Patriots Sign CB Kindle Vildor

The New England Patriots are bolstering their secondary with a new signing.

They've agreed to a one-year deal with free agent quarterback Kendall Vildor, who most

recently played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The news comes from his agents and ESPN reporter Mike Rice.

Vildor wrapped up last season with the Buccaneers, where he appeared in 12 games.

He tallied 16 tackles, three passes defended, and his second career interception during that

time.

Earlier in his career, Vildor spent his first three seasons with the Chicago Bears after

they selected him in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL.

He posted career best with 46 tackles in 2021, and five passes defended in 2022.

In 2023, the Tennessee Titans claimed him off-wavers under then-head coach Mike Rabel.

He only played two games there before moving on to the Detroit Lions.

This edition comes as the Patriots look to deepen their defensive backfield.

Vildor, a Georgia Southern alum, brings solid experience across multiple teams to the mix.
