The Baltimore Ravens are shaking things up after an eight and nine season last year.

They parted ways with longtime head coach John Harbaugh and brought in Jesse Mincer, the

defensive coordinator from the Los Angeles Chargers.

Mincer's early moves focused on boosting the pass rush, starting with a big tray push.

That tray targeted all pro-edge rusher Max Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders, but it

fell through when Crosby failed his physical.

The Ravens quickly pivoted and signed all pro-edge rusher, Trey Hendrickson from the Cincinnati

Bengals in free agency instead.

General manager Eric DeCosta had hoped to land both Crosby and Hendrickson to rebuild the

defense.

Now, with Hendrickson on board, the team is eyeing more depth up front, drawing praise

for its aggressive approach to getting back to the playoffs.

Recent reports suggest the Ravens will pick all American edge rusher Ruben Bain Jr. from

the Miami Hurricanes in the 2026 NFL.

Bain had a standout college year with nine and a half sacks and fifteen and a half tackles

for loss, showing he can disrupt plays despite his shorter.
