Yeah, I don't mean to rain on our parade, but we're talking about a streak of two in a row with all of us. And by the time you guys are listening to this episode, all of our kids are back in school and we are likely sick by now. So don't count on three of us again in the next episode. No, it's good. Although we hope all that would bind you. Although we hope. So fingers crossed, you guys all know what it's like when kids go back to school.

1:03That's a person from school, right? Yeah. Yeah, that is great. No, but we're doing a whole lot. My kids get to leave home, so I get a little break. They don't co-op. So there's going to be plenty of. I am kicking my kids straight out of school, out of the house right now. Out of school. That is. Get out. Get out. Get out of the house quick enough. There's just weird void right now where it's like no club care, no school. Straight home with dad. Mike, oh my God. That's been me all summer, buddy. Oh, man. Anyways, speaking of having a dream job and being a stay at home dad, I want to give just a quick note. And I guess just, I say shout out, but it's not a shout out. It's more so just like, hey dude, we're thinking about you because I know a lot of people, or not maybe not a lot, but some people in Australia listen to us. And particularly a former guest of ours, Nick. This came out as we're recording it basically.

2:04Just found out that his wife has breast cancer. And that is obviously something that has touched all of us here on this show. And we just want to say from one or three one influencers or content creators to a massive one over there that we're all thinking of you. And man, that was tough to wake up to this morning, but you've got quite the circle with you in the village behind you, for sure. And you married a strong, strong gal. So we're thinking about you, thoughts and prayers for sure. But we're one big, long community here. And that one felt like you were next door. And we couldn't go knock on your door type of thing. Maybe it would be a tough swim to just go across the pond type thing. You guys got sharks over there like crazy. The sharks are two shigs. I don't know.

3:05But it's one of those things where this little community that we have found on the flip the script, if you're listening on the content creator side, we talk behind the scenes a lot more than I think people know about. And we've become friends, not only us three, obviously, we started a podcast and stuff, but like Nick's been on the show a few times. And we've talked about, like he partners with ReoBee, we all partner with ReoBee. And like we've talked about like getting together somehow, some way. I think we've all followed Ben, his, how business partner or soon to be business there, lots of partners. But it's something that, you know, they're launching down in Australia. It's like, you know, he was, he was one of the three, you know, Ben was that like I followed to like get all of my like want to come because he was one of the OGs, right? And we've had all of them on the show, you know, stands maybe one or two, but like it's crazy, dude. Yeah, we talk, we talk a lot more. We were close and when stuff like this pops up, it's like, damn.

This is dad's wins and losses where we tap into our inner dad bod father figures

8:25and highlight some of the recent wins we've experienced as parents. And of course, vent about the embarrassing losses. We take each and every day as dads. I love you daddy. Andrew, what do you got? Yeah, exciting. We get at the household boys. Suns are in a two wheeler now. Ayo. We got an official evil cannibal out in the road. He, um, we've been trying to get him to ride a two wheeler, quite literally, sunscreen. And he just won't do it. He won't even try. It was nothing to do with it. Like we took his training wheels off. We're like, we're not putting him back out. He's like, I'm going to use the damn scooter that's screw you. And so he's been scooting all the summer. And finally the other night we had a little bonfire on the driveway. And we were like, buddy, why don't you just like, just sit on the bike because he was as a seat. You don't have to ride it. Let's just balance on it. I'll hold it and you just sit on it. He's like, I don't have to pedal. I'm like, no, we're just going to sit here. You don't have to, you can put it back in the garage after you sit on it for five minutes. I don't care. You just eat him down the hill. Yeah, pretty no.

9:25So, um, so I was just like holding on to the handlebars. And he was just kind of sitting there with his feet up. And we were just kind of working on little bands to get him comfortable on the seat. And then after about five minutes, we're like, I'm just trying to go around the driveway a little bit. I'll hold on to you. He's like, oh, yeah, okay. He did that pretty good. And it's like, got down to the end of the driveway. We're like, we want to try the road. And he's like, yeah, at that point, my wife's down there. And she starts running with him and holding on to the seat. And I look and she's five feet behind him. And he's just gone. I'm like, we did it. And he's about to crash with no pain there. But no, he did great. And he learned how to do the turn around in the road. He finally learned how to use the brakes. He no joke on the next day of road for three hours. And then the next day, probably another two hours. Then we did our first family bike ride. He begged to do that because he knows that we've been waiting to go on family bike rides on our bike path. We have right here. And as we did that, so it was really cool. You still very, very high risk out by the road.

