Here's more NFL news from March 18th.
The Carolina Panthers are trading quarterback Andy Dalton to the Philadelphia Eagles for
a seventh round draft pick in 2027.
That pick should fall around the 250th spot overall, since the Eagles tend to finish strong.
It is not a big asset, but it gives Carolina something in return.
Dalton wraps up three years with the Panthers after throwing for 1,643 yards and 10 touchdowns
in seven starts.
The team went just 1 in 6 in those games.
Now the Panthers have only two quarterbacks left on the roster, Bryce Young and Kenny
Pickett.
That duo lacks real depth, leaving fans worried about the position.
Team officials plan to add at least one more quarterback before training camp, likely
through a late round draft choice or a young free agent signing.
Soon.
