is there anything that you can't do that I can do? No, we could do the same things if we put our minds to it. Good. Then there's no white privilege. You did it. You did it. It's as easy as that, right? It's really is. It's not. It's just so amazing to me that people are like he was so racist and hateful. Like, that's the last thing that he was. Yeah. You know, just told the truth and he did it in a very kind, just a warm way. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And even when someone, like even someone like a Bill Marr was making fun of him to his face about his faith, because obviously Bill Marr does not have faith at all.

4:09Totally. Yes. And so he was mocking Charlie's faith to his face back when Charlie was on his like pot smoking podcast. I never remember the name of that. Right. But anyway, the way that Charlie even reacted in the middle of being insulted and mocked was also just nothing but kindness. Look at this. He is risen. He is risen indeed, Bill. Why do we say that in the present tense? Because it is a, it is a constant truth in our life. He is risen. I always noticed that that was interesting to me. That's a really important question, actually. It is. Tell me. Well, because the fact that he is risen transcends time. It's not just in the present sense. It's that of all time that promise is accessible to all of us. And so it's a proclamation to all people because if you said he was risen, eh. It's like it's just merely a historical event. It almost underplays the metaphysics of it. I'm just always fascinated the way really, really fine intellectual minds employed themselves

5:19for the purpose of arguing things that are so inarguable. It's almost fascinating. It's almost, it does because it's almost like a challenge. Like, I'm so smart that I can make this thing, which is so stupid. It seems like a real, I'm not. No, no, it's fun. You get where I'm coming from. I'm going to take something that is so anti-intellectual, even though I can argue like an entire... However, but you have to acknowledge even the greatest minds of history have been mesmerized by the scriptures Isaac Newton, Thomas Aquinas. Well, Isaac Newton wrote more about biblical prophecy than even physics. And so there's something about the scriptures that are intellectual that does push your limits. And that's what I think is so beautiful about our faith as it can be accessible to everyone but also infinitely nourishing and exploration. Gosh, I just loved him. I just... One of one, man. I know. I know. I hate that there's never going to be anybody like him ever.

6:19Yeah. That's just... Yeah. A year. Holy cow. I know. So, no one can forget that moment that you could argue Charlie worked his entire life towards, which was the moment that Trump was called in the election. And who can forget his reaction, right? Box News decides Donald Trump is present in the United States. We've got our Republic back, folks. Let's go. There it is. Everybody should remember this moment. Look, I'm going to echo Charlie from earlier. Remember where you were when this happened. Remember where you were when you realized that the uniparty and all of these, you know, just the establishment, you said it's time to actually participate and look what you guys have done. And if anyone deserves to get tears in his eyes, it's Charlie.

7:22I think we all agree. I think Erica is just one of the millions of something in the break room. No one is worth harder than Charlie. We got to hear some words here from you, Charlie. You put all this together, my man. I am just humbled like I. It's all got. It's all got got alone. Got alone. This isn't as casual. Pennsylvania. It's beginning. Yeah. What moment I know. Oh, my God. And then in that, in the year since, you know, you've had people that are trying to make it about them, you know, because you just hear him say it's all God. Doesn't make it about himself. And then all these shackles are out there making his murder, his assassination about them. How much money can I make off of this? How can I grift off of this? I'm going to call him a friend. I mean, they're doing, they've done that.

8:24It is, it is absolutely disgusting. It's so gross. That's more Charlie. In fact, the White House account, the official White House account yesterday released its own tribute to Charlie Kirk, which we will show in a second. I don't want to spend a lot of time doing that stuff. But I can put this on for like 10, 15 minutes while I'm getting ready working, sitting on the couch, watching a movie, and I'm done. So the White House official social media account posted this interview to Charlie yesterday. I'm so inspired. This army of freedom fighters. We're going to be around for next 100, 200 years because we know in the end our ideas will win. We have crowds gathering for an emotional scene in Arizona to honor and pay their final respects to turning point USA founder, Charlie Kirk. The memorial drawing, one of the largest public turnouts ever for a private citizen. I have to say this without getting emotional, but I'm very proud of my husband. More than anything Charlie wanted to do, not his will, but God's will. There was no keeping score between us. We were a team. We were going together for the same mission. Charlie's life was a turning point for this country was a miracle.

