Race, class, politics: Manufactured divisions weakening America

This is Dr. Robin Armstrong on the Pulse with Dr. Robin Armstrong. Thank you for joining us today. It is, you know, it is a great day to be in America. It's a great day to be in Texas. Great day to be alive. I know some of you folks who are in other states think it's a great day to be there as well. So it's a it is a lot going on in our country right now and there's a lot to fight for. I'll tell you I am excited about our show today.

1:00I'm going to talk about America and in a crisis of culture that we're in today and I'm just going to just discuss some things today with with you just talking about where we are as a nation and I'm excited to discuss this because I think it's important. I think that it's going to be a it's an opportunity this time to really have an impact with our midterm elections. I think it's an opportunity to clarify some things with the opposition polar opposites of candidates that we have today. We're standing for a diametrically opposite values and they're making it very clear. So whenever you have clear choices it's always easier to just just make a choice and and you see where you stand as a nation as a state as a city. You know you see where you stand when you have these clear choices and America certainly is at that point now. We are there's a question that I

2:04really want to get into today and it's a question about who are we as Americans? Who are we? And and and what do we believe? You know I've had an opportunity to travel quite a bit and I'll talk about some of these travels in the show today but but when I think about other people and how they view the United States of America. Think about how they view us. It's very very interesting even amongst people who live here in this country. We're born here and so certainly we have a lot of people who are not born here as well but when you think about people who are born here you think about how they view America. Let's think about some of these different races, nationalities, genders, social classes. Think about a rural white American. You know how does this person see

3:05America today? I think we have a lot of we have some examples of this. We see it in our in our vice president right now. He wrote a book called He'll Billy Elegy that went on to become a motion picture. So and I've seen the movie. I've not read the book. My wife has read the book but it is he talks about his background in Appalachia. He talks about his rural white background in upbringing and there was a lot of there was drug use there and there was a lot of things and so how did he see America? How did his people, the people that he was around see America? And I think a lot of times they you know they they see it as as you know a lot of opportunities lost. I think that they see it certainly they see themselves as being forgotten. This was a demographic that President Trump did very well with because you know these folks are the some of the forgot people

4:07in our country. So they they they felt that way and they certainly communicated that in voting for for Don De Trump is the irony of ironies is that when you think about a a billionaire talk show host and certainly known as a playboy early in his early years from New York City being a representative of blue collar rural Appalachian values. That's pretty amazing pretty amazing that he could become the the workers President and so I think that's an amazing thing but certainly his background and his dad made him work in construction out at the construction sites and so I I think that those people saw something in Donald Trump that was very appealing and so that's why they supported him in large numbers and that's why he was elected twice as the 45th and 47th President and so I think it's a it's a big deal but I think those folks feel

5:09forgotten in a in a lot of ways you know I feel like they feel like the government really hasn't served them and certainly you see a lot of illegal coming in. Think about a black rural American now and so how does he see the country? And I you know I tell you I think that as a black American myself I think there's a lot of people who see our nation as um they see our nation as a as just as more of a racial nation. You know I don't think that most rural black people see this I think that they're trying to survive they're trying to get by but but but they don't see things has been fair to them there's a past history of injustice for sure and racism and segregation that African-Americans experience in the 60s and so that's that's a feeling that a lot a a lot of rural black Americans have that they've been forgotten as well but but they really have never been a primary um primary focus in this nation. You know they've been they've been forgotten

6:16they've been poor they lived their lives oftentimes these folks are are oftentimes religious and Christian and so there's strong people with a lot of strong values and I have a friend who grew up in rural Louisiana and he talks about how he he had to get up early and work and so these are people and I see this in rural white Americans as well they they're strong people they get up early they work they provide for themselves they provide for their families they're faithful people you know with with great values and and so what oftentimes they feel forgotten the blacks and whites feel forgotten and in the same way in a lot of ways you know what do you think about look at uh uh uh whites in the city and and what what do people in heavy urban areas think now now this is interesting because you you have a lot of folks who are from foreign nations in urban areas you have a lot of Hispanics in in urban areas and you have a lot of folks who are

