Raise Your Standards

Bill brings up that Dan found AIDS trading cards from the early 90's at a flea market in Texas. None of the guys remember the AIDS trading cards that were made by a comic company to raise awareness, cards had drawings of famous people who died from AIDS, some living with AIDS and others who supported research. Bill talked about why he believes AIDS was not mentioned by President Reagan for a long time and something that he saw changed his perception of the "gay" lifestyle. Bill has two stories of old men from two different perspectives one sweet and loving the other angry and tragic, but Bill warns that just like the John Fogerty song the "old man" is down the road for ALL of us! Bill has a problem with people wearing their pajamas in public and thinks our casual wear is leading to many of the problems we are seeing today. Bill thinks we need to raise our standards, raise our personal standards, of dress, overall appearance, how we keep our homes, cars and yards. Have you ever known anyone who has had to fire a family member? The Jacksonville Jaguars Head Coach Doug Pederson cut his son Tight End Josh Pederson. Bill asks if the Bills have already fallen from the AFC East and AFC as a whole conversation, this gets Dan wound up!
