That means you don't watch Drag Race.
Luxe nor London was on a few seasons ago
on the American Drag Race.
Luxe was a standout, of course.
And Luxe has a great voice.
And Luxe is out recording and putting out music.
And this is the brand new track.
And as I said, it was called Cherry Red Mustang.
Now speaking of Drag Race, there is no shortage.
We are into, let's try to count it down.
I've been watching a lot of Drag Race lately
and just trying to get caught up.
So we have the American one still happening.
Still out there.
We're getting close to the finale.
We're not there yet, though.
We have UK versus the world, currently also happening.
And they have announced Canada's first All Stars.
So that's exciting.
And I have spoken with our friend Zara Matrix,
drag queen extraordinaire here in Eastern Canada
in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
And we hopefully, once we know the dates
of the actual Canada's All Star Drag Race,
we're going to be doing a little weekly catch up
of the show and kind of doing an overview
of what happens in each episode.
That is the plan anyway.
And I think it's a pretty good plan.
But one of the things that you can check out too
is the Out Loud podcast.
And I recently sat down with Craig Pike,
who is the founder of Craig's Cookies here in Canada.
And if you don't know what Craig's Cookies are,
you need to look to see if there's one near you.
Dilish, dilish, dilish.
I will say, there's gluten free, there's vegan,
there's regular, but they're all good.
And as somebody who's celiac, I can attest to the fact
that you can't stop with one.
That's all I will say.
But we sat down and we were chatting
in one of the things I asked him was about.
The fact that Canada's Drag Race All Stars
would be coming, would we be seeing, you know,
maybe some drag inspired cookies
to which he said he could not confirm anything,
but perhaps so.
So you can check that episode out right now
wherever it is that you listen to podcasts,
search for Out Loud Queer Creatives Podcast.
All right, let's get into your first set of music, shall we?
We've had a fantastic song off the top
and now we're going to get into four more
that are going to get you moving and grooving
ready for a whole lot more that's coming this episode.
So here we go.
In this first set of music, we are going to check out
some brand new soul.
We're going to check out the title track,
Wrong Side of Midnight from the brand new album,
Wrong Side of Midnight.
And I really dig saw as a hip hop artist,
as a rapper, as an R&B artist, all around so strong.
So you're going to love this.
We're also going to take a swing through Toronto
and check out some new Fox Revit
who just had a show in Toronto.
I was supposed to be there,
but because of what is happening
provincially here in Nova Scotia with our budget,
I had to cut my mini vacation off and stay put.
So I missed the show,
but I will be making a trip to Toronto soon
to check out other shows.
We also are going to check out in this set,
brand new Moirin Claire
and they are collaborating with Noah Malcolm
on a new track called Two Word Answers,
Moirin Claire from Halifax right here at home
and Noah Malcolm from PEI.
So it is an Atlantic Canadian collaboration.
We're here for it, we're living for it, we're loving it.
But we're going to start things off
with somebody else who I just recently had on
the Outlawed podcast.
My good friend, my buddy, one of my faves
from Los Angeles, glass battles.
He said in the podcast he was gearing up
for brand new music, lots of new music coming this year
and this is the second single from his new music
and we are going to listen to Devil Dance.
And if you're out there and you have anything to do
with the Netflix show Wednesday,
I feel like you have found your new song for Wednesday
for a dance scene of some sort in this song, Devil Dance.
All right, so Saul, Fox Revit, Moirin Claire
with Noah Malcolm and Glass Battles,
all right here for you on Outlawed.
