On May 1st, Princess Sophia of Sweden stepped out for her father-in-law, King Carl Gustaf's

80th birthday bash, but she kept a low profile, under A. Why Blue had that hid most of her

The event marked the King's 50 years on the throne, the first in over a thousand years

of Swedish monarchy history.

Sophia joined Prince Carl Philip in their kids, 10-year-old Alexander, 8-year-old Gabriel,

5-year-old Julian, and 1-year-old Inez for the traditional mass and flypast.

Earlier this week, Sophia finally addressed her past ties to Jeffrey Epstein, emitting

she met the convicted sex offender at two social events before, joining the royals.

She stressed she cut all contact after that and feels grateful for it, sending thoughts

to his victims and hoping for justice.

The Epstein connection dates back to 2005, when a Swedish businesswoman introduced the

then 21-year-old Sophia, a former glamor, model and reality TV star, from shows like Paradise

Hotel.

They crossed paths in New York Nightlife, but Sophia turned down invites to his private

island and acting school offers.

Recently unsealed US files from February listed Sophia as Epstein's companion for a 2012

movie screening and dinner in New York.

Though her team says she was in Sweden that day and had no idea her name was there.

Swedish media dug into leaked emails showing Epstein's interest, but she never went further.

All this stirs up Sophia's wild pre-world days, from topless modeling to nightclub scenes,

before she married Carl Philip in 2015 and settled into family life.

She's moved on, focusing on charity, while the palace keeps things steady amid the spotlight.
