And really let me say, let me say.
Hold me now.

Maybe six feet is so far down.
Hold me now.
I'm sick safe from the edge and I'm thinking.
Maybe six feet is so far down.
I'm so far down.
Thanks to WIP Afternoon Show.
With Ike Spike and Fritz opening day tomorrow,
you can of course hear the game here on WIP
and stream it live on the free Odyssey app.
The Afternoon Show will be on with Joe and Hugh
starting at one tomorrow.
So because our show will be done
what, around 3.30 or something like that.
And because the games are 4.15,
so we are joining the midday show early,
so you can get a couple of more in an hour more of us,
which is of course what you want.
So, and if you are down there at the stadium,
make sure you stop over and say,
hi, our broadcast booth.
Right?
What section is that behind?
1.26, there we go.
2.15, 5.92, 94.94, Gary and Vineland,
you're on WIP.
What's up, Gary?
I got a great idea, Spike.
Let's send the camera that I ran,
because he could be anything.
That is a good point.
Maybe catch a challenge ahead.
Show versus I ran.
Yeah.
I got so tied up like pissed off this morning,
because he was saying, no, I'm not going to challenge.
Like he has to challenge me.
I'm the winner.
So I called him up and I was like, I'll challenge you
in one-on-one to camera.
And he's like, what are you going to do?
I'm like, well, they're running with D up.
He's like, how do you know I'm not going to blow right by you?
I'm like, because you're not senior on.
You're not going to blow by anybody.
Yeah, he didn't blow by Jack.
Yeah.
And you brought up Rob Appeal yesterday?
Yes.
Rob Appeal saw sunglasses to bam.
Yes, Rob Appeal, great pitch, man.
Wow, just a bam shot.
I don't know where.
Ollie, Molly.
Yeah.
Too, too soon.
Yeah, too soon.
Too much.
All right, I'll stop.
It's all right, it's all right.
I'm sure he's fine with it.
Yep.
My daughter is going to the game tonight.
Is it B playing or?
We don't know yet.
We'll get into that in a moment.
He was moved up to questionable yesterday.
Yeah, so maybe he'll play.
Paul George will play.
We'll get to PG in a second.
Do you have a bold prediction for the Philly season, Gary?
I got breakout, boom.
20 home runs, 100 RBI.
Let's go.
But is everybody going to have 100 RBI's now?
Just, boom.
20 home runs, 100 RBI's.
Wow.
We're asking for bold predictions for thank you
for the call, Gary, for next question day.
The winner will get a pair of tickets.
He's Zach Brandy with Heventor with Kings of Leon on September
18th and the Woodlands at the Woodlands at Dover
Motor Speedway in Dover, Delaware.
Take his available, the woodlandsdover.com.
If Alec Balm hits 20 home runs and drives in 100 runs,
let's say he hits 292.
What kind of contract does Alec Balm get as a free agent?
I think four years, maybe.
I was going to say 500.
So yeah.
Wow.
Hurritha.
Yeah, there he is.
From the Philly.
He's never going to leave.
From the Philly, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
So what do you mean from the Philly?
I thought you meant just as a free agent.
No, I meant just as a free agent,
but you know it'll be the Philly family.
We don't let our guys go.
There is a,
Oh, he is our guy.
There is a baseball game tonight, Aaron Judge,
and the New York Yankees face Rafael Devers
and the San Francisco Giants tonight on Netflix.
That is 8 p.m.
Oh, is that why I got to catch that game, man?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, another streaming service.
Oh, okay.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I'm going to love this.
I'm going to set my lineup.
You got the Yankees.
I think I do have one Yankee on your team.
On my baseball team.
And everybody, everybody was so proud.
It's like, oh, I'm a court cutter.
I'm a court cutter.
This is way better.
I don't have cable.
Oh, this is way better.
It's way cheaper.
Oh, is it now?
I like it now.
Well, I'm an expenditure, man.
