Prescott Offers Free Shred-A-Thon to Fight Fraud

The City of Prescott, in partnership with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Yavapai College, and AARP, will host a free Shred-A-Thon event to help residents safely dispose of sensitive documents and reduce the risk of identity theft and financial fraud. The event will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until the shred truck reaches capacity, at Yavapai College’s Prescott Campus, 1100 E. Sheldon Street.
