Pirates Avoid Sweep as Bullpen Slams Door on Cubs

About this episode

The Pittsburgh Pirates avoided the sweep at Wrigley Field with a 4-3 win over the Chicago Cubs.

DiNardo and Doug break down a start from Bubba Chandler that wasn’t dominant, but showed another step forward in his development. They also discuss Carmen Mlodzinski settling into the bullpen, Luke Weaver looking better, Mason Montgomery continuing his ridiculous scoreless run, and the Pirates getting just enough offense to finish the job.

Plus, Konnor Griffin and Oneil Cruz at the top of the lineup, Nick Gonzales coming through, and Brandon Lowe delivering a huge pinch-hit knock.

I'm your host, Anthony D'Ardo with me. We got Doug E. Fresh. Doug, of course, it's Sunday. It's the NFL season. So we know you and I are on. Who else would be here? Who else would be here? We're a fixture. Right. But at least we get to get away today. That's right. Yeah, parts. When today they void the sweep. Oh, why is this been up? Oh, gosh, I meant to take it. Yeah, too. Yeah, it's the heart of the sweep. I was actually a pretty solid bulging. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You got decent starting pitching. The bullpen did its job. Defense had a few plays and some timely hits. Yeah. I mean, it's, again, I say this a lot, but this was the blueprint at the beginning of the year. Right. Good starting pitching, some timely hitting. We weren't, you know, we were not expecting the offense to do. I was expecting it to do. We were expecting it to do.

We were expecting it to do. What it did in the first half. And so, yeah, it, this was a nice solid win. It was. I mean the top of the lineup executed. Rather well today, I'm no connoisse, one for five. But he started off the big game with, uh, with a hit. Oh, no, crews went one for two with three walks. I mean, his bad news. He's a catalyst. Better against what these and he is right. He's a catalyst. He is a catalyst. Yeah. And then Brian Reynolds goes to or for today with a walk as well. So again, the top lineup did very well executing. The starting pitching was solid. Ish. I want to talk about Bubba to an extent here. But then the bullpen came in and shut the game down. But you know, against one of the better offices than baseball in the Cubs, right? They're a good team. PCA was pretty much shut down. So yeah, pirates went four to three. We get some sandwiches. So that means you guys you guys give this hashtag raise it's in here. And while you're doing that as well, and I'm going to give you the floor here to tell everyone

all right, where we're donating for we got the Clemente foundation. We're making taking donations for. So please donate everything that you put in. We are matching up to a thousand fifty. So everything you guys donate today. We're going to match it all the way through Clemente day on Tuesday. So let's raise some money for a good cause. Yeah, this is a this is a great cause. This is important. Let's let's do some good. Let's put some good in the world. Yeah, for sure. Absolutely. So again, I do want to start this off talking about Bubba Chandler because what I do want to say here is. It wasn't an impressive start by Bubba Chandler. But I was impressed with Bubba Chandler's start. And I'll be it was five. That's well played. That is well played. Three earned runs. The reason I'm saying that is I mean, yeah, he had four walks today. Five hits four walks and the 5.13 earn like it wasn't a great start in that sense. But I felt like we have witnessed the maturation of Bubba Chandler this year.

You know, the emotional maturity, you know, from the top. I felt like if this start happened in April or May. This would have collapsed a lot earlier. He's probably going three or four. He's out of the ballgame kind of like how he was earlier in the year, right? I mean, he leads off winning with two straight walks. Fly out double play. He gets out of it. I felt like that was the moment when if you saw April or May Bubba. There's probably a three spots in that inning. Really not to beat a dead horse, but I thought he should have been pulled a little earlier. The pirates were clearly playing for 2027 and wanted to get him through six. And you know, they could have got him out there earlier. Maybe the damage wouldn't been as bad. Yeah, it wasn't a great start, but you're right. Like it was a mature start. You know what I'm saying? You're right. It didn't have the like the emotional, you know, I mean, he does not hide his emotions well.