So Paul George is back tonight after serving his 25 game
suspension.
Here is what he had to say yesterday about his return.
You know, this 25 games was just what I needed, I think,
from my body to kind of hill and, you know,
being a better place.
And I've been feeling great.
I've been feeling awesome on the court.
And so I'm looking forward to putting it to the test now.
Glad he's rested up.
Yeah.
I have this hard, I have a hard time crushing Paul George
because he seems like a fine guy who is completely unaware.
So just completely unaware of, like he lives in Philly.
Somehow he doesn't hear any of it.
I don't think he's on social media.
He doesn't understand.
And he's sort of skating by because nobody really cares
about the Sixers.
So he got suspended for 25 games.
People cared, they would have been really outraged.
Outraged, like, and he did, you know,
it was a long press conference.
He did apologize.
He said it disappointed, the fans disappointed his teammates,
all those things noted that, you know,
whatever he took, he was having a mental issue or whatever.
But dude, the, it was just what you needed
to get your body right.
Month off.
Well, he better, okay, buddy.
Then you know what I want?
I want, you know,
30 and an idea.
Yeah.
He essentially said he feels like his old self
now he can get back to,
he can show to the scoring low.
Go ahead and do all those things.
Go ahead, buddy.
Hey, who's stopping you?
We're 100 million in.
And we have like three games of that.
I agree.
100 million in.
This is going to be awesome, you know?
This is the last game before we got suspended.
It was probably the best game he had.
He squit 30, 32, I think it nine threes in that game.
And then everybody was like, oh, now one,
now we see what it's been from.
Yeah.
Come on, buddy.
Come on, Paul.
Come on, PG.
You have beta tonight.
I know.
I look.
Yeah.
It's better.
Oh, on the giant.
Oh, big stuff.
He's in there.
Yeah.
I thought about overdrafting beta,
but I have to say so disciplined with a football,
with the baseball rap discipline, discipline, discipline,
discipline.
I said your tweet this morning.
Very proud of your draft.
I am.
I thought I had a good draft.
I did.
I thought I had a good draft.
And because I, you know, last year,
I started off very slow,
but you know, there are a couple of spots that I wasn't,
a couple of guys that was looking to get that,
that went right before when I wanted to get them,
but I was very happy.
I maintained to make the playoffs.
Six.
Six.
That's my goal.
I like this, the little snort before your life.
Yeah.
I'm in there.
Yeah.
To be one of the six, yeah.
I still can't believe you paid 90 bucks for,
for fantasy baseball stuff.
Well.
Seriously, when I just had Max print me on top 300 players.
And I sent you a long email.
Yeah.
Which I actually used last night.
Well, to bet everybody else started picking the players
that you had in the list.
Just so you know, I use it for football as well.
And one of them is like, one of them's a nerd football stat
thing that I would probably pay for anyway,
but I'm lucky that I get this stuff out of it.
So three separate services.
I need data, man.
Baseball is a data one.
No, it is a data.
It's a data sport.
Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of info out there.
I'm really, I'm looking to see how long I stay
locked in on this.
Oh, you just get on this show.
I feel like you will.
I will talk about it.
I think you guys will keep me locked in.
You got to sit your line up every day.
Yeah.
I can't wait for you.
I can't wait for you to get the package.
When I mean by that is the mlb.tv package
where there's big inning.
We've all four games at once.
I need you at home.
Well, quad box in it.
That's not going to happen.
What I need, I need a hot.
I don't need more information.
That just confuses me.
I need a hot three week start from Ike and fantasy baseball.
That's what he needs.
Yes.
You need a good start.
Cause then I'll really, I'll really be locked in on it.
You lose, you know, 11 won in the first week or something.
I'm out of my door.
Yeah.
I'm in the set.
Yeah.
I can even knew about Joey Cantillo
and the season he's going to have.
That's just disgusting.
He's come so far.
Who?
The guy on spike stand.
Yeah.
