Patriots Eyeing Kyle Van Noy for Pass Rush Boost

The New England Patriots reached the Super Bowl last season, even though their pass rush

was below average most of the year.

They managed just 35 sacks during the regular season, but turned it on in the playoffs.

Now heading into the offseason, the team still needs help in that area after losing Kaleb

on Sheson.

They signed Draman Jones to step in for Sheson, but that might not be enough.

The Patriots could target a pass rusher in the draft, or look at free agents to boost

the group right away.

One name floating around is Kyle Van Noy, a veteran who's won two Super Bowls with New

England.

He knows the system well, and has worn a Patriot jersey multiple times during his career.

Starting with a tray from the Detroit Lions back in 2016.

Van Noy put up a career high 12.5 sacks in 2024, earning a pro bow nod, but he only had

two last season with the Baltimore.

He also has 57 career sacks, including 21.5 from his time in New England.

At this stage, he would not break the bank and could provide leadership plus solid depth.

It is worth watching if the Patriots bring him back to shore up the pass rush before training

camp.
