El: Την 25η Μαρτίου, η Αθήνα γέμιζε ζωή και ελπίδα.
En: On the 25th of March, Athina filled with life and hope.
El: Η γιορτή της Ανεξαρτησίας ήταν παντού, σε κάθε γωνιά της πόλης, και ο Δημήτρης περπατούσε με αργά βήματα στον Εθνικό Κήπο.
En: The celebration of Independence was everywhere, in every corner of the city, and Dimitris walked slowly through the Ethniko Kipo.
El: Οι ήχοι της παρέλασης ακούγονταν από μακριά, οι σημαίες κυμάτιζαν στον αέρα, ενώ γύρω του, οι τουλίπες και οι νάρκισσοι ανθούσαν.
En: The sounds of the parade could be heard from afar, flags fluttered in the air, while around him, tulips and daffodils bloomed.
El: Ο Δημήτρης είχε μόλις επιστρέψει από το εξωτερικό και αισθανόταν λίγη νοσταλγία.
En: Dimitris had just returned from abroad and felt a bit nostalgic.
El: Είχε λείψει τόσο καιρό και φοβόταν πως οι φιλίες είχαν χαθεί στο πέρασμα του χρόνου.

El: Η Ελένη, με το θερμό της χαμόγελο, και ο Θοδωρής, πάντα με ένα βλέμμα κατανόησης, τον εντόπισαν και τον χαιρέτησαν με ενθουσιασμό.
En: Eleni, with her warm smile, and Thodoris, always with a look of understanding, spotted him and greeted him with enthusiasm.
El: «Δημήτρη, εσύ;
En: "Dimitri, is that you?
El: Τι κάνεις εδώ;
En: What are you doing here?"
El: » φώναξε η Ελένη, έκπληκτη αλλά χαρούμενη.
En: shouted Eleni, surprised but happy.
El: «Ένιωθα ότι ήταν η κατάλληλη μέρα για να επιστρέψω,» απάντησε ο Δημήτρης χαμογελώντας.
En: "I felt it was the right day to return," replied Dimitris, smiling.
El: Η καρδιά του ζεστάθηκε αμέσως από την αποδοχή τους.
En: His heart immediately warmed from their acceptance.
El: Οι τρεις φίλοι κάθισαν σε ένα παγκάκι, με τις μυρωδιές των ανθισμένων λουλουδιών να τους αγκαλιάζουν.
En: The three friends sat on a bench, embraced by the scents of blooming flowers.
El: Μίλησαν για το παρελθόν, τις αλλαγές, και τις χαμένες στιγμές.

En: Maybe in this place, but with more time and less hustle?"

En: Dimitris agreed happily.
El: Καθώς έφευγε, αισθανόταν πιο συνδεδεμένος και έτοιμος να αγκαλιάσει τις νέες του αρχές στην Αθήνα.
En: As he left, he felt more connected and ready to embrace his new beginnings in Athina.
