With the NFL today, March 18th, trade rumors point to the New England Patriots as the top team
to land Philadelphia Eagles-wide receiver AJ Brown in a deal. The Los Angeles Rams were once in
the mix, but have backed away completely. According to reports from Pro Football Talk,
the Rams got cold feet after reviewing early medical info on Brown, seeing too much risk for a player.
Nearing 29 with plenty of wear and tear, Brown has dealt with knee problems for years,
including needing his knee drain twice a week during the Eagle Super Bowl push last season,
which raises big questions for any team chasing him. The Eagles won a first round and second round
pick and return, and insiders like Adam Schefter say any trade would likely wait until after June
first, when their cap hit drops. This story is made possible by our sponsor. See the episode description.