7:23coming to traveling to this country from from overseas certainly the Biden administration allowed a lot of foreigners to come in here so they tend to congregate in the cities because those are opportunities now now a lot of these people who have strong values from their nation they come here for opportunity I can remember when I was I had the opportunity to travel to many foreign nations in certainly Africa everyone wanted to come to America they saw America as a land of opportunity they wanted to come here and work and and and and and and dig themselves out of poverty raise their family out of poverty they were very very committed to this and so it was a it's fantastic to see people who come here with that mindset because they see this as a land of opportunity and they just want to work and so oftentimes they live in conditions that are

8:23that are negative because of democrat policies and how they've affected our major cities and so but but a lot of these folks come here to work hard and a lot of we see that a lot of Hispanics Puerto Ricans in New York City Mexican Americans in in Texas you know we see them and and their view of America is generally positive they've come here from their foreign land where they were in poppourstion many times they send money back to their their their where they live you know you look at white Americans in the city and so these are oftentimes you know if they're college educated folks they're living there and they're working in the city and so you can see a lot of a lot of high-rise is coming up you see in Manhattan you see it in even in Houston Texas here in here in the state where I live you see a lot of gentrification taking place you see a lot of folks were moving to the city because it's more convenient and so they're here and they are they're

9:25taking advantage of the city resources and the city services and they're going to the theater and you know these are folks who have a lot of money and who are college educated and so they really have an idea of America oftentimes these folks are liberal in in their mindset and so they they they don't value America they you know white Americans oftentimes feel feel guilty a little bit about about past injustice is done to other folks and and so these are oftentimes liberal and they they don't they just don't love the country don't love America don't value America they're they they just see it as as as you know a nation that is in racist a nation that is is not that value women a nation to you know so you see grievance after grievance after grievance I see this a lot in cities amongst my you know my white colleagues who were who were in this living in the city certainly there are

10:26conservatives there as well look at white females the same thing white females by and large elected Zoran mandami mayor of a New York city you know on this in this white educated class that is usually affluent and usually prosperous usually well educated they oftentimes will elect very liberal leaders and so we see our cities that are that are unfortunately and decline because of this philosophy so so these are folks who are prosperous themselves but that they have a liberal philosophy and and so they don't suffer the consequences of their bad policy I see that all the time they they are you know they they don't like close borders but they live behind walls and vases you know they have security you know they don't like guns but oftentimes they have an armed security guard guarding their their high high rise apartments and luxury apartments

11:31you know so they they they like to live in areas and that are protected and well insulated while supporting policies that other people oftentimes minority have to live with the consequences of these liberal policies and so these policies are just a luxury for them they they can believe whatever they want to believe they can do whatever they want because they're protected you know they're gonna they're gonna always you know shop in their nice grocery stores and they're gonna go to the theater and they're gonna be you know they're gonna have they're gonna insulate themselves to an extent that they don't have to suffer the consequences of their poor policies but they're gonna support them every time and they're gonna support the people who who are putting in place these policies and so you know I see that amongst lots of lots of white folks who live in heavy urban areas you know you look at our major cities today

12:34Los Angeles New York City San Francisco Houston Dallas Chicago Philadelphia Boston they're all run by by very very liberal mayors and and it's uh it's just a shame how we see these cities in decline but it's because of this liberal philosophy that is guilty of past injustices but at the same time they're they're supportive of these policies because they think that it is compassion and it serves others so these are the folks who are a socialist the irony in this is you look at a Zorn Mandani in New York City and he got elected by white educated men and women in these large urban areas and these large cities by and large black Americans did not vote for him in New York City they voted for the more quote unquote establishment Democrat he was also leftist as well but just not an avowed socialist communist you know they the Hispanic America as well did not vote for

