Raccoons Rescued from Car in Beacon Falls
It's May 1st.

Three baby raccoons got stuck inside a car and beacon falls, and animal control officers
had to swoop in for the rescue Thursday morning.
The mom raccoon has slipped through an open window overnight and stashed her fuzzy crew
inside for safety, but then the window shut tight, blocking her return.
She went wild scratching up the doorframe, rangart and paint job, desperate to reach her
little ones while the car owner spotted the chaos and called for help right away.
Officers arrived around 8.30 a.m. on Railroad Road, gently pulled out the babies without a scratch
and set them in a padded box with towels to stay warm.
Later check showed mom coming back to relocate her crew one by one to a safer spot, a solid
reminder to roll up those windows and secure garages, against clever wildlife moves.