Don't go anywhere.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
A subtle outtrick, a little space back,
Yeah, I got to my eyesight right into the sun
You never love me
You let the rest see
Come on and test me, test me, test me
See if I'm not good enough or
cigarettes and cans are livin'
Well, it always hurts a little
Y'all stuck in the middle
Make it feel good
No, see ya
I'm without a pile of salt cans
Alone, move your body
Tell me something good
To know, to know, to know
Make it feel good
I'm not good enough or
I'm not good enough or
cigarettes and cans are livin'
Well, it always hurts a little
Y'all stuck in the middle
Make it feel good
I'm not good enough or
cigarettes and cans are livin'
Well, it always hurts a little
Y'all stuck in the middle
See if I'm not good enough or
cigarettes and cans are livin'
Well, it always hurts a little
Y'all stuck in the middle
Make it feel good
No, see ya
I'm without a pile of salt cans
Alone, move your body
Tell me something good
To know, to know, to know
Make it feel good
Turn around
Grab somebody tight
It's how you're on
The ground
Move your body
Tell me, can you feel
The salt, the salt, the salt
Make it feel good
Ooh, yeah
Ooh, yeah
Ooh, yeah
Ooh, yeah
Ooh, yeah
No, see ya
I'm without a pile of salt cans
Alone, move your body
Tell me something good
To know, to know, to know
Make it feel good
Turn around
Grab somebody tight
It's how you're on
The ground
Move your body
Tell me, can you feel
The salt, the salt, the salt
Make it feel good
So if you could have one more
You could have one more
Yeah
You could have one
I don't know what to do with your hands
When you're talking to me
You're talking to me
And I'm checking myself
And your shades
You're so cool
So cool
I don't know what to say
When you ask how I'm feeling
Do you want the easy answer or the real one?
I wanna give you the real one
I wanna tell you that I feel like a shit
And I wanna tell you that I'm over it
But you keep getting a two-word answer
Two-word answers
Two-word answers
Dut dut dut dut dut dut dut dut dut dut
Why does it take like an archie side
What the hell are you wearing
No you'll be there at the party
He's so cool around me
He's so cool
Run, run really finally me
I freeze when you ask how I'm feeling
Do you want the easy answer?
Now the real one
Baby, you could be the real one
I wanna tell you that I feel like shit
And I wanna tell you that I'm over it
But you keep getting the two word answers
Two word answers, two word answers
And I wanna tell you that my dream's back too
And I wanna tell you that I'm into you
But you keep getting the two word answers
Two word answers, two word answers
I got something to say to you
I can't care if you want me to
I got something to say
But it's more than two, more than two
I got something to say
But it's more than two, more than two
I can't care if you want me to
I can't care if you want me to
I got something to say
But it's more than two, more than two
I wanna tell you that I feel like shit
And I wanna tell you that I'm over it
But you keep getting the two word answers
Two word answers, two word answers
And I wanna tell you that I feel like shit
Then when you want to see it from me and you
But you keep getting the two word answers
Two word answers, two word answers
Oh, I got something to say
But it's more than two, more than two
I got something to say
but I'll tell you that I'm over it
But you keep getting the two word answers
You keep getting two word answers, two word answers, two word answers
I tried to say goodbye, a thousand ways, a thousand songs, forgive a thousand
days, a thousand hours, and I just hold an eye
I spent most of this year, a thousand tears, a thousand fears to wash myself all clear
A thousand lights, a thousand lines, just to find that I still hold an eye
We don't talk to each other like we're people no more
We just dropped all our happiness and stained all the floors
I know we could fix a baby, but I know I need my space
I just don't feel safe enough to keep holding on
Am I just hold an eye?
I see your face around, and strangers faces in the crowd
I catch my breath somehow, but even with our distance now, I make my sorrowful vow
No holding on
But we don't talk to each other like we're people no more
We just dropped all our happiness and stained all the floors
I know we could fix a baby, but I know I need my space
I just don't feel safe enough to keep holding on
Am I just hold an eye?
We don't talk to each other like we're people no more
We just dropped all our happiness and stained all the floors
I know we could fix a baby, but I know I need my space
I just don't feel safe enough to keep holding on
Am I just hold an eye?