13:39Zorn Mandani either so these white liberals are predominantly responsible for the degradation of our cities and and then certainly you know some of their colleagues who vote very liberal and it's it is uh it is not a it's it's it's just a shame he looked at black females and I see a lot of black females who are very angry today and and dis disinfected you know certainly they're a part of the the victim culture and and they they believe that they have been left out and so if you can take a white female who is angry because of policy she may call herself a feminist and she's angry because of some injustice that she perceives from the patriarchy which I think is interesting because it seems like women have gotten everything that they wanted in the last 10 years

14:42when when I say that I mean you know they have more women graduating college today they have more women and as professionals today women if you adjust it for time off and time worked women earn more than men today men generally die earlier than women and men earn less minimalist educated then so less less college graduates I should say not say less educated I should say they're graduating college at a lesser rate than women so we've gotten everything that they want it and so so but but still they they many times certainly white women cry victim to the patriarchy and you see the black women are also victims of the patriarchy as well but they also are victims of racism and so it's a it's a double victimization that we see off in times and so a lot of anger a lot of anger there and and so it's very very unfortunate and not helpful

15:46you look at black males of which on one I'm a conservative so I'm not the norm and I hope to be the norm one day I think that will happen but I am a conservative black male but but we have a lot of black males who are not and so you you see my class and and by a large you know unfortunately we're represented in in in much of the criminal activity that takes place certainly young black males and young adolescents are are are committing a disproportionate share of the crimes and that's very unfortunate there's a there's a lot of us who are who are working hard and doing well but I believe that there's a movement today amongst black males are becoming I think black males are becoming more and more um open to voting in other ways other than the Democrat party because of the failures that they see amongst the political class in the Democrat party today and so I

19:53that's exactly what we're talking about today we're talking about our culture and how people see america so i was going through the different groups earlier about just talking about how they see america and how they view america and americans and i i think it's just fascinating how different people view our country so you look at you know you look at conservatives in this country you know conservatives while those conservatives are rural americans i know that texas has a lot of rural texas who actually make this state conservative certainly houston dallas san antonio and austin or not conservative bastions those generally are very liberal and so the rural areas in this state are what makes this state conservative and so i think it's so important to to acknowledge that and so it's it's what we see in rural america by a large and conservative

20:54rule america as you see certainly you see people who feel like they've been forgotten but you there's a patriotism and there's a love for this country so these are folks who generally are not concerned with compare themselves with other people you know they're not worried about worried about past injustices and things that have been done what they primarily concern themselves with is taking care of their family and taking care of themselves you know they believe to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps and make sure that they are taking care of their responsibilities oftentimes these are people who go to church and i think i think church going people is what we need a whole lot more of in this nation today i think it certainly will change a lot of the a lot of the directions that that were going and so these rural typically white americans are faithful people who i believe they tend to vote conservative of what republican if they vote a lot of these folks don't

21:56vote at all because they also feel like the country's going to stray and so oftentimes they are they're demoralized and and and the media plays a part in working to demoralize them they want to make them sad make them believe think the country's lost and so so i think that it's important to you know to certainly look at these folks and understand you know where they're coming from because they are they they have a a perspective that i think is important for certainly us as Republicans we need to engage them and reach out to them and try to get them where i've given a gauge and and then you look at folks who are coming from other countries foreigners and so we see this a lot now Joe Biden allowed for millions and millions of undocumented immigrants to come in and so this is a large number of people that we don't know where they're where their values lie certainly they're not looking to assimilate you look at the large Somali community in in Minnesota and you look at how

