Only 14% of cancers in the US are caught through routine screenings. Prenovos' whole body MRI may help close that gap. Screening for over 500 conditions, including most solid tumors, all in under an hour. Prenovos' body panels also test over 80 biomarkers for a deeper understanding of your health. No radiation, no contrast. Book your scan at prenovo.com. That's P-R-E-N-U-V-O.com. This is what 4-game stretch. Roman Anthony is the lead off hitter. He's been killing it. He's showing some power. Multiple doubles, triple home runs.
He's getting a ton of bases. That's great. I'll view that as a positive. Even though the pitching is falling apart right now and they lost the series. They really couldn't have gotten swept. But they ended up losing that series to the Mariners. Roman Anthony's showing up and being the Roman Anthony we kind of expected going into the season. That's a great sign. So I do think it's too small of a sample size to play this game. But they've been blown out in three of the four games with Roman Anthony and Trevor's story here. So I'm not telling you there's a conclusion from this. It's just is what it is. That's what's happened. The one game they won, they did battle back and win it. And we said at the time, I think it's really important to show the rest of the team that Trevor's story in Roman Anthony can come through in big spots and come from behind victories. Because the whole rest of the roster has been doing it all year without them. Definitely. Since they went down. But since then, nine, six kind of a fake come back in that one and then eight, three yesterday. And the game they came back for. They both had a bunch of hits. But they got destroyed 16 to one.
Now I got ugly at the end. Monasterio is pitching. But I think it's too early to draw a conclusion on that. But let's see. Are they just non competitive? Are they just going to be non competitive with these guys back? And this goes back to I think a larger team wide approach. We heard Brezlow this morning on the Greg Hills show as part of the front office report. Talking about whether or not they are load managing some of these players. And he said the answer is maybe. Well, which is a yes. Yeah. And then he went on to elaborate the way he talked about it. It's a yes. All the reasons why it is. Rushman, he said could have played if it's a playoff game. I know you're skeptical about that. Yeah. They're pushing back sunny gray. They just pushed back Jake Bennett. Contreras probably doesn't need to be on the IL, but they're doing that. They even took Ruff Illa out of the game early yesterday. And not that he's like been a mistime. I don't think, but they're they're managing a lot of these guys. And I'm worried they're losing their focus. And they have their eyes off the prize a little bit. And they they maybe just having their heads. Or somewhere subconsciously, we just got to get healthy. And then we can flip the switch.
Come October against the Yankees in New York. And I I just don't know Keith that a team that's this young. And this inexperienced and has played so much off of vibes and momentum this year. I don't know if it's a team that can flip a switch. And I don't want to play that game. September momentum may not be a real thing for most teams. I think there's tons of studies that disprove it. You can go in ice cold and win a world series. You can go in red hot and get swept. I think there's a lot of studies to prove that. I think with this team, I would feel a lot better about them if they go in on a high note because it does seem like they can get red hot at the flip of a switch. As long as they're playing well going into the postseason, I believe they could go on a deep run. But I do think they I think they could flip the switch. Meaning like they could be struggling, but then have a game where they come back and then I'm thinning and they're all going crazy. And somebody some other guy comes up with a big hit and they're open most and need some momentum. Maybe that pushes you. Maybe. Maybe I think what's more. What's been more of an issue over the years, I feel like is one of the team doesn't play for a while
rather than one of the team is like struggling going in. Meaning I said back to like the oh seven Rockies. Remember they were the best team in the history of like the last two months of the season. But then they got through the playoffs so quickly that they were waiting around for the red socks and then the red socks beat them. The last few years has been multiple examples of the teams with a hundred wins that didn't play in the first round were waiting for their opponent then got their opponent and lost. So the Red Sox are for sure going to be a wildcard team. They're not winning the division. They're going to be a wildcard team that likely going to have to be on the road, but at least they're going to be playing games right up until then. So I think that is better than like kind of like icing them out. The other reason why I do have and we'll see how this goes. But like at least for the next 10 games, I think the plan is to have real starters. Sunny Gray is going to be back a part of that. Ranger Suarez, Toly, Bennett's going tonight, Sandevol, it's going to be those guys. Some of the real issues that they've had over the last five games have been going with openers, maybe the Bay of Experiments finally run out. It's been guys that really shouldn't impact the playoffs roster.
