Hello and welcome back to a brand new realm news flash.
I am your host, the Dark Lord.
The one who puts the real realm and expands your mind won't block at a time.
First off folks, before I get into everything, I just want to say that this realm news flash
number 80 will be posted today after the recording of the Minecraft live 2026 spring event.
And that will also be for the Tuesday.
So Tuesday's upcoming Tuesday's RMF is today.
So if you are wondering why I don't publish one Tuesday's because, well, this is it anyways.
And also folks, look forward to tomorrow at 10 a.m. central time for the official realm news round table where we'll be discussing this entire everything that happened here at the Minecraft live event here this our day with Michael T.B.H.
next and mint refresh, which will be very exciting.
Anyways, let's move on folks.
I have some things report on.
I just wanted to wrap up what we got here.
We're recapping the Minecraft live spring event 2026 packed with thrilling announcements, gameplay reveals and even some real world surprises.
Plus, I'll briefly cover the leaks that surfaced before the event.
So get your diving pickaxes and let's dig in folks.
Before we move on to the main portion of the show, let's address the leaks just hours before Minecraft live leaks appeared online from a user name at its WAM of the or WAM for short.
He is the same person who leaked the supposed Minecraft roadmap for 2025 to 2027 back in January 2025.
Now, I'll be real with you realm news isn't about leaks, we love surprises and leaks ruined the fun.
My advice block accounts like MWAMs, just go block them, type it in.
I'm not even providing a link because I don't want to promote them.
So you got to search MWAM, actually, I'll give you their user name at its ITS capital MWAM capital OFFI, it's MWAM 05, however you want to call it or it's MWAM offy, go block them anyways.
But that said, we're done with the leaks.
Onward bound to the good stuff, my friends, I want to go ahead and talk about the pre show a little bit.
Well, I pretty much missed the pre show.
I didn't catch it.
I kind of tuned in a little bit late and I apologize for that folks.
I'm not really a pre show for mid-report on, but hey, the real excitement started at 12 pm central time where the main show occurred.
And Jens kicked off the event, Jens Bergenston, welcoming players from around the world and highlighting new ways to enjoy Minecraft, his enthusiasm set the stage as always.
He first got into it with the tiny takeover, of course, we knew they were going to talk about this and I'm not going to get into it because I just don't want to.
But they did announce something new, which was the new multiplayer experiences and you can go get on Soulsteel and mob maze.
They're available to play right now on bedrock, then they got a couple of things like Treasure Hunt by Enchanted and an unannounced game from Starfish Studios coming soon.
Then next, we got the real world adventures, Minecraft Village Rescue, which is an immersive live action experience.
It's heading to Singapore, Mexico City, Chicago and Herning.
Then we got the Moonlight Trail, something different, which is the first outdoor nighttime adventure opening in Buenos Aires.
They expect interactive quests under the stars.
And then folks, another real world thing here, they're doing a lot of real world stuff.
We got the Minecraft world theme park, which has been confirmed.
Minecraft world is coming to London's Chessington world of adventures in 2027.
Attractions include the world's first Minecraft roller coaster, the biggest Minecraft shop ever, theme food and even meat ingredients with mobs.
But wait, there's more folks.
We also in this live event also receive a new drop, Dub the Chaos Cude, which includes sulfur caves, which are a study new bio with vibrant yellow and red blocks, inspired by real life hot springs.
But beware, noxious gases in these caves cause dizzying visual effects.
There are some new blocks in this drop, which are called Cinnabar, which are kind of this beautiful crimson looking block.
Not like the crimson in the, in the nether, sorry.
It's, I don't know, maybe a little bit richer of a red or maroon.
I don't know how to describe it.
Go check it out online folks, but it's called Cinnabar.
And then we got the sulfur blocks, which are going to be amazing for builders that who want those new aesthetics for their builds.
And then we got a brand new mob, which is called the sulfur cube mob.
And it's a slime like mob that absorbs blocks, changes its appearance and abilities and even affects in game physics.
Imagine sliding around like a giant hockey puck or using it in park cooler courses and redstone contraptions folks.
You're going to have fun with it.
Also, you can split the sulfur cubes, they'll split into two and then they'll grow into adult versions replicates.
So that's a new mechanic to the whole, like the slimes, even though these are called sulfur cubes,
they're still in the same family with the magna cube and the slime in the overworld, the magna cubes in the nether.
So we now we have slimes, magna cubes and sulfur cubes, but the sulfur cubes are only one that you can split into and allow those two little split offs.
Those those splices to grow up into adults and you can replicate that way, which is, I think people are going to have a lot of fun doing that.
Also, something I forgot to write down, but I just remembered is referring to those noxious gases.
Well, that's an interaction between the blocks, the sulfur and the water.
It causes a noxious gas, which I think they call potent sulfur, which is interesting.
And they really are beautiful caves, folks.
And I remember they mentioned in this in this live event that they want to make these caves feel more, even more three dimensional of a feel like how they spiral and stuff.
The colors, the yellow, the sulfur and the the the cinnabar red, which it really is a beautiful.
I really deeper it's almost blood red.
I want to say like a blood red.
Now that I'm looking at it right now and the sulfur looks like gold.
It looks like gold blocks almost.
I mean, you can't really tell a difference, but yeah, fair.
I mean, it's going to be down in the in the deeper caves, folks like this deep big caves that you encounter when they open up and they.
And you just venture into them forever.
But yeah, they're I think they're going to be sprinkled in as sub biomes into the cave biome, which is really cool.
I think it's going to be amazing to stumble upon this much color in such a dark environment.
I think go add a lot complexity, a lot contrast to the darkness.
And I think it'll be fun for players to see.
Anyways, I liked it.
Certainly better than baby mobs.
I know mint refresh has been he thinks that this is like the chef's kiss.
They they believe that this is like the best drop ever.
They're all for it.
I love that they love it.
I agree.
I DM them and I said, you know, it's way better than babies.
That's for sure.
But to me, I'm just meh.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I mean, I like it.
Don't get me wrong.
I do.
I'm I'm excited for it.
I'm excited to see what other things will be attached to it here in the coming weeks.
But yeah, I'm just like meh.
I think it's because I don't know if I'll be using the sulfur cube much.
I don't play many games.
I don't even play with multiplayer.
Uh, to me personally, the dark lord.
I could probably always see using the just as like just collecting it as like just to have.
But I don't see myself ever using a sulfur cube.
Because honestly, they don't do much.
They just bounce.
But in slide or whatever.
But there's a cool concept.
And I think it's I think it's mostly for multi players and SMPs.
I think it'll get a lot of use there and people playing many games.
Content creators going to have a heyday with this.
So I think it's a great drop in that in those regards.
Personally, for me, I wish I had something I could use a little bit more.
But who knows, I still like it.
And I'm glad that they added some complexity to the caves.
We needed it.
We needed some more stuff down there.
Next, I can't go without saying.
And we have officially received Minecraft Dungeons too.
Folks, it's coming out this year in 2026.
It's a brand new action RPG adventure launching like I said later this year.
It's going to be high stakes encounters, tons of loot,
fresh locations and co-op gameplay with up to three friends, I believe.
You can wishless it now and stay updated.
I'm going to leave that link in the show description for you all.
And with that said, folks, that wraps up what I have for Real News Flash Number 80.
I hope you enjoyed this deep dive into the Minecraft Life Spring 2026.
