Rams Re-sign Ronnie Rivers, Strengthen Running Back Corps

On March 25th, the Los Angeles Rams have resigned running back Ronnie Rivers, rounding out their backfield for next season.

With Kyron Williams, a three-time thousand-yard rusher, third-year back, Blake Corm, Sophomore-Jacques Hunter, and now Rivers' back for depth and special teams, the team looks set at the position heading into 2026.

Earlier reports suggested the Rams wanted to stick close to their 2025 running back group, and this move confirms that plan.

Rivers brings versatility, especially on kick returns, without the need for a high-profile addition through the draft.

Fans and analysts see this as a vote of confidence in Williams leading the charge again.

Corm could take another step forward in his third year, much like last season, while Rivers handles any gaps from injuries or rotations.

The wildcard is Hunter, who barely saw action as a fourth-round rookie last year with just five games and no offensive snaps.
