Press On and Remember: You Are a Child of God - A Nighttime Prayer

0:00Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the gold for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians chapter 3 verses 13-14. Heavenly Father, we honor and praise your holy name. You alone are the one true living God, creator of heaven and earth, and all things visible and invisible. Your perfect design placed us on this earth exactly when and where you want us to live and serve you. Help us to persevere, remembering that you are always with us, even when the way looks cloudy or uncharted. Give us your holy wisdom, discernment and revelation, as we step forward in your name. Help us not to grow weary in doing, but to continually keep our eyes on you. You are the author and finisher of our faith, the Alpha and the Omega. Thank you for sending your only son Jesus, that we might have the perfect example of

1:02perseverance according to your will. Jesus, thank you for sending your holy spirit, that we can hear and be sent and trained up in the way that we should go. Help us to press on and point others to you, Father. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
