Patrick Johnson on the Australian sprinters coming for his record

Gout Gout and Lachie Kennedy were the headline acts at the 2026 Australian Athletics Championships and they didn’t disappoint. Gout broke his own 200m national record and became the first Australian to run the distance in under 20-seconds, meanwhile Kennedy is stalking Patrick Johnson’s 100m national record. How does Johnson feel about being chased down? We ask him.