23:04they've taken over Minneapolis and many of those communities you know with that mindset and so Somalia is a third world country and i had the i actually was in Somalia i was not in Somalia but i was in eastern Kenya which borders Somalia in 1993 it's right before i started medical school and and there was a young lady who was there in the Somali refugee camp which was in eastern Kenya that young lady's name was Ilian Omar so she was at a refugee camp and so i was at dogahali refugee camp in eastern Kenya and Ilian Omar was at one of those three camps at that same time she was a 12-year-old and i can remember working with Somali refugees and and their goal was to get here to America because they were so hopeful and and it was interesting because they were they were excited about the potential

24:11even meeting in American because it gave the opportunity that they could possibly come to America come to America to live and to experience the their version of the American dream and so i i thought that was interesting and and and then surely enough there were a lot of folks from those refugee camps that were able to come to America Ilian Omar amongst one of them and and you would think that she would have gotten she she clearly at the time was a young girl i'm sure her family her people who were older and with her had a mindset that while we got to get to America where we can live a better life this refugee camp was obviously poor and it was a it was a horrible situation there was you know it was unclean it was it was you basically were outdoor living and and it was yet holes dug in the ground as toilets and you had did have some running water which some of the

25:18either united nations unicef some of these organizations were out there providing some water for them but it was and it was hit or miss at times and it was in an operational zone where people were killed because they were coming over from the warrants that every now and then you'd have gangs or warlords in those countries come over and they would kind of rape people and in main people in fact there was a lady that was there with doctors without borders that was raped during that time and so it was it was a it was a hard place to be you know and we were there doing doing ministry we were doing sort of working that refugee camp we were teaching health care and we were ministering to some of the needs of the people that were there and you know we we I didn't immediately in a mom are there and certainly I wish I would have maybe I could have shared Jesus with her and it'd be a different story today but she she got the golden ticket she got the golden ticket to come to America and and she came here and you would have

26:22thought that she had come to a God for second place she actually left a God for second place her homeland and she came here to America which for her would have been the promised land and all she does is put this country down she's come here she's taken advantage of our wealth she is stolen from our wealth she has achieved great status here as a congresswoman she is a multi-millionaire and all she does is put this country down and talk about how we are a racist country and how we are a paternalistic country and how we are a selfish nation she consistently integrates the nation that saved her life and I just want to comment on that it says I was there I sacrificed time effort money to go to a refugee camp to serve her people

27:30she gets the golden ticket comes over here and all she does is serves herself she serves herself and her own interest and and she doesn't even properly serve her community all she does is steals from the nation that saved her I think this is amazing so this is part of the mindset of people who come over here they come here they take advantage of our riches they take advantage of our social programs and and then they they integrate the very people who who brought them over here and and and saved them from their own hill hole which is their own country and so I think that it's important to acknowledge that so we have a lot of immigrants who feel that way not all immigrants are that way you know tell you there are a lot of immigrants that I've met you know my my father-in-law actually is a is a Mexican American he came here and did it the right way he came here he worked hard he studied

28:37took pat you know filled out the citizenship application became a United States citizen and and worked hard for for the city of Houston all his life and he's retired now and he's saved his money he owns multiple homes one of which he rents out one of which his son lives in and he just and he raises his daughter well who is now a physician in my wife and so they have been an American success story this is the immigrant story that certainly needs to be told but there's another there's another side to this as well when it's done the wrong way as as in with the Biden administration you bring it they brought in a lot of criminals and they brought in a lot of people who solely came here they brought in the alien Omar's of the world who came here to exploit

29:38and loot our nation and put our nation down alien Omar has not added anything to this country she's been a negative to this nation and she continues to be you know all we would hope for and all we could hope for someone like her is just to say thank you thank you for bringing me here thank you for being a a a shining city on a hill that that me and my family could come to and live a successful life but all she does is put down the nation that saved her shameful shameful shameful a lot of folks in this country there's a lot of immigrants coming here today to destroy our nation and we see this a lot amongst the Islamic people who are here some people are coming here they work hard they benefit our nation they work in the healthcare industry and they're making having a positive impact and we we um extoll that we champion that we're happy about that but there's a lot of people

