Radiant.
This is a poem, dedicated to Emirati Kanu, Aisy Food, Page Brekkers, Alexia Patelis,
and Paula Bedoso.
Emma slices the silence, a blade of calm thunder, lightning wrapped in white, once
swing, and the crowd forgets how to breathe.
Aisy rises, quiet as no-fall, then releases the storm, three-point whispers scorching
the net, Yukon's arrow unbent, unbreakable.
Page dances the floor like wind through tall grass.
No look passes, painting the air-gold.
She sees tomorrow before the defense wakes, the quiet queen who makes chaos obey.
Alexia commands the green, like a symphony conductor, every toucher note every rune crescendo,
ballendor heart beating under the blogger, she turns ordinary grass into holy ground.
Paula stands tall, as Mediterranean sun, forehand cracking like summer heat on clay.
Through valleys of doubts she claims again, resilient flame that refuses the fade.
Five different rhythms, one beating bulls, racket ball boot and will.
They move through pain, through cameras through time, carving their names where legends
align Emma, Aisy, Page, Alexia, Paula, not just athletes, living proof the grace can
hit harder than force, and fire can wear many colors.