It wears them right there, honestly. And he wasn't doing that. His body language still looked pretty good. He looked like he was in control. Of course, he was frustrated with some of the stuff. But rather than just let it take over, you know, he focused himself and made some pitches when he had to. Yeah, I mean, I think that's one thing we talk about with with Braxton and Bubba, you know, Braxton is a fiery guy also. I mean, Braxton gets pissed off at himself as he misses, you know, a picture would not. But I've said multiple times, I got felt like Braxton has a good way of channeling that for positivity where Bubba almost lets it take over. And then he gets just, he gets to into his head, you know, to two emotional in the sense. And you saw those early implosion and today the stuff wasn't great. Like Bubba stuff wasn't great. He was also very slider. Heavy, the fastball wasn't, he wasn't command the fastball well. And that's what I'm alluding to here, right? Like the stuff wasn't great. He fought through. He still went 5.1, allowed three on runs.

This was still a variable, very winable game, which of course he does get the win for. Right. That's the difference though. He's just a little bit more efficient on and you're still able to fight through. And again, when you allow those two walks because your stuff isn't that good today, right? You aren't, you know, commanding it well. When you get those two guys on a VL walks, you're able to just take the step back and say just go out there and execute. Right. Don't get too cute. Don't get your head. Don't get too pissed off and now you're just, you know, stay focused. Go out there and execute. And that's what I did. And that's why again, like I really appreciate seeing the growth from up a channel this year. Yeah, listen, the key to being a good picture at MLB is not just having great stuff, right? It's being able to pitch when you don't have your best stuff. It happens to guys. It's not, you know, an infrequent thing. It happens a starter to a month, right? And I was like, hey, I don't, I don't have this pitch today.

I don't have my, but I'm going to grind through it. And that's what he did today. It was, this was, like you said, it was not an impressive start. But I'm impressed by how he handled his unimpressive start. Right. You really, you really said that perfectly. And, and that's it. That's, I mean, again, we're, we're not playing for much. We're looking for these little moments, these, you know, signs of growth, signs of development, signs of maturity. And we got that today. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. You know, again, as we mentioned, not to beat the horse here, but yeah, he had 38. Through slider, 38% of the time. I'm sorry, he threw a slider, 38 times, 42% of the time. Fourteen basketball was 34% 31 times. And again, like that's something. I know last star was a little bit different because he had such an enormous lead. It was a nine, not the ball game. I mean, you're throwing fastballs. But right last start. I mean, he was what like 66% 70% fastball. I think it was on like that. He always has been predominantly fastball. And again, when he is on the fastball is what's on today.

It wasn't so much the case. And today he did throw the slider more. And again, maybe that's why he. Was walking more guys. I don't know. Again, though, like the four walks isn't good. You know, he was walking too many. It got him in trouble. And again, he escaped it. Then he allows the one walk. And there's a home run. Now it's a two nothing ball game. You're right. Pirates were up one nothing. You let one get away. He did finally, you know, walk did cause damage. It did hurt him. Right. He did give up a walk. And then immediately followed right immediately. So now it's a two one ball game. He allowed the lead to escape him at that point of time. But still, you know, he fought through with his lack of command. I mean, it's said, you know, you in 30 starts, you're going to have 10 excellent stuff starts where your stuff is really on. You're going to have 10 words. It's fine. You know, that's just how life is. It's only picture of stuff isn't on. How do you fight through as you're alluded to your dog? And again, today I felt like that's that's what you saw from Baba. Yeah, it's I mean, again, it's one of those all we can ask for given given how he didn't have his stuff.