11:28Let that miracle. So this Charlie's life be your turning point as well. God should be the most important thing in your life. But then beyond that, it's getting married having children, building families, leaving a legacy, doing big and great things. I love you so much. I love you. Here my best friend. The people. Only in America. The people who hate that and who are celebrating and somehow mocking them, it's because they never had that. They're just jealous. The possible ladies of the world who could somehow say that Erica Kirk is hateful. They look at she looks at that and she's like, I'll never have what they had. And so she's just so jealous of it. So many of these people are. And like the assassin, that piece of crap who took his life and the people who are celebrating today, because there are people, I'm sure we're going to, you know, just, I don't know, we may be discussing that a little bit, but I don't have any of that.

12:30Okay. Good. Well, the people that are doing that, because there are people out there on social media who are like weirdly celebrating it. Those are the people who think, oh, well, he was going to be silenced by this. He's not. He's absolutely not. Like if you look at the numbers of turning point, which is they've experienced massive growth over the past year. We've talked about this before, like high school chapters have increased 180%. College have increased by 64% and then their leadership conference, like they had 25 attendees at that this past year. They've raised so much money. People are interested. I mean, it wasn't just like the first couple weeks, which we, obviously we saw that. After he was assassinated, but it is extended. It's people are interested, kids are interested and they are, they're growing. They're growing. So when people say turning point is gone, like Charlie's gone, they're wrong. They're just simply wrong.

13:30His legacy is going to live on and it will live on for decades. And what's sad about them saying that is that they're saying it wishfully thinking. Right. And that is so disgusting. I mean, these are people that claim to call themselves Charlie's friend. While they're wishing for his organization to completely fall apart. Yeah, we're saying. And even worse, they criticize the organization for continuing to make money, which is its entire purpose is to raise money to elect Republicans, conservatives. That's what turning point has always been about. And to promote Christianity in places like high schools and colleges, which is great. You're right. Jean, they can't kill God's will. You're right. And that's the thing. They're wrong. They're just wrong. Yeah, I can't understand that thinking like I can't even. Raging turning point, making a lot of money after Charlie's death, which is exactly the point to maintain his legacy, to carry it forward. That's everything that those, that the remaining people at TPSA are trying to do, which is

14:34exactly what Charlie would have wanted. Totally. I don't, it's crazy to me. I think I may have stopped that video accidentally in the middle of it because here is more. And I think this still comes from the White House account or maybe this is a separate thing that I saw, which is another tribute and I'm attributing it wrong to the White House. In any case, it's a lovely little tribute. Check it out. Only in America is it possible to say, you know what? I don't like the way the country is going and to do something about it. If that risk, take that leap of faith, stay involved, trust God and act obediently. Romans 12 to verse, that God will use all things, all things for good for those who love him. It's bigger than you. I want you to remember it is bigger than you. It's bigger than me. You are here to make somebody else's life better than the pursuit of liberty and freedom. You know what gives me strength? The hundreds of thousands of you that say Charlie keep going.

15:37He's a great Indian five and 15. So that's all pretty amazing evidence. Not just interbiblical evidence, but extrabiblical evidence that Jesus Christ was a real person. He lived a perfect life. He was crucified, died and rose on the third day and he is Lord and God of law. Isn't that so lovely? Just the best. Yeah, I think I'm just accidentally stopped that in the middle. Nick Freitas was on Benny's show and they were talking about their memories of Charlie. And I loved what Nick said. I've cut this short because obviously I just can't play an entire show of theirs. But I loved what he said when Benny specifically asked him, you know, what are you thinking about in terms of Charlie right now? And this was a little bit of what Nick said. So a couple of things. Everybody was like, where's the next Charlie Kirk?

