The Baltimore Ravens just signed former New England Patriots safety, Jalen Hawkins,

to a two-year deal worth $10 million. He's expected to slot in as the number 3 safety

behind Kyle Hamilton and Ricky Maliki Starks. This move gives the team one of the most

athletic and versatile safety groups in the league. Hawkins had a breakout year last season

with the Patriots, starting all 15 games he played. He racked up 71 tackles, one and

a half sacks, and a team high four interceptions while logging over 800 defensive snaps. Meanwhile,

the Ravens often use three safeties on the field. On Hawkins brings play-making skills

from deep in the secondary. Hamilton tends to play closer to the line, so Hawkins feels

that center field role perfectly, ranking high among safeties and picks last year. Starks,

the first round pick out of Georgia, balances things out as a rookie. He started 15 of 17

games, with 84 tackles, four passes defended, and two interceptions, showing sure tackling

to offset Hawkins' 13 missed tackles over two seasons. Overall, this trio should make