Well, that's a lot of that's a lot of that.
Now, you don't have deep starters.
Like you need probably more pitching.
Well, everybody needs more pitching.
But here's the thing.
Here's the way I was thinking about it.
Like you have six bench guys on an offense.
Yes, but here's what I was thinking.
As I was drafted.
Oh, let me mess up during your strategy.
No, no, he's not going to.
And I'm happy with my starters.
I'm happy with my starters is what I, you got it.
You got to just take what the draft gives you and figure it out out.
Yeah.
Cause I was getting worried because my, my first, second, third base was pretty weak
for a while.
And then I looked at my list and my next 30 guys were all like pitchers and outfielders
and I said, what, what am I going to overdraft the second baseman or am I just going to load
up and if I have to make a trade, I'll make a trade.
I said, I'll be fine, Jack.
I'll be fine.
Look at this infield.
That's an infield right there.
Salvador Perez.
There you go.
There you go.
Price.
Yeah, boom.
Nick Horner.
Boom.
Horner's good, good hit sky.
Yeah.
Nico Horner.
Nico Horner.
Yeah.
Not a table chat son.
Boom.
Yeah.
Interesting.
Interesting.
What a trader.
What a trader you are.
Yeah.
Interesting you drafted him.
Jack, why don't tell everybody about the bad accident.
I just want to tell people about my fancy infield.
Yeah.
Terang.
There we go.
Austin Raleigh, Francis Golden Door.
Are you done?
You kidding me.
Unbelievable.
All right.

Sean, is it Newark or Newark?
Where are you?
Sean.
Newark Delaware.
There you go.
Newark.
That's Newark then.
Okay.
Newark.
Yes.
Jersey is Newark and Delaware is Newark.
Okay.
Get a load of this.
You're on WIP.
I learned something new.
Thank you for taking the call.
Tomorrow's opening day.
Yeah.
Let's try to talk some fillies.
I like that.
We're doing that earlier.
Yeah, buddy.
So, I would like to put in my two cents of what I really would like to see them do and
maybe it'll happen later.
And that is put Crawford in it lead off and just leave them there and start the season
that way.
And it fixes a lot of the other problems.
All of a sudden now, you got Shorber that can be forward back up a bone.
You still got the other guys Garcia and different things to fill the line up out down the
road.
The reason Crawford I like him at four is he's proven to me with four years of consecutive
minor league play and they've moved him like him and he's been like on like 12 different
teams in his four years.
Like he's all over the place.
Like when you look at his baseball reference thing, like you have to get everything to consolidate
for the four year.
And no matter where he goes, he hits like three, twenty, three, thirty.
His rep is that he starts slow a little bit.
So every filly fan should probably maybe not, you know, be patient for April.
If he starts a little slow, but the guy's like for four years, three, twenty two, he's
on base percentages over four hundred.
Traytoners never had an on base percentage over four hundred in his career.
But, but, but also you're talking about minor league stats versus a guy who led the league
in hits last year.
Well, I just talking to the type of player he is.
That's all.
Yeah.
Levels.
He can only play the competition in front of him.
Well, for sure, but you're, you're talking about one like he hits the, I have no
problem with him hitting nine.
And here's what I would say, instead of you thinking about nine is all the way away from
one.
Nine is right before one.
So, so he is essentially, if, if I called nine one, then he is hitting lead off and behind
him, Tray, Kyle Schorber, Bryce Harper and Alec Bome.
He, there's no pitcher anymore.
So, so like his job is to get on base for those guys and turn the line up over.
The only thing difference between him and Tray is going to be Tray is going to get more
at that.
That's about it.
But in terms of setting up the, the, the, the, the guys ahead of him, if he gets on base,
the rate, the rate that you think he's going to get on base, it, it's going to help the,
the line up in the same way that if he was hitting lead off probably in a better way,
because of more good hitters behind him, of Tray hitting behind him, instead of, you,
you see what I'm saying?