16:37And I remember I was speaking I think at an MFES. And I said, Charlie would have told you all to point a whole lot higher. Charlie Kirk wasn't trying to create more Charlie Kirk's. Charlie Kirk wanted people to see that God had an individualized plan for each and every one of us. Right. It's so true. It's a lovely sentiment. It is a lovely sentiment. And he's right. He's 100% correct. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Back in the day, I don't remember how soon after Charlie's death, this video emerged. I know we played it on the show. And I remember when we started playing it, people were freaking out. They were super mad at this guy who's in the video because they didn't know where the video was going. They didn't know where the message was going. And I came upon this again, and I was like, you know what, this is worth playing, especially in light of the fact that there are so many awful monstrous people out there who continue to celebrate. We all know about the Kirk's aversary that people are disgustingly celebrating.

17:40But this was a guy who used to be one of those people and changed. And I think he was more impacted by Charlie and Charlie's death than a whole lot of people were. And it's just as powerful to watch this today as it was back when it first came out. It is from a creator, I guess by the name of Shabuki Sunshine, is what he goes by. But this was, this was wow. I'm actually glad that Charlie Kirk was murdered, but probably not for the reason you think. I was at work when I first found out a fellow employee had wandered up to me cell phone in hand and asked, did you hear that Charlie Kirk just got assassinated and I, without even a moment's hesitation, responded, good. Fuck that Nazi white supremacist piece of shit. I had never before witnessed such a perfectly blended expression of disgust, disappointment, sadness and surprise, all through the window when other man's eyes or experience the silence so uncomfortable as the one that followed. And although that look on his face now haunts me more and more with each passing day at the time, it only made me distrustful and upset.

18:40But little did I know, but the sentence which followed would end up becoming the most profoundly psychologically impactful question that I've ever been confronted with. Have you ever actually watched any of his debates? I decided to end the conversation immediately. This man was clearly a lost cause. One of those intellectually dishonest, cool, age drinking types who refuses to engage in good faith with any perspective which contradicts their outstandingly narrow and propagandized worldview. And by this man, I mean me. Because I hadn't actually watched any of his debates. I was basing literally every single thing I believe about a human being, with thousands of hours worth of publicly available recordings of himself openly expressing his opinions on a small handful of out of context clips that had been curated for me by algorithms and media organizations being funded by the political opposition. I found at the mouth right along with the rest of those rabbit and bloodthirsty dogs, gleefully mocking those who had been saddened by his death and downplaying the atrocity of it all by suggesting that political violence is just an unfortunate yet necessary step toward our coveted socialist revolution. That is, until I began to notice a common thread.

19:42The exact same comment being repeated ad nauseam in nearly every single online space. Have you ever actually watched any of his debates? I didn't think much of it at first. Of course, right wingers are all regurgitating the exact same talking point. They're an occult. They're brainwashed. It was an ordinary and boring morning. On the day I found out that I am a monster. In that moment where my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to click on some random YouTube thumbnail of Charlie Kirk with his goofy and gummy smile and an attempt to reaffirm my preconceived biases. And it was an unusually stressful afternoon on that very same day when I spoke to my father for the first time in years, despite the fact that he had always loved and supported me unconditionally. And it was a never ending sleepless night coming to terms with the fact that literally every single thing I thought I hated about the right, the bigotry, stupidity, violence, vitriol, and narrow-mindedness was actually just an outward projection of hatred toward my own self. Charlie Kirk is my hero.

20:43He opened my eyes to the cruel and manipulative nature of our political media, brought my family back together, and taught me how to love again. And to anyone who takes the issue or offence with that, I'm going to do exactly what he would have done and challenge you to answer a simple, honest, and straightforward question. Have you ever actually watched any of his debates? Man, I wish there were be more people having that same epiphany. Or they're probably are, but they don't have the guts to say it out loud. Yeah, so that's probably right. I mean, that was, wow, like what a testimonial, right? Yeah. Amazing. Okay, before we, because Trump did a tribute last night at the RNC midterm convention to Charlie, Erica was there, and he called her out by name, and there was a lot of applause, and we're going to show you that. But also, if this is inspiring to you in any way, think about getting involved in politics.

