There, he spotted a large silhouette at the tree line, roughly 40 yards away, standing nearly eye-level with him despite the elevated porch. As a seasoned officer, he was accustomed to high-pressure situations, but this figure left him frozen and unnerved.The encounter lasted only seconds, with the figure snorting loudly before retreating into the woods, its departure marked by the sound of breaking branches. The officer felt no direct threat and chose not to aim his weapon, sensing the figure's curiosity rather than hostility. Unable to sleep, he later drove to his station and met a county deputy who casually mentioned reports of a large figure in a ghillie suit in the area, referring to it as a recurring presence.