When he gave up that home run, I thought, oh, no, here he goes. You know what I'm saying it again. Right. Sort of gathered and just like, right, sort of gathered himself. I liked Pedro Flores going out there. Did I say Pedro? Rapha, Rapha Flores going out there when they. You're four in the amount to if he wants. Yeah, Pedro, you're more than welcome. You know, Henry Davis would go out and then the floors would go over there too. Because Flores his condom is last couple of starts. And, you know, I just thought that was kind of cool that they're developing a rapport. And yeah, it's, you know, it is in all hands on deck situation here. So if he's got something he can offer or whatever, if he if he's able to get through to. You know, great. Because I don't have a lot of faith in our coaches. So. But on, but, but yeah, and I think that is kind of important. Like Baba has. He said on broadcast, but he has. He's given props to Flores is his catching growth. We've talked about his growth behind the plate as well as a catcher.

So, you know, since you have two catches out there, it was nice seeing them both there. Not that Flores was doing a whole lot of talking. And no, he was just. That's not his place, but yeah, it's good to hear and listen. What's going on, right? Maybe you can talk in the dugout or something here and there. But yeah, I mean, Baba does throw 90 pitches today. 52 for strikes together. We're talking about only 58% was for strike. So he wasn't really giving his pitches, wasn't finding the zone too much like he did his last start and more. But he bought through it today enough to allow the parts to have a chance to win. You know, he comes out of the ball game. And then Carmen comes in and bases reloaded. Like bases will I mean, you don't. It's a tough situation. Carmen is going to come in and get the final 12 unscathed, you know, so he does allow a sack fly. Now it's a tight ball game. Now. Baba gets his third and run on them, but then Carmen does finish the inning. He keeps it. He keeps it within strike.

I actually know is I guess it was four to two at that time, right? Yeah. Because the Pirates is score more. Yeah. So again, I apologize. It was four to two at that time when Baba left. Then Carmen comes in, gives up the sack. It's a four three ball game. Then Baba. I'm sorry. Then Carmen gets the final out and right. They lead still intact. Talking about karma a little bit here. Carmen coming in. It's a big jam. Right. There's a big spot here. If you want to win this ball game to get out of it, Carmen does his job. And also once again, Carmen throwing 1.2 innings. It was more than just one, but you know, it's not the three that were kind of a custom to see from Carmen. Right. Yeah. Being used more like a reliever, you know, than a spot starter or whatever. You know, maybe he and his agent sat down with Ben and decided they wanted to try something else. I don't know. But yeah, I mean, they're using him how we needed him to be used all your loan, especially when he first went to the bullpen and the bullpen was having all this struggle and he was pitching in 11.

Zero wins for three innings. You know, that was just stupid. This again, he he is a multi in and guy. That's why you want him in the bullpen. His versatility that he can give you a couple of innings. He can give you high leverage innings. He can come in with bases loaded. And you know, that that's where he has been at his best. His entire time as a major league pitcher. And it was it was nice to see. I wish, you know, you just don't know what it's going to be. But it was nice to see today. He did a good job. I mean, again, you come bases loaded and one out. It's it's it's hard to expect. That he's going to get out on his case. Right. And obviously just an hour can score a run like that. Right. No, of course. And actually, I did take it back. Bubble was not the one that walked to get the bases loaded when. Carmen came in. They walked. Conforto to go after. Yeah, he started out. And he went three in the one on them. And then they said, all right, just walk him. Yeah.

Right. And it worked out. It worked out in the favor for that. That. That decision. So, um, yeah, like it's just one of those situations where it just thinks because, you know, you're seeing. Carmen going back into this role that he's been so good at, you know, for his, his career. I mean basically the past two years before this. When he was in this role, not starting this is why he's such a weapon. Carmen is an absolute weapon in this role when he gives you the ability that if you need to for it. You know, it's not like a weapon. But if you're just using it for two, I mean, if you're using it for two, in the three, right, whatever the decision calls for. He can go out there and he can succeed in this role and that's what he's been doing. You know, I. He did what he did. It is what it is, but now he's going to use back in this more traditional like you are a reliever. What you do when needed upon. He's been out here and he's been excellent. And again, it didn't stop with him. You know, I mean, the whole entire bullpen was solid. we know what he was before the trade.

