Welcome to Tech Knocks, she news with their host Patrick Wood. I am your co-host Logan House. Today we have Trump last, bloodites for opposing data centers. Paxilica, the fine print comes due. What happened to the AI job apocalypse and why the AI capability multiplier has compressed to 3.1 months from 3.5. Let's go to this first one, Patrick. Trump last, bloodites for opposing data centers. On Monday, the President of the United States told the people of Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, Arizona, and every other state, now fighting hyper-scale data centers exactly what he thinks of them. Quote, the only reason that communities throughout the USA should not want data centers is if they want to end up being backwards and poor. He wrote on true social quote, if you want to be successful and rich with far lower taxes and jobs all
over the place, let data reign. And then the warning quote, if we kill the golden goose, you will only have yourselfs to blame. And quote, kill the golden goose. Why is AI the golden goose? This is the, this is an absolutely stunning development in my opinion. This statement is so loaded that if they fail, if we convince them to not build data centers, then it's our fault when AI fails. This makes absolutely no sense. And you know, Trump talked about the golden age before the inauguration and they say, or everything's going to be really, really, really strong and good and abundance for everybody. Well, here we are today. Nothing
has been materialized. And so nevertheless, the golden goose, you might remember the story, the golden goose laid golden eggs, right? Like one a day or more every day. And that was a source of riches for whoever owned that golden goose. So we're going to be blamed. We're going to blame, they're going to blame us for the golden goose kicking a bucket. Mm-hmm. Really? This is, this is so disturbing, especially for Christians in our country, I think. And not, not maybe some, some Christians, but certainly this audience should be aware or at least see what's going on. The pivot is turning against us. Wow. Because we're, we're among that group for sure, there's one of the most vocal kickback against the data centers.
You can just see it coming. And then when he had Peter Teal in the mix, Peter Teal has been talking about the anti-Christ, spirit, at least the spirit of anti-Christ, or at least two years now. And as, in his lectures, he gave lectures at Rome and Silicon Valley. And his idea is, well, all the forces who were trying to can AI, they're that, that's anti-Christ. That's the spirit of anti-Christ. Get your hands off of AI and leave it alone, let it mature, whatever. So you have Peter Teal making the theological argument. And now Trump comes and says, says the same thing from a political point of view, he makes the moral argument. All you people basically have gone off your off the deep end and your moral compasses who whacked and, you know, you can't see straight,
you're trying to kill the golden goose and you're going to end up being, I think I'm, what's flashing in my mind is a revelation. The chapter of three, you're, you're going to end up blind, naked and poor. That's, this is absolutely insane. It's totally inverted at this point, totally inverted. Yeah. And you have in this article about Peter Teal, beginning in the fall of 2024 and culminating in a four part lecture series delivered to the act 17 collective in San Francisco, the delayed out theological political thesis that has since become the operating theological theology of the I build out and it goes down if we go down a paragraph. It says, the old name's names in the 21st century, he told his audience, the anti-Christ is quote, a luddite who wants to stop all science. It's someone like Greta Thunberg or
Elisir Yudkowski, I don't know, I don't know if I know who that is. That's right. That's right. So the anti-Christ is a luddite who wants to stop all science, Patrick, a luddite, someone who's opposed to new technology automation or industrial change. Like, like, like, Greta, just like Greta. You might remember Greta, I don't know if you do. Yeah. That's just, what an insult to call somebody like Greta Thunberg, that's absolutely insane. But Trump is done the same thing. Trump has made the same argument now from a moral perspective, not theological, but from a moral perspective. He's saying the same thing. Do you think possibly Peter Teal and Trump got on the same page long the way you bet they did. You bet they did. So they're teaming up, if you will, to cast anybody who comes against AI as a spirit of anti-Christ, as
luddites, people who want to be poor, people who are prone to self-harm, suicide, whatever. You can't make this up. Yeah, they're really setting it up, right? For these people who protest data centers. I mean, if he is out here talking like this and some of these other AI tech companies, officials are believing this stuff. So anyone who protested them or protested data center is now under the spirit of the anti-Christ because they're opposed to the data centers. I know. This is absolutely insane. But you can see the spiritual inversion is taking place and all the people who are surrounding Trump right now. And by the way, they have an all bought end to Peter Teal's explanation of the anti-Christ. But you can see all the spiritual forces surrounding President Trump, they're taking the pivot to claim that anybody who opposes them
will be the enemy. We will be turned into the scapegoat eventually because we're going to block potentially. We're going to block their plans to take over the whole world for a digital gulag. You can see, okay, they're going to come for us. All I can say, bring it on. I guess, you know, whatever. We'll take it. Yeah. I don't like it. This is not the America that I know. And I think that a lot of people in around the country think the same thing. Now, I don't know if you saw this Patrick, but it relates a little bit and I don't really like JD Vance. And I think he is also a product of Peter Teal. So he's not going to go in status centers very hard as well at all. But he did do an interview recently. And he was talked, he I think he was asked about AI. And I don't know. Have you seen this where he talks about the Silicon Valley's funeral or models? Do you want to play it real quick? Sure. Go ahead. Go ahead.