This used to be my favorite time of the morning
You used to call me every night until the morning
Stayed up for hours, now I'm locked here
Because I didn't want to miss the time you were calling
Staying until the day's just too far the night
I guess I've built a phone and he's my outside night
I never know, and that I played a fool
Let go, let go, watch your heart beats next to mine
And you hold on, you hold on, and you never told me why
Stop side of midnight, boy love be after dark
Stop side of midnight, boy love be after dark
Stop side of midnight, boy love be after dark
Stop side of midnight, boy love be after dark
I guess that's what I get and I know I let you go
But every night I still forget, I still forget
Let go, let go, watch your heart beats next to mine
And you hold on, you hold on, and you never told me why
Stop side of midnight, boy love be after dark
Stop side of midnight, boy love be after dark
I guess that's what I get and I know I let you go
But every night I still forget, I still forget
Let go, let go, watch your heart beats next to mine
And you hold on, you hold on, and you never told me why
Stop side of midnight, boy love be after dark
Stop side of midnight, boy love be after dark
I guess that's what I get and I know I let you go
But every night I still forget, I still forget
Let go, let go, watch your heart beats next to mine
And you hold on, you hold on, and you never told me why
Stop side of midnight, boy love be after dark
Stop side of midnight, boy love be after dark
I guess that's what I get and I know I let you go
But every night I still forget, I still forget
Let go, let go, watch your heart beats next to mine
And you hold on, you hold on, and you never told me why

Welcome back to Out Loud Everyone. We have still so much for you in store in
terms of music, this show, so buckle up because we're going to get into it. But
beforehand, I do want to remind you I mentioned in the first set that there's the
Out Loud podcast. Please go and check it out wherever it is that you listen to
podcasts, search for Out Loud Queer Creatives podcast. Lots of guests happening
over there. I've already mentioned Craig Pike and Glass Battles. I've got
Brooklyn Dorn, Karen Connolly. Lots of singer-songwriters, some entrepreneurs,
some writers. We are getting into all of the creatives that are out there and we
want to support them and make people aware of them. And please go check out the
artists that we talk to and check out in your own areas wherever it is that you
find out who the queer creatives are and support them. You know, we can't wait for
others to uplift our community. We have to do it together and it really is a team,
effort, folks. We're all in this together. So check them out. And if there's artists out there
that you think I should know about, please let me know. Slip into the DMs. Always open.
At the queue reviews, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, let me know who I should be
listening to if you think that I'm missing out on somebody or if you think
somebody would make a really great guest. Let me know about it. I try my best to
accommodate whoever I can. I am one person. I do this all on my own and radio
shows and podcasts. Plus I do have an actual regular job. But I try to make as
much room as possible to be able to support folks. If I can't get to them right away,
I will get to them eventually and I will make some kind of magic happen. Or at least I will
dang well try. All right, that is my public service announcement for the show, I guess.
So we're going to get you some more new music because that's what you're here for, right? Not
for my yammering. Well, maybe some of you are entertained by it. And if you are, bless you,
all right. Let's get some more music on the go. Next set coming up, we've got four more in a row
and it is featuring from South Africa, the wildly talented Armageu Bear with his latest
called mine and Armonsings in Afrikaans quite a bit. And this mine song is spelled M-Y-N-E. So if
you're going to search for it and you really like it, M-Y-N-E by Armonsu Bear. We're also going to
zip over to the UK and check out the brand new release from Young Eden Hunter. She's got a new
song out and it's called The Circus Man. And she's somebody who I think people need to pay
way more attention to because she's got lots going on and she's pretty stellar. So Eden Hunter is
The Circus Man in this set. We are also going to check out the latest from Fox L. Fox L is an
American trans artist and Fox L's latest song is called Complicated. Another one people need to be
paying attention to. But we're going to start things off right here at home again with the brand new
song from singer, songwriter, producer, musician, the incredible Atlanta Maddie, new song The Process.
The star just keeps rising higher and higher and higher and that can't say enough about the
quality of songwriting that Atlanta puts into her music. It's just sublime. So here we go,
Armonsu Bear, Eden Hunter, Fox L and Atlanta Maddie. Right here all for you, I'm out loud.
We're running out of time.
Too busy trying to read between your lines and it's too late to go black and change my
way. Was I holding to tight because I thought you gave me worth and I'm tired of trying
and I'm tired of hurting myself in process.
I think about reaching out. I don't know if you would listen or just words in my mouth.
I kept all your secrets. I held all your pain in my heart. You have everything.
And I'm tired of trying and I'm tired of hurting myself in process.
Maybe one day you'll call and I will answer, we'll both cry and say we wish it ended faster.
We could lie about that night in Toronto when we kissed in the basement by the storm.
When we thought we had the answers to it, when we thought we had the answers to it.
We could lie about that night in Toronto when we kissed in the basement by the storm.
I don't want to let it let you down.
I don't want to run away from something good. I don't want to get it, get you down.
I don't want to be the blame is understood for heaven's got a closed door.
Some things I just know more knowing it goes on and on and on and on and on.
Hear me, oh just believe me, it's too risky but you got me thinking about you lately.
Why do I think love is complicated? Maybe I should try because all the time was worth the waiting.