We know what he was after the trade. You hear he has a issue of poison ivy. Hopefully those the ivy and it rickley's okay. I didn't say no getting there that right. Right, right. But he's looked, he's looked better. Hopefully he's been treated. Hopefully he's getting over the poison ivy but he's looked better up late. And today he goes out there for a one, two, three, clean, hay, thing. Yeah, I mean, he looked as advertised. This is the Luke Weaver we expected again. You know, probably the best set of man and major league baseball over the past couple of years. It's not exactly what we got. We see there's some extended wedding circus offenses. As usual with the pirates, they're unusual circumstances. It's a very priority thing to do that, you know, our picture comes with the worst case of poison ivy ever. And he can't sleep. Just only the pirates man, only the pirates, but you look good. Yeah, yeah. You get the most coveted reliever in an M.O.B.

and he comes over and he's like, I got poison ivy. I can't, I can't, I can't, my arms, I can't sleep. It's the pirates, the pirates. Yeah. So, so let's do this. Let's cut away, tell you about our sponsor, of course. We'll come back and talk more about this game. But a lot of people that I know use, actually, let's go ahead and yeah, Doug, you got yours, right? Oh, I can get there right here. Hold on. Because you know what? What are you doing that? Yeah, he's just not just slinging things around. He doesn't know about. He goes out there and he gets addicted to nicotine. Just for you guys. Yeah. He puts his life at risk. Yeah, I now have lung cancer and no. If you're like me, you have a lot of things on your mind.

Hey, it's Kelly Rowland. You may not know this, but I have XM. So I get how it can steal your time. But why let XM take over when you can talk to your doctor about Epglis? Epglis, Lebrichizmab, LBKZ, a 250 milligram per two milliliter injection is a prescription medicine used to treat adults and children 12 years of age and older, who weigh at least 88 pounds or 40 kilograms

Paid partnership with Lily. Respect your time. Ask your doctor about Epglis and visit epglis.com or call 1-800-LilyRX or 1-800-545-5979. See that, guys? But, so we'll talk about money mace and shutting this down here a little bit. I do want to get back to the offense, because again, it started out quickly. As mentioned, conagriffin gets on base with a hit. Oh, no, cruise gets on via walk. Bride, right? Interrupt your real quick and ask you, what do you think of cruise and griffin at the top of the line?

Or griffin and cruise at the top of the line up like that? You're asking me what I think about the two callus at the top of the line up, Doug? That's exactly what I'm asking. I'm asking you what the two callus is. I like it. I like it. I mean, honestly, especially at this point of time, early in the season, it might be a tough task to ask conagriffin hate, lead off. Right? So him being down the order makes a whole lot of sense and such. And I've also liked, oh no, cruise being at the top of the order now, this line up is a little bit different than yours past. So maybe he's not as needed to be the lead off guy. It might have helped benefit at him to be a lead off guy, because he might actually see some pitches in swing-at. But regardless, now that Conor has found himself as an MLB player, and I think he looks pretty competent, I like him at lead off. And I like cruise behind him because he can be your RBI guy. But you have two. I mean, special athletes, one and two. That's a lot of speed. Exactly. I mean, I love cruise, especially versus a lefty right now,

then being one, two, absolutely. Yeah, yeah, I like it. He did it on Friday, then did it yesterday, and then did it again today. But if cruise can continue to hit lefties, and we just never know what he's going to be from next season. But man, that could cause a lot of havoc on the base pass and put pressure on teams immediately. And yeah, I would love to see it. I mean, again, there could be all sorts of other mitigating factors. But man, it would be hard press for me as a manager, not to want to do that as often as possible. That's exciting. That's exciting because that puts a lot of pressure on the pitching because both guys look as if they can hit both guys. I think are not going to say a lock, right? But both are an absolute threat of 40-soul and base potential. Absolutely. That's the talent they possess. And that's your one and two. And I'm sure I'm giving another year of conno-gryphin,