21:48Now more than ever, we need people speaking out. And that is what Charlie was trying to do, right? He was trying to bring people into engagement and understanding. And if you need help with that, there's an organization that can help you. It's concerned women. Yeah, concerned with Memphis America. Great organization. We love them so much. And I know what side of the aisle he was on for women sports, and that it should not be controversial. Female athletes have fought for the opportunity to compete on a fair and level playing field. And today we're being challenged again. My daughter's being challenged again. Your daughters are being challenged again. It's ridiculous, you guys. Biological differences matter. This is not controversial. I don't get it. But apparently it is now to whack jobs. And female athletes deserve a fair playing field in the opportunity to compete against other biological females, not dudes. And it's not just about one athlete or one team or one lady, it's about every single girl that competes in sports.

22:50I cannot believe we're still having this conversation, but we are. And I love the athletes, like Sophie Cunningham, or speaking out and asking organizations like the WNBA to recognize what a woman is and the importance of protecting women's sports. So we need to think about like the young girls that are coming up behind today's athletes and what opportunities are going to be available for them. That's what we try to do. So last night was the RNC midterm convention and Trump spoke about Charlie at that convention and here is what he said. Exactly one year ago tomorrow, a far left extremist assassinated my great friend and conservative voice Charlie Kirk because Charlie Kirk spoke the truth. What shocked millions of American was not only the fact that Charlie was murdered as bad as it was but also how many people made an excuse for it or cheer for it. They were cheering. Some people sick people. We will not let them win and in Charlie's honor, I just want to say we love you Charlie

24:58and Eric is here someplace. Erica, where's Eric? Left there. Thank you very much and thank you, Erica. And I think Erica is going to be here tomorrow too. She's put up with something, boy, boy, what she's had to go through and the most beautiful family and just terrible. She's she look gorgeous too. I know to always the family. People criticize her just makes me rage.

26:04Like it just makes me rage like almost nothing else makes me rage. It's pure jealousy, Mark. That's what it is. Honestly, a year later, I look at that and I'm just like these. It's all the women that will never have what they had. That's what it is. And they're like, I hate her. Why? She's weird. She has weird eyes. I mean, the things that they say about her are so stupid because she loved her husband and he adored her. It's like, sorry, you will never have that. That sucks for you. Anyways, I Wall Street apes on X did a post about him. And I don't know, I don't think he probably don't have this, but they he two days before Charlie was murdered. He said, Islam is the sword. The left is using to slit the throat of America. He totally knew what was up. So I just wanted to bring that up because he said that the spiritual battle is coming to the west and the enemies are wokeism or Marxism combining with Islamism to go after what we call the American way of life. That was two days before he was murdered. I'm just putting that out there. He knew

27:10it was up and then he was he was silenced, but we are not. That's right. That's right. And and people need to have courage about speaking up about this. Totally. This can't be one of those things where you're like, I hate Islam, but I'm not going to say it out loud. Right. And I hope I hope the RNC midterm, the first convention of its kind for the midterms that I hope that they are talking about that because it's a problem. That's what's happening. It's literally a cancer that's spreading all throughout our country and people are so afraid to talk about it, but we're not afraid to talk about it. So not even a little bit. Right. We're actually going to have a tribute that in one of the interns for Radio America put together with about Charlie. We're going to have that later in the show, but I also wanted to show this quote from Charlie from 2013, where he said, good men must die, but death can't kill their names or their legacy or that's exactly right. That's exactly right. He's going to be remembered forever. I mean, one of one. So we'll have

28:17another tribute from him about him later in the show, but right now we're going to get to some convention stuff. And before the convention, actually as Trump was boarding Air Force 1 to go to the convention, he he talked to reporters on the tarmac and was asked about when the Iran conflict is going to end. And here is what he said. I think the war is going to end immediately after the election. I think the war will end immediately after the election, because they can't hold out any longer. They're desperate to try and affect the election so that we can get a nice week group of people in there and leave them alone and let them have their nuclear weapon. All they want is a nuclear weapon. And if they had a nuclear weapon, the whole world is in deep trouble. Yeah, the problem with that is that a lot of people, you know, they're the kitchen table voters where if they're not feeling it before the election, then they're going to vote accordingly.

