Rams Re-sign Ronnie Rivers for Backfield Depth

On March 25th, the Los Angeles Rams are building depth for a strong push toward the NFC Championship in 2026.

They've re-signed running back Ronnie Rivers to a one-year deal, adding support behind starters, Kyron Williams and Blake Horm.

Rivers joined the team as a fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft.

He's appeared in 45 games over four seasons, but has seen limited action in the regular lineup.

That said, he steps up reliably when needed, with 72 carries for 295 rushing yards and no touchdowns yet.

His biggest impact comes on special teams.

Last season, Rivers handled 16 kick returns for 418 yards, averaging 26.1 yards per return.

Those skills are gold under the league's new kick-off rules.

Now a second-year back shark has hunter and undrafted free agent Jordan Waters also in the mix.

The Rams' backfield looks solid.