30:38who come here to destroy our nation they come here they put our nation down they speak negatively about it you know they're anti-submitting you know they they they they hate people of other races and their goal is to come here and just as Islam means submit their desire is for us to submit to them they want to conquer us they want to overtake us and and it is um is a plan that that they have and a lot of immigrants think this way and I I don't think that this is the majority but I think it certainly is a sizable number who thinks this way this is something that we have to be on guard against and so we laid out the the way I think a lot of people um a lot of different people view this country and I think it's amazing you look at Asians who come here and by and large they come and they put their head down and work you know they don't they don't

31:38come here trying to become political they don't come here trying to you know make a statement in any way they come here to work and you see the result of that they're very family oriented you see the result of of what happens they come here they work hard and with an agoneration or two you know they're they're the boss they're the CEO of a company they're the medical doctor or the nurse you know they're here serving our society making our society a better place and so people have different view of this nation but I believe that that man this nation has um this is such a blessed nation and I'm gonna give in the next segment segment I'm just gonna talk about my own experience and what I've experienced here and and how I believe that that my experience is a is a great example of just the greatness of this nation and so um it is a honor to be here with you today and be sure to make America out loud.News you're daily stop for all the latest news and

34:45i've ever gone to um we traveled up um to my son's college town college station this weekend and we stopped by buckees a couple of times on on there on the way back and so folks who were visiting here from the world cup for the FIFA World Cup they were infatuated with with buckees and with the size of texas with the size of our hamburgers and our food you know they would go into our grocery stores and and say oh my gosh this is you know you have everything here and so they they really appreciated just how incredibly blessed we are here in america and and they talked about it they talked about it frequently and so it was it was really neat to see that because there was one person made the comment that wow we we thought america was unsafe we thought it was it was a bad place to be our media tells us that that this is a horrible place to be that people are not friendly that they're rude and mean and they saw when they were here it was absolutely it was just

35:45the opposite that that america is a very friendly and welcoming place and i i believe that this is exactly what people see when they come here and it's also it's also something that that that people desire to get to and so i like i said i've traveled overseas and i've seen so many people want to come here to america they are so covetous of what we have here and so in our next segment we're going to talk in detail about how you know i'm going to talk about my story a little bit and i'm also going to just talk about this great country that we have and it's great um country of many races and many many many people many creeds and how welcoming we are and so it is uh honor to talk with you today i remember america out loud talk radio plays an i heart radio network and you can hear and also listen to our show on media player from any web browser in the world

38:52welcome back to the polls radio program with dr robin arms strong and so we've been talking about different groups of americans and and how different people feel about this country and what they think about america and and we're setting this up because i'm going to have some love to have some folks on in the future just talking about their perspective of america and what they believe about us and and where they are and so i've just um what's amazing about this country is that we have so many people talking with with my family you ask me as we watch the olympics we have a um you watch the olympics and we see all these people of many different races all over the world running and and competing in whatever sport they're in for the olympics and it's amazing to me you look at an American you can't never really sure about picking out an american there because you know we'll have an indian person that's that's you know playing cricket for america we'll have a

39:55you know white female who's swimming for america we'll have a black male who's running in track and field for america we'll have an asian who's um who's skiing or for for america and so it's uh it is it's amazing you never know who's an america because we have all these different races and that's something to be really proud of but we have to work on um on our culture and America and understanding what american culture is i think that is so important and we have to really really get back to what american culture is our our founding fathers you know they put together what they put together is an extraordinary extraordinary thing they they they they found it a nation and and obviously you know it stands to goes without saying that these men are not perfect no nation is but these men were intelligent they they they established this nation on a judeo christian