29:20You know what I mean? Right. That's the problem. There are people like me who are like, okay, well, I can trust you on that and and think that, okay, everything's going to end after the election and then gas prices will come down and whatever. I see the big picture. I get it. I see you. I see you. I get it. But there are a lot of people that are not like me and they're like, yeah, but the gas prices and this and you can promise it, but I don't see it. And so I know I totally feel all of that. I guess the positive to take away is that he is, this is really a principle for him. He knows that that is the risk. He knows that that is the worry. And he still won't budge because he's doing the right thing. Right. And so he could be like Mr. politics, man, and figure out a way to extract ourselves from the Middle East right now in order to save Republicans and the midterms, but he's not going to do that because that's not the right thing to do. Right. And I appreciate that. And like I said, and that is, I think an exclamation point to my point because I know I know he's doing the right things, but there are people out there who

30:24don't give a crap about that. They just want lower prices. They want they don't care. They just are they're thinking about themselves and their families. And I kind of get that to you. I do totally, you know, because it's like he's not paying my bills. So I what are you going to do for me? So you have those people too. And I worry about that with the midterms. I really do because the midterms, oh god, you guys, I'm dreading the midterms. No, let's be positive. I will always be positive. But it's like, you know, expect the best prepare for the worst. Yeah. Just midterms freak me out, you know, every single time, especially when you're the party that's in charge. And everything is such a slim margin as it is already. We've seen it happen before. We've, I mean, I have read this book and seen this movie. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. I know. Make sure that you vote. Got a vote. Everybody. I know we that's like beating a dead horse, but we can't say it enough. We can't say it enough. And we can't tell people enough to rally everyone around

31:30you to do the same. Especially those that are complaining. The folks that are complaining about prices, the folks that are worried about. Total issues. Remind them what can happen if we allow Democrats to open the borders again. And how much worse everything will get. Oh my god. People from this alone. I know they forget. I totally agree. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So, all right. So you heard him talk about the timing of the end of the war now on to the convention itself. So it's, I think they started opening the doors late afternoon if I'm not mistaken. And so naturally, that's when a bunch of idiot people like Harry Sisson were taking crowd shots and saying, look at how empty it is before it had even begun. But the arena did fill up very, very nicely. And one of the earlier speakers of the evening was a man who is going to be president someday. There is no question about it. It was Brandon Gill who came out to do a land acknowledgement.

32:35It was my favorite. Now, I think it's only appropriate that we kicked this convention off properly with a land acknowledgement. I love it. So handsome. He is adorable. I'd like to acknowledge that we stand here today. And the state of Texas and the United States of America. The ancestral homeland of great American patriots, pioneers, and explorers who put down roots fought for freedom all over the globe and blood and died to build the greatest civilization ever known to man. That's right. That's right. That is right. My friends, we live in the finest country in the history of the world. And we're no longer going to apologize for that. Wouldn't that be nice? This election is very clear. It's the mainstream versus the extreme.

33:42Because there's another political movement in our country right now that doesn't believe that America is or ever was great. They sometimes call themselves socialists. Some even call themselves communists. But most of them simply go by Democrats. That's right. And they can love him and they can GTFO. They don't have to stay here. It's free country at least for now. Yeah. That was amazing. His whole speech was amazing. It was. It should go back and listen to the whole thing if you didn't get to hear it in real time. But without a doubt, that guy is going to be president. You can look at him the same way that you looked at Charlie Kirk and just know that that was the future. He really will. If he's not, it's going to be a huge shame. It'll be because we were taken over by his Lama counties. And we can't be because we allowed Democrats to win. So once again.