Like he is the full top four.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I basically agree with your point all together.
So I'm not necessarily all down on the nine spot, because if I didn't put him first,
that's where I would want him in nine and, and for the exactly the reasons you said.
But the other reason I called the mentioned carpers are, are Crawford is a sunshine thing.
One thing to jump out of me is if you consolidate and look at the total of his career, he's played
exactly the number of games that would be two full seasons.
Like if you took 162 and double it, you know, you, the, the number of games, and so if you
were to just take his numbers and slash it in half, it gives you a good idea what it would
be over 162 game season again at the minor league level.
But what jumped out at me is the stolen bases.
He'd be average in 75 stolen bases a year if he kept up the same pace and played every
game.
And, and Tray Turner's never had a 50 stolen base season his career.
So that's the other part that might be fun is seeing this guy not only get on base,
which he has the higher, you know, the on base percentage, but then the fact that he
could really be out there running, you know, and, and we've never seen anybody like that
in ages that could get, let me ask you to show him the base of the year, go ahead.
Let's say we're talking at the all star break, what's Justin Crawford's batting average?
I would, since he has a rep of start and slow, I'm not, I'm going to say he might be under
three higher, but I think he could be over 270 at the all star break, you know, and then
start coming on later.
I think he's going to hit three honors.
He plays all year.
Oh, God bless.
Or be close to it, maybe two 90.
I'll lose that.
Maybe I'm going too far, but I think he can hit two 90.
I hope he hits two 62 in the minors.
He's three 22 for his career and last year was three 30, you know, like he does it every
year, but they just said he starts a little slow and then he all the sudden he starts
heating up and then that's it.
He just starts rolling the rest of the year.
Your lips to God's ears, Sean.
And I think that that is your bold prediction, actually, that's the one, I'm not asking
him for one.
You know, saying that the Justin Crawford's going to hit 300.
I'm with you.
I'll take 262 65, 265, 265 getting on base like a steel on base is fine, totally fine.
You're like that, fritzie.
265 would be fine.
Oh, perfectly fine.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, this is how it's going to be.
Yeah, with Crawford.
God.
Hit him, Leo.
Well, until he's hitting, you know, 216 in the first hit and black.
Well, your baseball people have finally convinced me that with the whole, you only lead off
once in the game.
Yes.
That makes sense.
It does make sense.
So you got to shift the thinking from the first inning to the eighth and ninth.
Yeah, it does make sense.
So I'm okay with that.
Yeah, for sure.
And by the way, if you have him batting 280 to 90 at a nine spot, wreaking havoc, like
getting on.
Oh my God.
The amazing.
Yeah.
Me creating, you know, like let's say trays up.
The picture's got to worry about Crawford at first base, all the same pixel ever twice.
Crawford's going.
Like it creates some, some, the picture can be a little discombobulated.
Yes.
I would rather, if Crawford's like that, I have no problem with him hitting ninth.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I know we talked a lot last year about him with the ground ball, outrate and everything.
I mean, with the way he runs, LA's kind of convinced me.
He hits the ball.
He forces the fender, either left or right.
He can beat the, beat the throw.
He will.
So he forces an error or two here and there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And he'll beat awesome balls.
Sure.
Right.
It's just how many of those get sucked up because they're professionals or because they're
major league guys.
Major league players.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And Tennessee, your own WIP, a Justin, sorry, didn't get you yesterday, buddy.
Oh, that's all right, man.
I'm all good, man.
How y'all doing today, fellas?
We're doing great.
What's up, Chad?
Me, Eagles Insider, the year has begun for 2027.
We're in great mood here.
Yeah.
And Diane is probably going to win it probably for June 2nd.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's going to be a lot down June 2nd.
She's definitely going to have an early lead.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It starts March 25th and Diane is going to win it June 2nd.
Yeah.
That was great.
I loved it when she said that about the Joco Elliott, it was like, oh, that was pretty
that young good, man.