40:57ethic and mindset you know which says we're all sinners and and and we're all gonna you know be a stand up for our own interests and we're all gonna try to support our own interests and so that's why they set up a system of checks and balances our constitution is is an extraordinary document um you know with the bill of rights knowing that we we protect freedom of speech and our right to bear arms and freedom of the press and freedom of religion these are all freedoms that we have that are ingrained in our in our constitution and then we have all of our um government systems and how they're set up with checks and balances because we know that we can't trust you know one entity to lead you know the judicial branch has to check the executive branch which has to check the legislative branch you know the legislative branch

41:59has to check the judicial and the executive and so when you have these systems of government when you have these branches of government functioning in the proper way what happens is you know you have a system that doesn't allow one branch to gain too much power over the other is a system of checks and balances which is amazing you've got the people who elect our state house members and our state senators and and our state legislatures and and you've got you know judges who are appointed by the president federal judges you know and then you've got the states who are kind of the laboratories of democracy who will make sure that they they governed in a way that is right for their their their local constituents and so I think this is so important and it's just our government is set up in a way which has led to 250 years of prosperity in this country

43:00we have we have system we have systems in place to to do away with with with uh injustices and elite elegalities you think about our nation's founding in 1776 you know we were having a civil war in 1861 and ending slavery at 1865 so about 89 90 years later we were ending slavery in this country this country had slavery for 89 90 years we ended it with a very bloody and violent civil war where 640,000 men lost their lives and and we ended slavery many other countries denotions slavery in that way i'd say it is our nation has a lot a lot to be proud of we've set up institutions to you know we have franchised African-Americans over time we have franchised women

44:06and given them the right to vote and so so many freedoms so many liberties here in this nation and we're so blessed to to be able to to live in this nation so many differences of opinion you know we respect others opinions but but it is um it seems to be becoming more and more caustic more and more hostile this country is becoming more and more polarized because i believe that people use our differences against us they use our differences to exploit them and what I see happening many times in the black community as I see people exploiting the offense that was caused by racism that was caused by prejudice and was caused by true injustices in the past those injustices are being exploited for political purposes by by and large the democrat party but democrat party has to create division they have to create separation they have to pit one group

45:12against another to win because they are devoid of ideas they have no ideas and as far as policy proposals that are positive that are helpful for their constituents or the people of America as a whole and so because of that they work to divide us they they they they work to pit black people against white people so they're consistently telling black people that Republicans don't want them to vote which is foolish and they use voter integrity laws to save America act is is is being proposed this is an act that would require ID to vote it requires you to prove that you are a United States citizen to vote the democrats are in opposition to this why is that because they want to cheat they want to cheat on elections is exactly why it is and because and you know this

46:13because upwards of 80% of African Americans black people support having a night you having to have an ID to vote and you having to prove your citizenship large numbers and percentages of Hispanic Americans also desire for you to have to have an ID to be able to vote it's only the democrats that are in opposition to that why is that because they want to be able to cheat that there there's no other reason there's no other nor they thought behind that and so I say that to say it is so so important that that that we recognize these things that we recognize that listen the democratic party is not representative of us but what they do is they they stir up offense and they make people angry and they make people hate other folks

47:13you know I look at every incident and so I used to say that before every election as the democrats are losing on policy and their candidates are doing poorly in the polls what winds up happening is they will always find a racial incident and start to promote that prior to the election because they know that it will cause a lot of Republicans to it will throw them off it'll make them feel like like like they're like like they're racist and they make them feel uncomfortable and and therefore they won't support the normal Republican candidate that they would whatever otherwise support and so I think that is really really really important that I think that it's really really important that we as a society and that we as Americans who love this nation stand against the democrats effort to separate us that we stand against the democrat

48:16democrat efforts to divide us that we stand against the democrat efforts to call us racist call us homophobic you know our nation is so tolerant of other other people and other beliefs you know the irony is right now there's a very evil there's an evil alliance that is being formed with with those who support serial law and instituting serial law and those who support socialism and communism there's an evil alliance that is taking place it's called the red green alliance and I believe that it's important that we as Americans stand against that it will it's an alliance that takes advantage of of grievances against people you want to pit man against women women against men they want to pit you know genders against one another one over pit racial races against one