and him filling out even more. What is going to be at the old age of 21 next year? The power speed threat that they both possess, absolutely. And again, today they didn't really show that per se, but they've been good hitters. They've especially versed lefties. And as I opened up talk about with O'Neal, he has. And yeah, conno-gryphin, he gets on by a hit. O'Neal walks, one of his three walks today. And then Brian Reynolds hits Conor in. Now, Cruz gets down on third, and they hitting it. Ends, but, but, but, like, when are them bulging? Start off. Immediately, you have a lead. Yeah, you immediately put pressure on the other team. Cruz got thrown out, but I don't mind it that much there. I mean, he paused a little at second. He should have just, if you're going to go, go. But again, you're putting the pressure on the defense to make the play. And with his speed, net lettuces, they got to be perfect.

So, and the Cubs now, the Cubs often are perfect defensively. I watch them play, and I'm so envious of how good they are defensively. But most teams, you're very good today. Oh my God, break. And yeah, oh, could we use that kind of glove at third base, especially, as he can. He can. I think that's, breakman also has a bat. Yeah, yeah, 805 OBS. Yeah, taking. Yeah, but, but you're right. And I get, not the, not to go too deep on the Cruz, that's one of those plays where like, yeah, you want to see it done better, but I'm not going to harp on them. It just is one of those, it is what it is, you know, you're going to live up to 70 out of 10 times. Yeah, right. And again, like with this speed, like, seven out of 10 times, he's probably safe on that. Doesn't mean it's, it was the right play, or it was, he executed it well. But we talked about why he's, you know, him and Connor one

and two. I mean, the talents and the athleticism they possess. Again, he's probably safe sitting out 10 times. That one, right. And it's definitely, if you're going to back those two guys at the top of the lineup, you're going to want them to be aggressive. And you know, it's that simple. You're just, you're going to want, and, and when you're being aggressive, right, you're going to run into some mistakes. And so, that's okay, right? I mean, again, like you said, seven out of 10 times, it might be eight out of 10 times. So, it could be. Yeah, yeah, you know, and, and you'll find it was a great throw. It was a great, it's a, yeah, and a tag, and it was a big bang. Yeah, a couple of big, big plays. Yeah. And the, the, the one to first he was called out on his challenge. I mean, that, you, I don't think you can, got that, how to truly get any closer than that play was. Yeah. Like you really couldn't tell whether you're safe or out, right? And so, yeah, he can't overturn it, but man. Yeah, it's, so yeah, they're, they're very good defensive playing. We do this against some of the other teams we play. And, you know, he's standing on third, no problem.

And maybe they overs throw it and then he trots on home. Yeah. Yeah. And then later on the game, Nick Gonzalez comes up. There's two guys on. There's what Brian Reynolds and Raphael Flores and Doug, the stupid, stupid ballpark with a stupid, this terrible landscape. They have Ivy on the walls. Nick Gonzalez hits it, well, just a double and scores just one because it got caught in the Ivy. It's a book rule double. That easy scores too. That is what made it the four to two ball game. But it's like, it's unfortunate because like, the easy could have had five runs today. Right. That could have been another. Yeah. And any other ballpark, we know we love doing it. It would have been a home run at 16 to 30. This would have been a run in 29 of 30 ball parks. Right. Now, I know we're, I'm not that charmed. I'm not that charmed by the Ivy. I've got a relief pitcher who can't sleep.