34:44You got a vote. Got a vote. Also, I guess they didn't check their notes before speaking. They didn't check in with each other. But Adam Corolla also spoke and also did a land acknowledgement. Here's a little bit of his. All right. I'd like to start tonight with a land acknowledgement. This is the greatest land in the history of mankind. And if that bothers you, you, your communist and hippie buddies should get the hell off it. Yes. Right. GTFO. But bye. I love that. Also, you know what else I love. So we're going to Atlanta to celebrate my husband's dad's birthday. He's turning 80. Yes. Turning 80 today as a matter of fact.

35:45And so we're going to be celebrating. And I am going to get to prepare our, because we have a neighbor staying with us to take care of the dogs staying at the house. Of course, you can. The election is going to take place in November, first Tuesday in November. And it's important because you are choosing people who will ultimately select an appoint Supreme Court justices. They're going to keep the border closed. And most importantly, they're going to

39:56allow Trump's agenda to continue. If Democrats take over the House and Senate, and for some reason, Trump doesn't get impeached, which he likely will, if they take over those two bodies of Congress, if he's not impeached, there's nothing, no one is going to vote to allow him to put in place the agenda that he's trying to put in place. So it could not be more important. I just cannot stress it hard enough. To your point, I think that they, it's not even that they want to allow that stuff to happen. They're going to spend all their time trying to impeach them. What a waste of freaking time. We've seen it. We again, we've seen this movie before. Can we not, can we not do that? We really just want to get shit done. So vote accordingly, get out and do it. It is exponentially more important than you think it is. So, you know, local and state stuff is so important. So he is a mixed bag. It's just I appreciate that he's kind to his colleagues. It's very interesting. We have to point that out now, because I feel like we're in the 80s and 90s. I think politicians were capable of that stuff. They were capable they were able to cross party lines and just be normal freaking human beings. Yeah. And now we're like, look how great that is that he's a normal freaking human being. He's like, that is so sad. It's sad that we got to call that out and be like, look, he's nice. Okay. Yeah. And he may not be the best looking guy I've ever seen. But you know what he is? He's the greatest attorney general in America. And he deserves to be your next senator. He ain't wrong. Trump has announced a new plan. He's saying if the House win, if Republicans win the House and Republicans win the Senate, there will be a reward, essentially. But what we're doing is because we've done so well and because our country is making so much money that only I can make this promise to you. And here is my promise. If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate.

56:50Tremendous economic success. Like in history, we've never had anything like what's happening. But because of our tremendous strength and success economically, I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000. That's where he lost me. I like it. I just, I, and if he's trying to appeal to loafos, I think that that is condescending. And we're not into condescension either on our side. There wasn't a lot, there were a lot of fill in the blanks. I think that would have probably lasted about 40 minutes. Right. But the best line I really think the best line was

You mentioned the Trump dividend. I raised my eyebrows $5,000 for each adult American citizen. If you do the math, six seven carry the knot, 245 million citizens. That's $1.25 trillion. Senator Cruz has it at 1.3. Okay. Absolutely not. 1.3 trillion dollars. Can we not put that towards the debt? Maybe, which is like 40 trillion dollars or just I don't know, find other places to use that. I don't. I just, I know people out there are like, I can use 5,000. We could all use 5,000 dollars. But there are other ways to get to that 5,000 that are not socialist ways to do it. Yes. Just what are we doing? So somebody said it was an hour 45. Yeah. Which holy cow.

