The Las Vegas Raiders keep building their offensive line in the second phase of NFL Free

Agency by signing 25-year-old guard Spencer Burford.

He joins after three years with the San Francisco 49ers, where he was a fourth-round draft pick,

number 134 overall, out of Texas, San Antonio, back in 2022.

Burford brings solid experience with 56 career games played and 38 starts under his belt.

He started 29 games over his first two seasons, but sat out starts in 2024 before bouncing

back with nine starts in 20, 25.

He drew interest from other teams, including a visit to the Los Angeles Chargers right before

heading to Las Vegas.

Fans and analysts see this as a smart depth move, especially with second-year player Caleb Rodgers

in the mix for a guard spot.

Burford already knows the new Raiders coach, Clint Kubieck, from their time together on

the 49er staff in 2023, when Kubieck handled the passing game.

That connection could help him fit right into the offensive scheme heading into 2026.