All right. He's talking about how some of these companies in Silicon Valley actually hold funerals and a burial when they were tire a model of their their chatbot. Here we go. Have you ever been in a room, though? Like in Washington, that feels spiritually dark. Because I've been in a room that's like, okay, you feel like Satan is is presently here or there's blatant evil. Have you ever felt that just being in a room with around power and fluent stuff like that? Yeah. So, so definitely though less like a room itself and more sometimes like people that are around you sometimes give you a very, very bad feeling. You know, I've definitely, you know, I've been in meetings with world leaders where various issues are being discussed and somebody will say something or somebody will make an observation and I will like feel a certain darkness about it. And I kind of like it sort of sets off every
spiritual alarm bell on my body like whatever that person just said, I need to be very careful because that's not that's not a great thing. I think that there are like things about the world that make me feel like not shocked if the antichrist was was walking among us. But again, I try not to focus too much on it. I think that, you know, I made life as living as an investor in Silicon Valley sort of right before the AI boom really started. I sort of got into politics. And, you know, there are things that some of the AI companies you see happening where you feel like there is some really, really weird spiritual dark energy. So like, have you heard this like one of the companies you know that develops these models when they get rid of one model and announce a new model, they actually hold a burial ceremony for the old model. And like the employees apparently will cry. What the heck? Yeah. Yeah, that's that's odd. That makes me feel very weird. That makes me feel
very uncomfortable. And there's some some some dark spiritual things going on there. I mean, people have like AI romantic partners now. People are like watching a part and it's like watching my strange addiction again. You know, we're like someone's in a relationship with their car. Yeah, you know, but it's like it's modified into, you know, an AI robot. A buddy told me that his his wife was using like chat GPT or maybe it was one of the other ones, but was using that as like a marital counselor. And this sort of had this moment of realization that like this is the worst marital counselor ever. So the big part of that was that little thing he he let out there that some of these AI companies are holding burials for the chat models. I mean, that's a little odd, Patrick. Well, it just it just tells you how how spiritual this whole thing is. There's an under there's an undercurrent running through all of the technocracy nonsense across the country. And it's turning ugly at this point, I think. And he's kind of an indicating that there. I don't think JD is
maybe he's siding completely with crop on this issue. But you can see kind of the other the other side of the the dialectic coming out of his mouth. So we go figure. Yeah, yeah. Or we're up on a break. We come back. We move on to the next article. Um, Paxilica, the fine print comes to right after this. For 30 years, Brandon House has taught one discipline set aside the person go to the Bible. In his new book, he turns that discipline on the five points of Calvinism and tests each one verse by verse is a man so dead and sin that he cannot believe until he is regenerated first. Did Christ die only for a chosen few? Did God predestine the rest to hell? Is your salvation held hostage to how well you persevere? And is God the author of sin? House
answers each question, not from Calvin, not from any man, from the Bible. It is written in love, not contempt, and it is careful to separate the system from the sincere people who hold it. Read it for your own assurance, then hand it without fear to someone you love. Another gospel, Biblically refuting Calvinism, now available for preorder at worldviewstore.com. All right, welcome back from the break. Let's move on, Patrick, to another article you wrote just yesterday, Pax Silica, the fine print comes due. And just for the audience, we don't remember, we're reminding them what is Pax Silica? It's coming from the State Department, is that correct? It is. And Courtney and I wrote about Pax Silica actually three or four times this year.