And the one person that we would have hoped from the get go who would have called her out appropriately would have been Megan Kelly who did everything but she the way that Megan has disappointed us this year cannot be overstated. That is correct. It cannot. And yet there are decent people, Victor David Hansen for one who continue to go on her show. They tried to say the things kindly, gently. It doesn't seem to have an impact. And then now, just ahead of this important anniversary of Charlie's assassination, it's like she's trying all of a sudden to make up for this past year of not just even just ignoring Candace, but making excuses for her and saying that she's right to question things, which is just discussing. So yesterday she had on Frank Turek who has just written a book that Erica has written

1:11:47the forward of. And he talked a lot about Erica, what a godly woman she is. And Megan has the absolute audacity to say that she wishes Erica were not the CEO of turning point. And it's because people have been mean to her. This makes no sense at all what you're about to hear. People have been mean to who to me. People have been mean to Erica because she's the CEO. So Megan feels like she shouldn't be CEO because then the meanness would stop. Okay. That's how whack her thinking is. All right. So that's so what she's saying is people are mean to Megan. So she should step down from her podcast. If she's if that if that logic is like if it even has like if it holds water, it's the dumbest logic ever. Yeah. It's people who retort whatever you're in the public guy. People are going to be mean to you. Megan should know this of all people. Okay. If that's the case, then don't have a podcast anymore, Megan, because people are mean to you. I'm assuming.

1:12:49Right. Well, she she just want she actually says she wants Erica to step down because she wants to protect Erica. Oh my god. That makes me matter than almost anything else. Anyway, here is the clip. Because she has never lashed out. She's always been full of grace and truth. She's always been concerned about her family and concerned about the Lord and concerned about keeping TPUSA on Charlie's legacy track that he had it on. She hasn't been distracted and I think she really has the Holy Spirit. She is directed by God and she's yielded to that. But she's taken so much abuse, Frank. And yeah, from Candace. You know, part of it, I mean, I think a large part of it is people are frustrated. She's not Charlie. You know, there's a there's like a string of outside of whatever we've got the conspiracy theories and all that. I really have no time for them. I think it's just capable. Yeah, where do they come from Megan?

1:13:53There's been like a little cottage industry that's popped up of detractors of Erica's. Yes. My own take on it is there's a frustration. She's not Charlie. And the fact that it's Erica, who's this beautiful, you know, faith-based woman who, you know, people have strong opinions about she's got strong thought. She's obviously political, which also makes her a target. Has just brought out this visceral reaction in some. And in my own reaction to it has been two fold. Number one, I desperately want Erica to not be the CEO of turning point just because I just want to savor from this. It's not that she hasn't done a great job. But I just want to say, like if I feel like if she would just stop that a lot of this would go away. And I would like to see her spared it. And you can't stop people on the internet from saying what they're going to say. But my second thought on it, Frank, is that my god, every attack that's launched on her, she becomes a greater superhero because she she doesn't bow to it. You know, she she's kept going. Just with her head held high, mothering her children, trying to run the organization,

1:14:54doing what she can at the public events they have. And with every step forward, she develops another superhero muscle because she hasn't fallen in the face of these attacks. She's shown a very high ability to withstand bullying. Yes. Yeah. She has. And right. I don't I don't it's not exactly what she signed up for. You know, she wanted to marry Charlie. She loved Charlie. She wanted to be a mom. She wanted to be a good wife. She was both of those things. And she was thrust in the national spotlight, not by her own desire. You know, that's the thing. People treat her like she was some sort of fame seeker. She wasn't she pulled this happened to her. Oh my god. And she's been managing it as best as she can with the support of a lot of people who love her. In spite of you, Megan. In spite of you. The two points. So interesting. She wants her to step down. But yet she says she's gotten stronger with each attack. So which is it? What is it? Which one do you want? Because I I personally think she the

1:15:59reason that she's gotten stronger and stronger is because she already is strong. She's got God on her side. Other people don't to ask her to step down or to pretend that you give a crap about her. Like you're somehow protective when you haven't protected her against these people who you know have a factor for the past year. Literally, Candace is like she is the person holding like the big I don't know the lantern of ugly for the past year. Well, she is a young mom. I so can you even with this? I can't. I cannot. I'm so mad about it. It's like you know, you don't get to play hero now, Megan and say that you want to protect her. You had the opportunity protector like 80 good Gillian times this year and you haven't done it. So maybe take all the seats. I don't mind going tweeted about this saying if she actually cared about what's happening to Erica, she'd have defended her. Oh no, where did that go? There it is. Hang on. It's there. Hang on. There it is. She would have defended her and condemned the wicked people enriching themselves

