POSTCAST: EMBARRASSING Display With The Bats, Mets SWEPT In Doubleheader AND Series

The New York Mets scored one run in two games and got swept in a doubleheader to fall 10 games below .500. 

Offense continues to be the story, or nightmare, for the Mets. They scored 1 run in the two games of the doubleheader, four runs in the entire series and were shutout for the 5th time this season in the 2nd game of the doubleheader. 

The Mets also lost a Nolan McLean start, which can't happen if they want to dig themselves out of this hole. It was also another rough outing for Kodai Senga, who couldn't even complete three innings of work.