It came out of the State Department in December of 25, and nobody really paid attention. We did because I thought it was a big thing. And Pax Silica is a declaration, it's not a treaty, it's not even a agreement, but it's a declaration that any country that wants to join our consortium with AI development, they can join, but they have to adhere to our terms of service, if you will. Kind of like buying an app on the app store and you have to, you know, consent, you're going to follow all of these rules or else, you're going to be kicked out, right? So Pax Silica has signed a bunch of countries to the idea they're going to be delivered all of the AI stack from us to them to use for their purposes, as long as it's in line with our purposes. And nobody really said, well, what does that mean? How would that look? You know, well,
you'd get the data centers, you get the software, you get the application, it doesn't matter. Everything with AI that we have, you're going to have. But now they're learning, oh, but if you try to, you know, dance with a devil on the other side of the pond, like China for us is, you're going to get kicked out of the consortium, you know, you're out of here. So this is the article, this is why I titled it, the fine print comes due. One country at least two, now probably two, we're going to be kicked out of the consortium if they don't stop their converting with China on implementing Chinese AI models on our hardware stack, if you're allowed. Now, and what are those two countries? Do you know, is it in here? It did. I'll shoot. Yeah, I can't, I can't get him out of my mouth. It's Catholic,
it's a status. Oh, Kazakhstan. Okay. You got it. Kazakhstan. And these are the, these are the two dozen countries. Plus the EU signed on inside it, the eight inside of eight months, Japan, India, Chile, the UAE, Germany, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Italy, Taiwan, and more. Yes. So this is, we, we cast this as an effort to build empire around the world. Trump wants to build empire. And this is one way to do it, get everybody and onto our rails, if you will, with AI. And so this is why the whole thing was started in the first place. It was not a treaty, Congress has not approved it at all. But nevertheless, they are building empire even as we speak. So now these countries, I think it's Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Yeah. Both of them are on the
chopping block right now. If they don't straighten up, they're going to be kicked out. Well, I'll be interesting to watch that and see what other countries have go down. Well, let's move on to the next article we have here. What happened to the AI job apocalypse? You have here AI is the ultimate disruptor, but the employment apocalypse hasn't happened as predicted so far. What we have is an employment turn, but not necessarily employment burn across multiple industries, employees, or reporting increased job stress and burnout because of strain of using AI. Many employees are reporting more work because AI gives them more tasks to do. You are in this article written by Joe Bernalami. He is referencing a Stanford report on the latest employment data. And AI has not yet resulted in large scale job destruction. Are we just not at that point yet? Are we still at the point where we're letting AI models train with the employees? You know, this is an interesting question. You bring up because
this was my impression in the first place that he has is going to be totally disruptive. But on the other hand, maybe we've been stole the bill of goods by the AI chiefs themselves. Maybe it's not going to be as destructive to the overall labor market as they say. I'm just saying I'm not making any prediction at this point. I'm not saying that trends are going to change, but at this point, nothing has really happened substantial in the labor market. People that are using AI certainly some of them are being displaced, but some people that are using AI and their companies, they're getting burned out because they have more work than they ever had before. And it's following them home at that point. So they have no rest when they get home, the AI still bugging them for stuff. So the burnout is maybe that will catch up with all these people and they just figure, no, what I'm out of here. I'm going to go and live on a farm or
something and get away from AI all together. Well, that sounds nice. It sounds nice. Go work on a farm, get away from technology. Doesn't sound terrible. I know. Anyway, this is a cautionary tale at this point. I think we need to be very lary of anything that these AI executives have told us over the last few years. At this point, they're proven to be off the charts as far as moral compass is concerned. And anything that they're promoting for themselves, you have to view it in their own interest. Why would they want to say these things in the first place? So they hit this one one article just kind of struck me. We need to be careful. So everyone protesting protesting about AI taking their jobs are not being influenced by a Chinese side up. They're being influenced by a tech CEO,