1:17:01by slandering and harassing her, but she didn't just fail to do that. She said she was totally fine with the conspiratorial garbage. She can't say no passes none and she made excuses for them. Like what you said, but she's a young mother. You know who's a young mother? Erica? Yeah, I can these people are gross. So gross. So infuriating. But we are not going to give that any more oxygen because now it's time to turn to something good. And that is this amazing tribute for Charlie that Colleen the intern put together from our shows and from our discussions about Charlie and with Andrew Colvette, for example, there's a lot of stuff kind of piece together in here, which is really, really nice. Take a look. I want to be remembered. I want to be remembered for courage for my faith. I'm in his studio right now doing this interview with you and I'm looking at his chair right here. I'm looking at the little toys from his daughter that she would give him before

1:18:04he went on air and he would hold them up when she was watching the show. So she knew that he remembered the toys and brought them with them. He was a dad and a husband and a peaceful debater. That's it. If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable. But if the most important thing is doing good, you will end up purposeful. So I went to the funeral. About halfway through, I just leaned over to him and I said, are you feeling this? And he looked at me and he said, God, and I said, yes. And he said, I've never felt anything like it. The power of God was there and look at what happened that week. And for about a month, yep, the entire world was waking up and turning to God. I think Charlie Kirk was chosen. And I think he was chosen to do what he did. And he he touched so many people and you know, God doesn't make mistakes. It's on the right Charlie Kirk here. 1:19:04You know, it was a joy and at the honor of a lifetime to be able to watch him grow like that. He worked with young people. That was his focus as he was on these college campuses. And he was a beacon for this younger generation. Of course, we loved him, right? But these younger kids, they looked to him as a beacon of, okay, I can be courageous. I can say this stuff out loud. And so many of these young kids are afraid to do that. You're like, what actually matters? What matters is your relationship with the divine, your relationship with your family or kids, and maybe a close collection of friends and your relationship with the truth. When they had kids, it just took it to the next level. And Charlie used to always say they're my wife, you know, that this is why I do it. Just like you said, remember the good things, remember the mission, remember what he taught us, what he taught the world. You know what's really going to matter 30 years from now? What's going to matter is whether or not you have the love of your life and you have decided to raise children. Yeah, so nice. Right. I got emotional again. Last man, it was just,

1:20:05yeah, last year, it was awful. And then having to go every year, I feel like I'm going to watch these every year. It's like 9-11, you know, totally going through it every single year. Yeah, you think you're emotional today? We'll just wait for tomorrow because that's what we're going to be talking about tomorrow. Right. This is just a really emotional week. Right. And some people forget and I don't understand those people. I don't get it. I just because I'm never. I think then exers are especially impact. Gen Xers and older are especially impacted because that was when we saw 24-hour news coverage really kick off and start. Right. Right. We were glued to our televisions in a way that we had never been before. Right. And all we could see was death and sadness and right. Just utter disbelief at how much our country changed in that day, on that day. And it's just people who were not, people who were younger and much younger or not even alive yet, just do not

1:21:05and will not ever have the same kind of appreciation as the wrong way. But like, no, I know it's been. You know what I mean? Like the sense of it, the way that we, right. I think that I think people nowadays are just so desensitized to everything. But it's just, it's like a, because it is a 24-hour news cycle and because everything does change so quickly and because we have these computers in our hands and everybody is just like constantly, I got to flip, I got to flip, I got to scroll, I got to scroll. This is what they do. We didn't do that back then. We sat with it and we absorbed it. I mean, this, and I still, like I did that with Charlie Kirk. I sat, I remember sitting with it for that week and just mourning a guy that I never knew. You know, and I still, I still do that. It's like, it's not even just a guy. It's an idea. It's like a whole, it's a movement. And I know it's not true. I know that movement has gotten momentum, but man, we lost, we just lost such a great human being, you know? One of one. Right.
