Robinson's Pornography Addiction Confession

On March 21st, former North Carolina lieutenant governor Mark Robinson came clean on a recent

podcast about his long battle with pornography.

The Republican, who lost his 2024 bid for governor, confessed he lied to voters by denying

old offensive posts on a porn form.

He said that denial was to shield Donald Trump's winning presidential campaign from Fallout.

Those posts, from over 10 years back, surfaced in the September 2024 report.

After a fake name, Robinson made racist comments, back slavery, used slurs against various groups

and called Adolf Hitler's book, Mindconf Anne, Eyeopener and Goodread.

The revelations tamed his campaign fast.

Key staff jumped ship amid the uproar and Trump, once a big booster, backed away.

In November, Democrat Josh Dynne took the governor's seat by 14 points.

Last week on the podcast with a Florida pastor, Robinson owned up fully to the porn habit

and said ignoring the truth, then felt like the right call to, protect allies' races.

He now sees folks who beaten such addictions as prime helpers for others.

Robinson doubled down, saying he denied the post again for the greater political good.

With his career in ruins, he's framing recovery as the real win over past shame.
