Da: I skæret af de tidlige efterårsmorgener glødede bladene som levende flammer i alle nuancer af rød, orange og gul.
En: In the light of the early autumn mornings, the leaves glowed like living flames in all shades of red, orange, and yellow.

Da: Mikkel sad i toget, på vej mod sin barndomsby nær Odense.
En: Mikkel sat on the train, on his way to his childhood town near Odense.

Da: Han kiggede ud af vinduet og tankerede over sin beslutning om at rejse tilbage for at stemme i kommunevalget.
En: He looked out the window and pondered over his decision to travel back to vote in the municipal election.
