The Tampa Bay Rays offense comes alive as they beat the New York Yankees 7-5. The Rays offense was fantastic all day. Racking up 16 hits as they put constant pressure on the Yankees pitching staff all afternoon. The bottom of the Rays lineup was fantastic today. Travis Jankowski who hit 7th picked up 3 hits and 2 runs scored, and Taylor Walls who hit 9th had a 4 hit day! This victory earned the Rays the series victory. The Rays will head home to start a 6 game home stand starting against the Phillies on Tuesday night.
