Panthers Sign AJ Dillon to Boost Running Game

The Carolina Panthers are set to sign free agent running back AJ Dillon to a one-year deal.

NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reports the team has agreed to terms with a 27-year-old veteran.

Dillon joins after a short stint with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He appeared in seven games there this spring, gaining 60 yards on 12 carries.

Here in his career, Dillon spent four seasons with the Green Bay Packers.

Selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft out of Boston College, he rushed for

2,428 yards.

And 16 touchdowns on 597 carries across 60 games.

A neck injury sideline him for the entire 2024 season.

Now healthy, he's bringing that experience to Carolina's backfield.