49:20another in fact they they certainly sow the seeds of racial division on a on a on a daily daily basis certainly the news media does this and and and they do the work of the democrat party in promoting that you know I can remember that Joe Biden made a comment he said that that republicans want to put black people in chains you see there's gonna a lot lot black people that want to put us in chains switches insulting to even think that that's that's possible for someone to do it's insulting that he would even say that but I know he doesn't believe that I know he doesn't believe that himself but he knows that he has to play the game of of making people angry and upset and disappointed and so it is shameful but democrats do this routinely you know they talk about they use immigration and the irony is that Hispanic Americans Mexican America's by a large are in favor of shutting the border because oftentimes they are the ones who are victimized of

50:26their the ones who are victims of violent crime which occurs on that border and so it's just it is so important that we resist the urge to be divided by political forces it's a one thing I've seen over time is that the the democrat party they accuse us of dividing Americans they accuse republicans of dividing Americans when in reality it's it's actually never the case and what I've experiences that usually what what they accuse us of doing they are actually doing and I have seen this on a consistent consistent basis you know I've seen them work to divide African-Americans work to to stir up political violence before an election I've seen them do horrible horrible things and you know listen I think a great example is in the assassination of of Charlie Kirk who I have the opportunity to to interact with and work with Charlie was a great man

51:33he was a great leader who I have no doubt would have been head of the republican national committee or maybe even president of the United States at some point but he was killed by a trans furry just a weird guy who was very intimidated by Charlie having an impact and I believe that you know when you're having an impact politically if you have an impact culturally and Charlie was certainly having an impact politically and culturally he was actually reaching kids on college campuses with the gospel of Jesus and with conservative political views and and when you were doing that when you're effective at that then you will absolutely be attacked and certainly Charlie was killed as a result of his effectiveness but I think it's so important that we raise up

52:34more young people who are as effective as as Charlie was and we have to do that we have to see a revival in this nation a revival of conservative values a revival of Judeo Christian values a revival of of a Jesus movement we have to see a Jesus movement in this country you know where people love and serve him and they give their heart to him and and so I think that that's going to be essential to seeing the change come about in this nation I'm excited for because I believe that God is doing some really incredible things right now it's just it's just need to see it's going to be very very exciting to see what God does and what I have seen is that people there's more young people that are coming in what I'm also seeing is that there's a lot of folks who were sort of young workers were coming into the movement I'm seeing a movement of praise and

53:40worship around all over the United States among young people and in some seeing folks who are more engaged and excited I'm seeing more marriages take place my 21 year old son just got engaged to his girlfriend and so I'm seeing marriages take place which is a good thing you know one of the I've had an opportunity to talk to some some couples recently and one of my messages to them is you need to marry you need to get married and you need to have babies you know we need good strong Christian moral people who are getting married and and having lots and lots of babies because I think it's important to to to build strong societies you have to have strong mothers and fathers who raise and train strong kids to to live for the live for their values and live for Jesus and to serve him and to serve others I think this is so so important and so I think it's make I think we have to make sure that that this happens we have to promote this you know we have a lot of

54:43projects that are taking place in fact you know these midterm elections are heavy heavy on my mind right now heavy on my mind in my heart because we cannot allow the the surreal activists and the socialist communist activist we cannot allow them to have a foothold hit foothold in our nation this midterm election is so important in fact I'm going to be talking about this soon we have a midterm convention first ever Donald Trump has called on the Republican National Committee of which I'm a part of to organize and have a midterm convention that's going to be in Dallas Texas on December the 9th and 10th I will be there I'm very excited about it so obviously the president the vice president many cabinet members will be there as well we'll have speakers on the evening of the 9th evening of the 10th and so it's going to be televised on Fox News it's going to be on Newsmax so very excited to have this midterm convention and what this midterm
