RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays complete the SWEEP of the New York Yankees

The Rays get their first sweep of the year, beating the Yankees 5-4. The Rays got on Yankees starter Cam Schlittler early. Scoring 3 runs in the first two innings highlighted by a Chandler Simpson RBI single in that 2nd inning. Rays starter Drew Rasmussen started for the Rays and was dominant. He went 6 IP only allowing 1 hit and struck out 7 batters. The Yankees would get to the Rays bullpen right away. Scoring 2 runs in the 7th inning to make it 3-2. The Rays would get an insurance run in the 8th and the 9th. First on a Junior Caminero sac fly that make it 4-2 then on a Taylor Walls bunt single to make it 5-2. The Yankees would make it interesting in the 9th inning with an Aaron Judge 2 run home run to make it 5-4. But the Rays would hold on to complete the sweep. The Rays will have an off day tomorrow and then head to Chicago to take on the White Sox starting on Tuesday.