10:26But we're getting there. He's an absolute liability out there. But he's getting better. So that's cool. Just in time for school, which is my loss. It's like these kids need to go back to school. Holy crap, dude. We kind of kind of kind of hit on that already. But that is like, it is time. My two kids spent every waking moment together pretty much all summer. Even when we're at work, we have these girls that basically come in there and eat at their house and take them places and have tons of fun with them all day long. But they're never apart. So they're just at each other's throws constantly right now. And I'm just like, you guys need to go and get separated, see friends, and only see each other in the evening. But that is happening starting tomorrow as of this recording day. So here's greener, here's bluer skies. I don't know. It's wild. Greener grass on the other side. Yeah, it's looking greener. I'm looking on the other side of the fence that's looking greener. Yeah, starting off 30s to half day and then full day Friday

11:26and then I'm looking to start. I swear to God, schools are just like, let's just figure out the most obnoxious calendar for these parents. And then they like their hours. No, but sure. Ars said they looked at yours and every other school district in the country and said, hold my beer. They started after Labor Day? Labor, well, no. Labor Day, so as everyone in at least Minnesota knows, Labor Day is late. Minnesota always usually starts. Well, some districts start a little bit before, but most will start after. Ars said, no, we're going to start on, what was it? Wednesday, it might even be Thursday. No, it's Wednesday. Oh, yeah, here we go. This is it. This is the jacked up park because we've decided to just completely forgot us. We're going to start Wednesday, have school Thursday, have off Friday, for the weekend. Labor Day off Monday, we're coming back Tuesday. Yeah, yeah. He's up to it.

12:26Yeah. So we said, okay, you're going to the first day of school and we're bolting up north. Like we're picking you up a pickup and we're going up to the lakes. And this is stupid. You're not going to the day two. You'll be at day three. Five days later. Like literally, I think half the kids are going to go to day two. Yeah. That's not real dumb. Yeah, it is what it is. Dude, school. I remember this exact feeling. I think we talked about this almost to the to the exact day last year. Probably. Yeah, I don't know. School of men. Yeah, it's needed. So number one, watering after aeration, an overseeding and established lawn. This is by our friend Tim and Wisconsin. We were just over and Wisconsin doing an aeration and overseeding on a Wisconsin. Am I, is that like how you say it?

14:28Do I have to say it that way? I think so. It's up to you. Wisconsin. I'm going to go in. Wisconsin. I'm using a Kentucky blue grass 80%, 20% rye blend. Should I maintain 1.5 inches of water per week despite the temperatures getting cooler and cooler and heavy do in the mornings? The next 30 to 45 days question mark. Thanks, exclamation mark. Doing an aeration and overseeding. Should I maintain one of the half inches of water per week? Is he asking like after established? Is that what that means? Because obviously when you're growing the grass, you're doing the two to four times a day, short bursts, not measuring inches. You're not measuring inches. Neither should the women. But anyways, I think he means after establishment. So I mean, but it's time you establish this in Wisconsin. You're talking, you're pushing October with Kentucky blue grass. I mean, September. I mean, yeah, you're end of September you're at.

15:29So it's going to be getting a little chillier. I we know I don't think so. You don't think so? No. It's the temperatures are so much cooler. That's my opinion. Here's my differ. I don't know. So it's an answer that question in simplified form. No, you don't need to be going 1.5 inches. I would aim for an inch a week. And if your lawn starts to look like it's needing water, then you add a little extra. And as it's getting cooler and cooler and you're looking at growing degree days or even simple more simply put, if you're mowing drops from every two to three days to now every seven days, you also can be cutting back your watering. So you'll definitely need less water in the fall. You want those groups to be on it. Yeah, and you want those roots to, you know, you, you, the kicker with water is your,

16:32you're watering it to get it growing, germinating, growing, established, and then kind of pull back and let nature kind of do its thing. Let it find its own water. Let it get strong that way going into winter, it's got some good deep roots and then spring it's coming out nice and strong. Agreed. Disagree? No, I think you nailed it. Chris, what's next one? Okay. This is front. This is the title is, what am I doing? Dot, dot, dot, dot. Is this going to turn out well? A question mark from our boy, Chris, down in Rochester and based upon the picture that he sent, I'm moving down the Rochester. Going down to the 507. I'm in the middle of it. I need some feedback. Am I going to make it? Or am I in above my head? Wife and I closed in our new build last October. Congratulations. And we are on the edge of town in Rochester, Minnesota. And I have a two acre lot shared well neighbor shared well with the neighbors, I think.

