The New England Patriots made a couple of Jersey number updates this week, Titan CJ. Dipper switches to number 81, and newcomer long snapper Niko Lollos takes number 62. The 81 jersey opened up after veteran Titan Austin Hooper signed with Atlanta Falcons in free agency. Dipper wore that same number throughout his college career at the University of Alabama. These changes highlight the team's push for fresh talent. At tight end, they need youth behind Hunter Henry, so Dipper has a real shot at earning playing time. Lollos brings competition to the special team spot, held by Julian Ashby. Lollos joined the Patriots on Monday following a solid workout with the team.