If that was just a week to get everybody right. And now, as you said, Bennett tonight Suarez tomorrow, gray on Saturday, Toly Sunday, Sandevol Monday, Rinsh repeat and do it again. So that's pretty good. That's a lot different than Piaz and Gamboa and what they've been doing here over the last week. So if that's just a blip on the radar to get everybody reset, they skip Bennett a week ago. They're skipping gray or just skip gray. He's back on Saturday just to get everything right. No harm. No, that's the hope. And I'm not concerned about the missing the playoffs. Not at this moment. There's 22 games to go. There's six up on a playoff spot. Like I know we had the caller earlier all fired up and oh, you just think they're going to make the playoffs. And what about 2011? 2011 happened. And that team fell flat on their face. And I guess mathematically they could. I feel pretty good about their odds to getting in. It's a 97% chance of making the playoffs. So there's always exceptions to the rule. I guess they could fall flat on their face. I don't think they will. But I'm not going to feel great about this team. If they win, you know,
nine out of the final 22. And they're losing more series than they're winning. And they're not playing good baseball going into the playoffs. I personally don't feel great about their ability to flip the switch. Come October in the Bronx. But you tell me six, one seven seven seven nine seven ninety three seven. Mike is in the truck. He was following along on YouTube last night. Go ahead Mike. Very good. Yeah, the theme of last night was technical difficulty. I mean, guys are in guys around. Guys can hear you. I'm good near your. I would just be clear about what you mean by that. Just real quick because I out of the I confuse some people yesterday. I said, they totally yeah, people were in the draft and then were kicked out of the draft. And then returned to the right. I can't listen Mike. I can't be in charge of everybody's internet connection. But it's. But it's. It's it's it's going to be around working video and giving up. Give them a good show and be a work day. A man with a 30. I was. I was. I was. Mike Mike. There were a lot of there were a lot of trips to the fridge last night.
That's right. During during that draft. But listen, nobody was driving. Everybody was safe at home. Yeah. You want to have a couple of brew dogs. I didn't even leave my kid. I did want a tour of Jones's refrigerator. I didn't even leave my I didn't leave my kitchen. I was I was just a draft right in there. People did comment on the refrigerator and the microwave. Uh, yeah, Jones got some compliments on that. Oh, compliments. Oh, good. Oh, I think it's a nice microwave. I assume that's a compliment. I assume they made it. Yeah. I was like, we're a couple of married guys on this show. Keep a couple of times. No. I was not how I like the brag, but it was good. We had appearances by Stizz, uh, Davie, uh, Shaan Fitsy, who's there was a good time in there. People in the chat. I do want to point out Stizz and Ted are still co managing. Yeah, but Stizz, but it's his a squad. I mean, I don't believe Ted had any input on this. He just like he did a year ago. Yes, he did have the best draft. Wow. Ted is the Elliott Wolf of the scenario where he did not get the pick. I need the players actually. What did he say? A boxing class? He was taking boxing. Yeah, boxing class. That's what Ted needs. Boxing. He wasn't intimidating enough.
Let's get him into the boxing class. Like, Fitsy piped out a little bit when he heard that. Heading back to campus, timed web grade your entire tech setup. I just wanted to say, I'm so sick of the NBA tanking. And I have a really quick solution for that. Okay. I use that finish in the teams of finishing one through four, the worst records pick five through eight. If you are in fifth to eight, you get into the lottery. So they're fighting to at least get into fifth place instead of just tanking it all the way out
and sticking the fans with this poor play. And I think you're just kind of equal it out a little bit. What do you think? I could do it. Amen Scott. Please use your time as efficiently as we can. I'll say, say, send them to Justin's league. I was just going to say all sorts of. I'll say, all sorts of. Relication like us create a B league. Yep. A G league. A G league as it were. You go down. At the main Selvix. Best team comes back. Big bang boom. That's what they should do in all sports. Yeah. It'll make a lot of say it'll never ever happen. Never happen. What owner. You know, cheap ass bilchism just bought. You know, has been franchise. And then puts in six billion or raises six billion through B E money. Yeah. And now next thing, you know, you're playing with the red claws. Right. No, thanks. They're not going to sign up for it. Yeah. Should that be great. That keep everybody motivated to try and get their artists. Ultimate motivation. It would be the best thing for the fans. Yeah. It's not the best thing for the billionaires. No. So it won't happen. At least he didn't say like, oh, have like a tournament for the number one pick.
I hate when people say that. Because that's been an idea. It's been kicked around. I'm like, those guys wouldn't want the number one pick. They might be on either even beyond the team or why would they want their replacement. So I always were Jeff. If whoever wins the NBA cup, the number one pick. No. Hmm. Hmm. I did see this theory going around. I think Dan Greenberg, Stool Greenie, Bar Soul Sports. I think he said they should make the Clippers picks. Instead of taking them away, they should make the Clippers picks available to whoever wins the NBA cup. Oh, bonus pick. So if you win a pick for when a bonus pick from the Clippers in the five years, they lose the picks. I mean, the NBA players associations probably like, well, wait a minute. This is one less drafted player every year. Like they might fight for that. The reason Joey Porter Jr. wasn't a first round pick in the NFL. I forget who else. That's probably that's who was your right. Yeah, for their tampering with Brady, you're right. They lost the first round pick. Porter was the 30 second pick, first pick of the second round. Yeah, it's not good. You heard the players. You are 617779, 7937, more your phone calls. They're coming up at one o'clock. Mike Vrable scheduled to speak. I don't know the need. Is he asked about grounds of today?
I don't know that we need to carry it. But if he is, Keith, you don't think so? We'll be sure to get you his answers on Mike Vrable. You better be. You think about asking him the other day. Well, they at least have the in where they can be like, hey, you talked about Gonzalez maybe being a captain back in February. Wasn't a captain kind of thoughts on that. And he'll be like, well, it's just the players. Okay. So well, well, here from that, anything relevant he has to say coming up at one, we'll get back to the Patriots as well. Grab back on the way at 130 and it's Thursday 1245 means it's time for the madness. Keith or madness. Next. Back to campus. Time to upgrade your entire tech setup.
