Rams' Draft Risk: Tyson's Talent vs. Injury Worries

On March 23, the Los Angeles Rams could target a wide receiver like Arizona State's Jordan

Tyson and the 2026 NFL Draft.

They've shown interest in top receivers before, trying to trade up last year without success.

Tyson stands out with his smooth, route running and ability to line up anywhere on the field,

making him a strong candidate to replace someone like Devonte Adams down the line.

Tyson's college season hit a snag with a hamstring injury that kept him out of the NFL

combine.

He hoped to shine at his pro day this Friday, with the injury flared up again during training,

so he'll skip that too.

His last game came on Black Friday, where he managed just two catches for 22 yards and

a loss to Arizona.

Over his college career, injuries have been a real issue for Tyson.

He missed 17 out of 51 possible games, including a torn ACL, MCL, and PCL in 2022, plus

a fractured clavicle in 20.

Before, that needed surgery.

Earlier in the season though, he torched Texas Tech for 10 receptions and 105 yards.

The Rams have shown caution with injury risks before.

Earlier this off season, reports suggested they passed on trading for AJ Brown over medical

concerns.

That history raises questions about whether they take a chance on Tyson.

In the end, Tyson could turn into the draft's top receiver if he stays healthy, but his

track record leaves team's wing big talent against ongoing, injury worries.
