RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays win streak gets SNAPPED by the Pittsburgh Pirates

The Tampa Bay Rays win streak stops at 6 after a 5-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Rays could never get it going in this one. After the Pirates took the lead in the 2nd inning to make it 1-0 it would be a pitchers duel until the 6th inning. In that inning Junior Caminero ripped a RBI single to tie the game. That Caminero hit would be just 1 of 3 Rays hits on the night. The Pirates big swing came off the bat of O'neil Cruz he destroyed a 2 run home run off Griffin Jax to give the Pirates a 3-1 lead in the 6th. The Pirates would add 2 more in the 9th to put the game away. The Rays offense could not gain any momentum after that as the Rays could not mount a comeback. Nick Martinez started for the Rays and battled. He went 5.1 giving up 8 hits and 3 walks but pitched around the damage to only give up 2 earned runs. The Rays will look to bounce back tomorrow night against the Pirates.