Wait up, I got my mind made up, I got my mind turned up, you got my mind thinking all about you lately.
I don't need, I don't need another one, rinse, repeat, repeat, just another one.
I don't need, I don't need another love, I don't need, I don't need another love.
I will never be alone here. I'm not on my own here. I have found my home near here, here, here.
Hear me, oh just believe me, it's too risky but you got me thinking about you lately.
Why do I think love is complicated? Maybe I should try because all the time was worth the waiting.
Wait up, I got my mind made up, I got my mind turned up, you got my mind thinking all about you lately.
Why do I think love is complicated? Maybe I should try because all the time was worth the waiting.
Wait up, I got my mind made up, I got my mind turned up, you got my mind thinking all about you lately.
She's got a hair red in you, she puts a mini stutter, you call it so original.
She's got a dream and you want it, put down a hundred dollars to bet on how you swing the table.
It's a horse in love and dead, I even hit the river and I'm in the glass behind the mirror.
No saving her, no saving me dreams, if all stood at the top of the truck, you'd be thinking and catch me right.
I want to tell them if you dare to come back the road.
Roll up, roll up the circuit, then it's back in time.
He's got this famous act, but he built you up just to cut you down.
He should but he can't fit, he's set up in high, in a certain time the fight is about to end and fly.
Roll up, roll up the circuit, then it's back in time.
Roll up, roll up the circuit, then it's back in time.
He took his shop to go to the dummy, he knew that it wasn't deadly.
He took your key, go parade.
Your staff had made me believe in everything I was feeling before you left the masquerade.
That's a horse in love and dead, I try to do it again.
I'll give you something to remember, cos I'm saving her, I'm saving me.
But by the way, everyone knows, if they see you, they should say.
Roll up, roll up the circuit, then it's back in time.
He's got this famous act, but he built you up just to cut you down.
He should but he can't fit, he's set up tonight, in a certain time the fight is about to end and fly.
Roll up, roll up the circuit, then it's back in time.
He's back with the shirt, isn't over.
I pull myself up, I'm gonna climb it all tonight, tonight's set,
I try to reach her, then she'll see right here.
I'm gonna take her, then it's a deal.
I can see her now.
Roll up, roll up the circuit, then it's back in time.
I've got this famous act, and he's heard I'm all the talking about.
Roll up, roll up the circuit, then it's back in time.
Roll up, roll up the circuit, then it's back in time.
Roll up, roll up the circuit, then it's back in time.
I'm gonna take her, then it's back in time.
I'm gonna take her, then it's back in time.
I see her now, tonight's set, I can't get in the way.
She's got this famous act, but she can't fit, she's set up tonight.
I'm gonna take her, then it's back in time.
I'm gonna take her, then it's back in time.
I'm gonna take her, then it's back in time.
I'm gonna take her, then it's back in time.
I'm gonna take her, then it's back in time.

Micah Amani with the new song I Know A Drama
Micah is an indie folk artist from Miami, Florida
From Toronto and various other places because she likes travel
Alina Felice is back with a brand new song called These Days
And we've known Alina for quite a number of years now and it's always a joy to have new music from her
But we're going to kickstart things with a little rock magic from Wendy Moore from Zandvort in the Netherlands
She's got a new song and it's called Crocodile Tears
Roll around and all of that musical goodness and join me back here because I got a fantastic song to end the show on
So don't go anywhere
I feel like I'm a classic in my studies show where I'd be thrown
Find a million body systems that are so empty-done
I really like to play the victim's queen and I'm so far afro that I want to be inconsistent and transparent like a god
Hey, I'm not a gear, I don't belong here
Hey, do me a waist so I can cry my crooked eyes, crooked eyes
A fool of my looks, destruction's got my reason
So made up like a magic in my destruction where we take it like a drug
Got my body to my functional and might be twisted up, but show you where we can start just push my head just like a bird
Hey, I'm not a gear, I don't belong here
Hey, do me a waist so I can cry my crooked eyes, crooked eyes
Broken eyes, crooked eyes, I'm not a gear
Hickly myself in an ace, become a ace
So I can cry my crooked eyes, crooked eyes
I really like to play the victim's queen and I'm so far afro that I want to be inconsistent and transparent like a god
Hey, I'm not a gear, I don't belong here
Hey, do me a waist so I can cry my crooked eyes
Broken eyes, I'm not a gear, I don't belong here
Hickly myself in an ace, become a ace
