It's March 31st, Durham news today starts now, a.i. powered and ready. Robert Plant, the Led Zeppelin legend, hit up Whiskey Kitchen in downtown Raleigh for dinner Monday night before his big show Tuesday at the Martin. Mary at a center. Staff got a heads up earlier that day from someone saying a famous, chill guest might swing by, and sure enough, Plant showed up to meet a friend for some food and drinks. The general manager said Plant was super nice, snapping photos with diners in the team, and even hooked some staff up with backstage passes to the Gillig. This ain't his first rodeo in the triangle back. Back in 2018, he crashed Garland after hours for late night bites, and in 2000, 11, he joined a charity dinner at Poll's diner. Plant clearly knows where to eat around here. Proving rock stars got refined palettes, especially with his 730pm show kicking off soon.