And real quick, something else I wanted to hit on from yesterday, when y'all, or whatever
date was, y'all had Elliott on, talking about, he wanted to vote like a past champion,
be able to vote for it.
Yeah.
Because you'd probably vote for yourself.
And he's like, well, yeah, I'm thinking, yeah, you'd vote for yourself.
You want to vote for an OG Goldberg collar.
You know what I'm saying?
Right.
Yeah.
You didn't get you to vote, though.
Yeah.
Exactly.
I'm like, you've propped up for years as an OG bird's collar, but you're going vote for
yourself.
I say, yeah, it is.
No, I'm just teasing.
But, man, yesterday, I was cracking up, Jack Scott, you got to have the, here's the guy
that blindfolded Elliott.
What, what y'all say his name is?
Oh, Max.
Yeah.
Y'all got to give him like a pitch count playing or like one in tickers where you count
people coming in.
And every time, like, one of the days, like yesterday, when I snore, when he gets tickled,
like, dude, you could probably count 50 snores.
People would have him rolling, you know, I mean, he was, I'm telling you what, he was
snorting up a storm, you know, and when y'all got off on that three company tangent, I
will down this hill, three company is probably still the greatest sitcom ever, y'all.
Oh, that is bold.
Yeah.
That is, I'm telling y'all, man, you go back, it's something like, I think it's IFC that
they show reruns.
Oh, yeah, IFC.
Yep.
Yep.
I did do this day.
John Reader was a comic genius and then Mr. Roper, I like Mr. Fairly, but Mr. Roper was
great.
I agree.
I was with the Ropers.
I like the Ropers.
Yeah, man.
Yep.
And Mrs. Roper, I mean, she was just like the female version of Hordeo.
Yep.
She was all the time trying to get Mr. Roper doing, and one time, one time I actually met
the gal that followed Chrissy, Terry.
That was her night.
Terry, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I met her like five, six years ago, this comic book fanboy convention thing I went
to.
Y'all, she's still good looking lady to be and her and Janet both, like Janet, at first
I was a Chrissy guy, but now I'm older, I look and I'm like, yeah, Janet's where it
was.
Oh, yeah.
Hell yeah.
Yeah.
That short black hair.
Yes, sir.
Hell yeah.
Yeah, boy.
But, and the one thing that got left off yesterday was Chuck Norris for the, what was
a total gem that he used to have?
Oh, he was.
That's right.
He was.
Yeah.
I was waiting on either Suzanne Simmers or Chuck Norris or George Pullman.
Those would have been the, the top three I was picking on, but my, my bold take for the
year for the fields.
I'm going to jump on the Justin Crowford train.
I think he finished his second for rookie of the year, has, we're going to say, I'm
going to say he goes 45 stolen bases, average is 260 this year with five homers kind
of.
I think, I think once this kid gets going, man, he's going to be a tear on the base path.
And like, if he gets on and you've got trey coming up behind him, they're going, they
ain't going to know what to do.
And that kid's going to run wreak havoc on the base path.
I really do.
All these guys, you just got to get on the base first, you know, as long as he gets on
first base, you know?
Yeah, just like, just like LB said yesterday, he's, he's ice cold in April, but it, but
once he starts to heat up, he's going to get going.
I got my trophy in the mail.
I think it was Monday yesterday for color of the year.
Oh, great.
Yeah, I got it.
I got it stuck up on the mantle.
I want me to make a little quick video and send it to y'all and everything.
Thank you, everybody, but thank you to Ava for sending it down here and thank everybody
for voting for me once again.
But that trophy's awesome.
And it's an actual phone.
The rotary thing.
Yeah, if it weren't, he wouldn't know how to call nobody.
I bet that would not know how to die like that, Jim.
I don't, I don't think so either.
Yeah, I don't think so, man, man, we used to have a phone.
It was red and hung on the wall, but it was a loan in the code of a girlfriend.
That game living room all the way to kitchen.