sia up against themselves. There you go. That's perfect. Maybe the tech, maybe the tech CEOs are working for China. I don't think so. Let's go to this last article. I didn't anyone's wondering a lot of people are online saying that the AI data center, AI outrage is all perpetrated by China. China is the reason why everyone is so upset about AI. Meanwhile, we have all these CEOs out here talking about how it's going to take our jobs, talking about how it's going to make us be on our best behavior. So we all know we're being watched 24-7. So everyone's going to be on their best behavior. But don't listen to that. That's just China's the reason people are upset. Yeah, it's really, really crazy. China doesn't have the money to spend on us at this point. They have their own issues in their own country. And to think somehow
China has a massive influence in our country, to stimulate all these people protesting AI, give me a break. That's very thin explanation what's going on. And I think it's patently false. Yeah, let's move on to our last article here. Why the AI capability multiplier has compressed to 3.1 months from 3.5. And you have off to the side here the AI capability multiplier at 53.52 at the time we're recording this show. And so it was doubling every 3.5 months and it has now compressed down to doubling every 3.1 months, Patrick. Exactly. This is my assessment, my assessment, personally, of what's happening right now. But AI is accelerating. I said, when I first establish this multiplier, maybe it will expand, maybe it will compress. We just didn't know.
Some people were saying, well, AI will hit a plateau and then it'll, you know, taper off or whatever. That was a possibility. Others said, well, maybe it'll be compressed because of new developments, new breakthroughs, that sort of thing, new models. And that was a view. Okay. So I settled on 3.5 months that it took to double AI capability. And that's a measure, not just of the raw computing power of AI, that that's certain, certainly a factor. But I'm also looking at the spread of AI to do useful work across the whole spectrum of industry. And at this point, it's just sweeping industry after industry. And the ability of AI to do useful work. And this is aside from just being a teller in itself,
as spreading at an alarming rate at this point. So we're going to watch this. I don't think I'm going to bring it back more than 3.1. But certainly, I believe this is a justified at this point. And one of the videos that I have in this article down below, by the way, that will make the case, I think, for you. If nothing else, you see where my thinking's coming from. Well, so it's just stunning. In any case, it's stunning what's going on at this point. And, one, by the way, we have a couple of minutes left here. Stripe, the major payment processor on the internet. Stripe is just huge at this point. They're in a position they wanted to buy PayPal. But they made an offer. They didn't work out so far. But Stripe has grown leaps and browns. And now it's entered into the AI space,
not with a model, not with any other agent stuff. But they acquired another company, it called Open Router. As a, it was a huge acquisition over $7 billion that's paid for it. And this, this company lets them set up bought to bought e-commerce. In other words, there's no human involved. So bots are now accumulating communicating with each other on the internet to buy things, exchange money, et cetera. And they're, they saw the handwriting on the wall when the wall went vertical in January of this year. And it's been, it's been crazy ever since. So, Stripe is betting at this point that the, the internet, the nature of the internet traffic has changed.
And going forward, they want to be the, the player in that market to enable bots to wrap up e-commerce situations and transfer money back to, from, from each other back and forth. Really crazy. Yeah, yeah. Well, we're all out of time for today. One last little piece I have to show, as many might know, former governor of the Santas of Florida put out a, well, it's actually the Florida Department of Transportation, but I think it was started by governor of Santas, the push to take out flock cameras on state roads throughout Florida. And there's, you know, there's counties that are going along and there's counties that are kind of fighting back. Well, one is the sheriff of Jackson Bill. He's taking down flock cameras to Volk County, why? All roads. So that's good. But then you have the Miami Beach mayor, Stephen Miner put this out. The, it says, F dot Florida Department of Transportation just revoked permits for automated license plate readers on state roads, giving us
30 days to rip out technology that's helped our police track fleeing suspects, get guns off the streets and arrest violent criminals. This is a hit public safety and bringing legislative, legislation to take back control of our roads from the states, our residents deserve better. And we don't have time to go into it, but I just know that comment section is a blood bath Patrick. I would think so. I will cover some of that maybe on Thursday, but we'll we'll be back with another report until then take care. God bless.