17:34But we have, but we all have two acres. So have some space shared well neighbors. There's no punctuation. So this could be anything. I think it's a shared well with the neighbors, shared well neighbors, but we all have two acres with some space. John Deere, 1025, R, a tiller land plane landscape break and a 45 gallon three-month sprayer, loader bucket. So of course I said, let's DIY this. And of course I made the wife kids and two German shepherds put up with mud weeds for the past eight years. We put in our landscape beds all around the garage and the house during the spring and the summer. Now it's fallish. I have 650 pounds of blue resilience from Twin City seed chilling in the garage. All the weeds have been killed. The well company is mainline mainlining a pipe dedicated for irrigation and a company that's going to irrigate all of the lot. I'm trying to cheat a little bit out back.

18:36We want to plant some pines staggering along the border. So the first head will be 35 feet in. I plan on tilling it all once more before irrigation, then smooth it out, then rake and plane, and then put down the seed with starter firt and mesotryone. All of this happens in the last couple days of August, first few days in September. Is this all going to work out or is this a giant waste of time? Money and we'll just end up with a crappy lawn anyway. What am I doing? That was, I literally what he wrote. I think that's like, I'm a new listener, but thanks for the discount with TCS. 19:41in the back corner of his lot. It looks like a farmland because there's nothing there. It's a nice plot. It's a nice plot, just dirt and a house in the background. And it's like, it looks like it's a 0.5 on an iPhone. Yeah, they write country songs about this property. Yep, no doubt. At the end of the day, I mean, I will, I read the question. You guys can answer. I have my thoughts, but will it work out or is he screwed? I think it will work out. I think he's time wise. Yes. I think he's doing the right prep, see it correctly. And he's working on irrigation to make sure it's irrigated correctly. I think he'll be good. Is it going to be perfect? No. But see it. Pray that doesn't wash out. Yeah, do you think? I think if the timeline of all the well stuff and the irrigation works out and you do get seeded down, you know, by the end of the first week of September, you know, Aka,

20:42we call that Labor Day this year somewhere around there. I think you're going to be OK. That Kentucky blues going to be a little slow compared to some other stuff. But I think you're going to be all right, man. Tell your wife have a hefty glass of wine and trust the process. So he's out here in the sacred. Well, no, I was about to say like here's the deal. Like the majority of that bag or the majority of those bags in his case are tall fescue. Oh, that's right. Well, the soil, the soil temps right now in Minnesota are very warm. You are fine. You are going to see germination and probably about a week, if not maybe a day less. Like Andrew said, the Kentucky blue grass will be your in my head. I was thinking the mixture of the question one that was 80% Kentucky blue in 20. I don't know why I had those flip flops. So you know, you're even better than what I even said that Kentucky blue.

21:46You're not even going to notice it really coming in, you know, because it'll already be well established with tall fescue. So you're going to be golden, dude. Yeah, I think you're going to be fine. Just make sure to keep that wet. I mean, this picture is full, full, full sun. Let's play some soccer back there when we come to visit Minnesota. I was about to say I'm not far from you. Let's go kick ball around back there. Yeah, my soul temps are around 70 for the past five day average. I planted a week ago. Blue resilience and I had germination. I was expecting I walked out on day seven and there was like inch high babies. I was like, whoa, I am on day six. This is not the pre germination bet portion. Yeah, day six and they're up. Yeah, and that's and that's resilience to yeah, which is that tall fescue man's popping up in five to seven days lately. Yeah, it's exciting stuff, dude. Yeah, cool. Congrats. Hopefully it all works out well for you. Chris, you're going to have to keep us posted on your project.

The next one is our friends up across the border in Canada in Toronto, Luke pre emergent after fall seed love the program been listening since day one. Damn, love that. Appreciate you. I'm in the Toronto area doing a fall overseas with turf type tall fescue. I'll be using tenacity at seeding question is next spring, am I able to use a liquid barricade as a pre emergent? Can this be done with the new grass or should I skip a year? Maybe a split app. I have a follow up question to that. I didn't think they had any that stuff up there. Maybe smuggling across the border. It's pretty close to coming over to Detroit city or maybe over to the. Niagara Falls area there.

23:49Who knows? Yeah. I like your style, Luke. That's what you do. 30 dog. Anyways, what are you going to say Vincent? I'm Vincent. We have an episode all about pre emergence. So in a short answer, you are okay to use a pre emergent spring. Is it best to use maybe a smaller rate or a split application like you mentioned? Yes. But for more details, just go back and look through our. We might even have a guide or a blog post. But if not, we definitely have a podcast in a YouTube episode that talks about pre emergence and how to split them and when to avoid them and when not and when it's okay after seeding. We'll put. Yeah, send it. You guys go with that one. Yeah. All right.