I'm going to be in there and the kitchen that thing stretched out at court,
be screaming for mercy, but that's who we had one in cordless deal.
Yes, I'll get off here and let them go, but what I love is I mean,
if you are someone you know needs help, you're not alone.

Salute.
Chuck in Mount Erie.
He was cooking.
He was cooking.
He was, yeah, yeah, got a little ahead of himself.
Yes.
What's next?
Okay, sure.
That definitely happened.
Give me a break.
Derek and Peole hearing Elliott say, how everyone asks him about
insider of the year in public.
You think he's really stopped at the gas station?
I do.
Okay.
Yeah.
Well, man, you don't have to lie, man.
No, I especially in that suit.
No, come on.
He got dressed up.
He stood out, put a pillowcase over his head.
I got to be at the gas station pumping gas in that suit.
How about that?
Yeah.
It's bold.

I'm sure.
I'm sure you guys doing great.
Yeah.
Keep trying your best season went exactly the way everybody wanted it.
You guys might make the plan.
Yeah.
What's nice?
Somebody dial 911.
What would have happened if they put a pillowcase over her for a collar of a year?
Could you imagine?
Oh, man.
Put the hood on her side.
On her.
Yeah, it wasn't a hood.
It was a pillowcase.
It was gray.
What's next?
These guys have some nerve.
This is reverse sexism.
Elliott watching I can spike be nice to Diana was seen before an entire segment.
It was very funny.
Oh, man, Diana, you're the greatest.
She's a guest.
Yeah.
How about this get this over here?
Yeah, Tommy.
Yeah, put another mask on him.
They put a kick me sign on his back.

Yeah, I guess because you're in the building, I guess.
She's publicly shaming Elliott and he threw it out there a couple of times.
Well, I'm down there.
Usually every day.
I know, I know you come dial wasn't we tried to pull the big journal.
You did it.
I think I piped down.

Actually, I'm good.
Jeff McLean seeing Elliott hoods and chains on YouTube.
Get one photo shop.
Did you see that one?
No, the leather vest.
And he got it like he got the handcuffs with the fur around him.
What's going on?
Don't treat it out.
Don't treat it out.
Call it BPS or something like that.
Oh, BDSM.
Yeah, yeah, that's yeah.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, sorry.
Seems like you know about it.

We the, the, the, the, the, the pillowcase over his head.

with the midday show at one live from Citizens Bank Park.
Happy opening day.
Thank you for listening to us.

We love you for it.
Remember, Deodorant is the thief of joy.
Adam Cassebi.
K-S-E-B-E.
He's based out of Long and Foster in Bethany Beach.
He could be your partner to getting you into a beach house
in Delaware.
You know, I first started talking about Adam.
I talked about the greatness of the Delaware beaches.
I haven't recently.
I just want to tell you if I had a choice
going to the Jersey Shore or Delaware beaches,
I would pick Delaware.
It has everything you want that Jersey has,
except much lower property taxes, much lower.
My wife and I would go to Lewis.
We would take a little drive over to Rojobeth.
Once or twice when we're staying there,
it's about 10 minutes away.
But the Delaware beaches are beautiful.
And when I say property taxes,
you use Cassebi to buy yourself a beach house in Delaware.
Think of the difference in property taxes.
Jersey highest in the country, Delaware lowest.
So imagine, say a house is like $7,800,000 of beach house.
In Jersey, you're going to be paying 12, 13, 14,
$15,000 of your property taxes.
Delaware, like 1,000, maybe 2,000.
It's a huge difference.
So when you rent it out for the summer
and you're collecting that money
with the lower property taxes,
basically paying your mortgage.
And Cassebi is so good at this.
He is just so good.
He will be, when you tell him you're interested,
he will be locked in until you're happy.
He will have more clients.
It'll feel like you're the only person he has.
When it's time, when you feel like
you want one of those beach houses, call Adam or text him.
