The Irish Patients Association is imploring protestors to reconsider the manner of their demonstrations amid several reports of Clare service users missing appointments due to ongoing road blockages.
The IPA has released a statement saying that while the grievances that have brought farmers, hauliers and contractors onto the streets are understood, patients and citizens cannot be the collateral damage of this dispute.
The group will be publish its March Activity Report later today, outlining the risks to patients and citizens when supply chains and access routes are disrupted.