So I can cry my crooked eyes, crooked eyes, crooked eyes
When you are even start, nobody makes me feel like I have a fight for a heart
Nobody knows what it's like to have you close and how it hurts when you're far
Lying here on my own can't think of anything but how I can get you alone
Won't just wanna hold you and die
Hit the miles between us and let me sing you guess
Oh, but I know that one of these days
One of these days
If you don't feel okay right now, you're always gonna be okay
Yeah, we'll have all the time we ever need someday
One of these days
One of these days
Driving with you at night, I hold your hand a whole time
Clean skies and lonely headlights and the smile cause you know
Every damn word to every song that played
Nothing feels like being on my way to see
Nothing hurts like leaving you the way I have to
Hold it in my heart that I'll be seeing you soon
Cause it's the only way believe it
One of these days
One of these days
If you don't feel okay right now, you're always gonna be okay
Yeah, we'll have all the time we ever need someday
One of these days
One of these days
Can't sleep without you, no I'm too busy dreaming
Can't breathe without wishing it was your air I'm breathing
Keep each other believing even when it gets hard
One of these days
One of these days
If you don't feel okay right now, you're always gonna be okay
Yeah, we'll have all the time we ever need someday
One of these days
One of these days
Just the other day I was able to do all this awesome
It might be that it's the morning two, I don't know
It's two, it's kind of the night
For you right though, actually
Sometimes I'll just wake up, come to the gym
If I feel it, I'll just be super in time
Right now I'm feeling it
But I know that by Saturday
I'll be fine as you can
Yeah
I'll hold a body if they need to
Serenade off the cliff
I bet my bones that I could beat them too
They can and we both would see through
You asked me where I'd be five years
From now five years ago
Said I'd be the reaper or somebody's testful
Turns out you were listening
You'd never gone too close
Do you still listen to the same songs that you did back then
And do you keep in time for yourself even with me
You're feeling jealous of the others in the past
I don't think about the song after that
I spent the day pretending all my friends were in the rain
Driving on the freeway, going night at the end of the sunset
The problem is late at night
And no one could call me back
I guess it might have been a bit over dramatic
But sometimes loneliness can do that tonight
Is true I've never been through something quite that tragic
But the reason for my sadness
Is so hard to find
And I'm quite I'm playing one more show tonight
Because I'm used to safe the rhythm that's enclosed behind

Alright friends we've come to the end of another show
And I want to thank you for tuning in and tuning in each and every week
And thank you to the artist for continuing to make such great music
I said I had a fantastic song to end the show on and I do
And it comes all the way from Melbourne, Australia
And our good friends Midnight Pool Party
They are back with yet another fantastic release
And this time it's called Notice Me
Oh we notice you, we notice you alright
We're playing and we notice
For now I've been your host Kenny Fitz
Look after one another, love one another
Take care of each other and be safe out there
And we'll see you again next time right here on Out Loud
Here's a little Midnight Pool Party to wet your whistle
When you ask if I'm okay I change the subject
Late night talking
Bench at someone's name in a panic
But I don't wanna show I'm breaking down inside
I don't wanna give it away
I just wanna hear you say
Say that you want me
Say that you need me to
You think about me oh I wish that it was you
Say that you want me
Say that you need me to
You think about me oh
What I gotta do
Take care to notice me
Take care to notice me
What I gotta say
Take care to notice me
Take care to notice me
Question
When you're around me do you feel the tension
Don't you feel the way we are connecting
Am I just laying into my own fan to see
Late night talking
I step upon my feelings in a panic
But I don't wanna show I'm skipping me
Inside
I don't wanna give it away
I just wanna hear you say
Say that you want me
Say that you need me to
You think about me oh I wish that it was you
Say that you want me
Say that you need me to
You think about me oh
What I gotta do
Take care to notice me
Take care to notice me
What I gotta say
Take care to notice me
Take care to notice me
I show you love
But they don't
Tell me cause I wanna know
You don't even know how much I feel for you
What I gotta do
Take care to notice me
Take care to notice me
What I gotta do
What I gotta say
Take care to notice me
I want you to notice me
I show you love
But they don't
Tell me cause I wanna know
You don't even know how much I feel for you
What I gotta say
Take care to notice me
What I gotta do
What I gotta say