And, you know, and I've got a, yeah, this game was in late, hopefully April to five to five, five to game. Exactly. But now I'll say this, bubble is helped a little bit by the win today because there was a couple that probably could have gone out that got held up. So I guess all things is fair in that sense. But yeah, Nick Gonzalez comes up, he hits that double. Pirates again, it's, they got four runs. They went four to three offensively again. It was in an outstanding game. Jake Mingum also went two for three today with a walk. He was on base three straight times, had a double at the end there with two outs, you know, got stranded. But right now, it comes up as well. And I want to say this because this is a big, important at that. Because Trillo is due up. And again, your situation was what the sixth inning I think, you're fighting.

I didn't see the game yesterday. I was traveling. I kind of followed along with what you guys were talking about seeing here. I know the odds are, I mean, the odds have been diminishes. It is, right? But you're still fighting here. Every game is a playoff game, right? There were some bad decisions made yesterday. This is a big moment. Jeratriol is up. They put in brain allow. He comes through, which I don't think anyone's arguing this. I think everyone said, yeah, this is easy to handle. And but to talk about it was like, yeah, I mean, it's just six thinning and like they're already going to the well here. And it came out very fruitful. He comes up pinch hit to our B.I. Yeah, I mean, I hope they reassign it. I don't think they will, but I sure hope they do. He's, him and Ryan O'Earn have been such great, great additions. These are professional grown up mature ball players.

And they have good at bats. They rise up in big situations. They're not intimidated. They don't get flummoved. It's, I mean, you just feel good when they come up to bat. I mean, again, they're still baseball players. They're going to hit 260. You know, I mean, it's not, you know, they're not Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays or anything. But, you know, when they come up, I feel like this is the, you know, the about the best situation we can expect in this, you know, I feel much better about them seeing Friolo or, you know, Henry Davis coming up with runners on. I just hate hearing that. Yeah. So, yeah. Yeah. I mean, so, yeah. Yeah, he was going over for today. So, right. Yeah. Yeah. Although, like we've said earlier, if that home plate was 120 degree angle, we probably had another home run today. Yeah. So, nine degrees. I wonder if you're glad to hit the opposite field. And you know, again, he did what, like, six games ago? Oh, that's right. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. And maybe it'll be a little, a blue moon.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't understand how he's being coached, but that's a whole other, that's a subject for you guys to talk about tomorrow morning. What's not? But, ended of day, offensively, Pirates had nine hits today. They had five walks, seven straight counts. So, again, it was a solid, they did enough to win offensively. But now, again, awful, three. I left hand to pitcher, but an awful pitcher. But also, it doesn't matter. It was left handed. Yeah. So, every single one looks like a sight young winner. They went out there and they got a victory against one today. But, as mentioned, go back to Mason Montgomery. It's a four-three ball game. He comes in and a dog at this point of time. I mean, how do you feel when Mason Montgomery comes into the ball game? Like it's in the bag. I feel that confident. I have no doubt. I have no seven pitches. He Dennis Santana did. He, I mean, it was just fantastic. I mean, he stopped.

Don't say that dog. No, Dennis Santana was good for quite a while. He did prime apex. Don't, right? Where's the T-shirt, you know, that sort of thing. And again, just looks like a guy that's been doing this his whole life. It doesn't matter. One run. I mean, he's not coming in with a bunch of free run leads. He's saving one run lead games and doing a just phenomenal job. I mean, terrific. Yeah. I'm, you know, Brown keeps talking about the cool customer and all that stuff. And, you know, he's right. He is. I mean, he just does not seem like it doesn't seem you can't tell if he's pitching in the second inning or if we have a 12 run lead, you know, it's just, it's all the same damn and he's great lights out. What a great development for this team. He has absolutely been lights out. Again, the last time he's given up an earn run was July 26th. And that was a long time.

July 26th. That's the last time he's given up an earn run. Yeah. Almost three full. Yeah. I do want to stay on brand. So that is a good day. 2020. Point one innings. He's thrown without giving up an earn run. Yeah. That's just unbelievable, right? I mean, it's, I'm surprised we're not hearing more about it. That's a long stretch. Yeah. It's, yeah. I can't just ridiculous. And in that time frame, he's also. I'm sorry, 30 strikeouts and four walks. Yeah. I mean, I don't know if we can actually label him dope per se, but. He might be one taking this over. I mean, it's certainly efficient. Maybe not efficient because it's always like a seven pitch out. Because again, it gets a strikeout. So you know, though, at least three pitches. Yeah, yeah, straight out. He gets some workouts. So it's nice.

