The Diamondbacks’ playoff hopes took a devastating hit in Tuesday’s loss to the Giants. Zac Gallen battled both San Francisco’s bats and a tight strike zone from home plate umpire Doug Eddings, digging the D-backs into an early hole they couldn’t climb out of. Arizona’s offense never found its rhythm against former Cy Young winner Robbie Ray, falling short once again to the hottest team in the National League. Jesse Friedman from Snakes Territory joins the show to break down whether this defeat marks the end of the D-backs’ postseason dreams.