It's nice that it's the antenna s dope, but it's a nice thing from your believer. No, like he can come in with guys on base and he can get strikeouts. I mean, that's a, that's a nice, nice thing to have there in the bull. Yeah. And yeah, he's just, he's been great. I mean, I think there was just 13, 13 say was, I mean, he has not been the closer that long. And well, it's been his 11th in that scoreless time frame. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, 13 on the year. I mean, that's 13. Yeah, I don't know. 13 say is for a guy who again, when we saw a pitch in the first game of the season, or like, I don't want to see too much more of this. You know, so, you know, I think he walked, he walked more, you know, three guys in that first game of the season. He's walked four in the last three weeks. I mean, what? Yeah, one that I have. He's walked four in a month and a half. Right. It's just, yeah. And it doesn't look fluky. I mean, you know, things can change at a dime for sure, but this does not look fluky. I hope he continues the scoreless for the rest of the season.

Let's just, and I just finished dominating and 100%. Yeah. 100%. And now, up to the ballgame, like you mentioned, the seven, any, or seven pitch inning, done game over Pirates win. So Pirates win, you guys win. You know the deal. If you haven't got your hashtag raised, it's in yet. Please go and do so. Let's go and bring up the, uh, donate, donate down. There's a bunch of things to tell you to do. But the most important is to donate to the Roberto Clemente Foundation for supporting the Roberto Clemente Museum. I don't know Jim, you know, now that he's just traveling the world on weekends going to see the reveal and whatever else he's doing. He's not as available, but whoever's with Denardo, they'll, they'll be great tomorrow. I do believe he'll be Jim. Okay. Still watch, still watch, okay? You know, just because Jim's coming, there's no reason not to tune out.

I want to please tell you. Hey, the other side, Tyler won't be there. That might draw more people in also. No, Tyler, I mean, Tyler is like a team beat, you know, superstar. They love him. No game tomorrow. Okay. Yeah, no, we'll be back Tuesday. I think every Monday now going forward, it's been an update for the Pirates. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, yeah, we'll have offbeat tomorrow. Fuck a Brutamaro off day till they get the, uh, um, brewers. Sorry. Mine. Mine went blank. But yeah, so let's go ahead and give away this. I think everyone's got the raise it's in now. Multitimes unless you're gyms that who just gets pissed off every year. And Paul, Paul, Paul, Paul, Paul, Paul, Paul, everyone. I don't think so. I don't think so. Never ever ever ever. Ever. I, I, you have to admit it. Paul, you were here to have you ever. I don't think he has. He's never won out of time that.

You know, I've participated. If Paul's never won, that's fantastic. That's the Neil curves. That's for hating Neil so much. That you've just been cursed and never win sandwiches. I think it written apology to Neil and Derek Shelton. And that will remove the curse, but we've got to get it in. Well, hey, everyone Jim Rosadis is one. Paul, you know, I love you. Thanks, Jim. It wants again, Jim just ruins everything. Well, speak of ruining everything. Don't ruin this. Go ahead and click. Donate. We're again, we're collecting. We're donating through Roberto Clemente Day. This is a good cause. The first short. So with that said, we will get out of here. We'll see you tomorrow morning. And then we'll see you Tuesday on Roberto Clemente Day. Case you guys didn't notice the Steelers one. I'm, you know, I'm sure you were glued to the pirates and have no idea what happened in the Steelers game, but they did win. Yeah, there's their defense has given me like half of my points. And that's not in a good way. Yeah, right. We're not talking about what we're talking about. We agree.