24:50Ricky. Next question is for Rick. Rick in Northwest Ohio to fully rehab or to not fully rehab. That is the question. I was planning on leveling my small yards 720 square feet backyard this fall. We found some money to run electrical service to our garage and have to dig a trench which damaged a good portion of the lawn and the less compacted dirt from the refill has attracted moles. It seems I'm thinking it might just be easier to redo it all from scratch. But being the end of July, start of August, I don't know if it's not a great time to plant. I have attached a picture of the backyard. The yard sits on a north, the north of the house and there is a large tree at the back of the lot. So it's pretty shaded. So I've overseed it with Jonathan, green, black beauty, dents shade tall, fescue, fine fescue, and perennial rye with decent results. Do I start killing off everything now? Work on leveling, flattening over time and live with the dust bowl.

25:53Wait to kill everything until cooler temperatures are here and then proceed or plan on spot fixing and leveling in the fall. If I wait, is there anything I can do now to the soil to help, whatever I decide to do in a few weeks. I have attached a picture and yes, you have. That explains that path looking thing. Is he talking like, was he inquiring about doing this in July versus the fall? That's what I was going to say. This is submitted in July. So I assume this is like July, yeah. When he was questioning this. So now it's relevant because the picture is on your screen if you are listening and if you are not, there is a smaller backyard and it is looking straight down and there is a, I don't know, on the right side of this trench that is now dirt is green grass on the , on the left side is green grass and that looks like a patty over there on the right. It looks like it's going to maybe a garage or a shed and it is completely just, it looks

26:55dormant and kind of spotty with a giant trench in the middle where they did the work. First of all, I thought that was like a dog path, like a path that a dog would like run every single day and kind of tear up. I thought that was like a walking path, but that makes more sense. So it's a trench. Yeah. And if he's, no matter what time it is right now, even like right now at this point, basically think of like when you're doing renovation, you're killing it, you're giving it a weaker to, you're scalping it, you're probably going to feed it or water it, you're going to spray it one more time. So there's another week or two and then you're going to really start doing the work. So you basically allow yourself for two kills to really get the plant down. So give yourself a month till you're ready to start working the soil and telling it up and leveling it. So yeah, I mean, time is now, would you've been fine back into the, at the end of July, essentially one month to this day?

27:55Yeah, you would because now you're in August and you potentially could be leveling out the areas getting ready to start, put that seed down because where are you? He's a little early. Yeah. But it's shaded. It's shaded. It's shaded and you have a water hookup right there. I think you'd be fine. The other thing I would say is like, if you think you already kind of missed your window for the, the kill off to do a complete run out, 720 square feet is not a whole lot. Of space, you could try to like spot seed that super bear trench and in like overseas, the rest of the law, the try to match it and see how it goes. And if you're not happy with it, consider, you know, getting a good plan in place for next season, whether it's spring or fall and doing a fall renovation. It's another option. Just kind of see how fall goes. You won't need a ton of grass seed for 720 square feet. So it's not a huge investment to make. Next one, balancing lawn chemicals with kids from our boy Reed in Minnesota.

28:59How do you guys try to balance maintaining a healthy lawn with fertilizer, herbicide, etc. with having a safe place for your kids to enjoy every day? Obviously, following the label on the bag, but any tips and tricks that might go along with that. It's a great question. There's a great question. Yeah. As always, protect yourself first with your PPE. Do everything proper. If you're spraying stuff, make sure it's not a windy day. Make sure conditions are good. Prevent overspray all that stuff. After you do your application, always make sure you're reading the label, following the directions that Thomas has on there, but good practices to always make sure things are able to dry on the lawn, maybe watered in and then dried again. It's kind of what I tend to do before I even let my kids or dogs go on it. So I kind of play it safe, but what do you guys think? What's your opinion on that?

30:00About the same. Yeah. If the label says 24 hours, I give it 48. I try and run around a irrigation, I moat, and then it's usually shoes on. Yeah. For the next couple days. They'll be your foot running around. Yeah, chemicals are brutal. They do cause issues. So yeah, there's definitely a balancing act with that. As you get a healthier turf, a thicker turf, obviously, you're going to have less need for herbicides and stuff. That's one of the main reasons why if I am doing herbicides, I'll go liquid because I get that quick systemic action and I don't have granular herbicides. I was about to say, kind of depends on which route you go. Right. Those are two tot, I think we're talking about liquids. Predominantly, but yeah, that was going to be my comment of like, if you do a granular, this is maybe a little bit different. Yeah. I stay away from that.

31:00And even some of the organic fertilizers who are synthetic set have biochar and stuff in it. Like that's human poop and there's still some negative side effects with some human poop and right, some of the stuff that's been coming out. Some people are really against them. So even if you think you're doing good and you're putting down like the bio solids, not biochar, bio solids. Yeah, I was about to say that's not biochar, very different. That, that, even that is something that's questionable. So, you know, this is something I'm actually like, I've been thinking about, I sprayed my lawn last night. I'm like, man, I really just don't like doing this anymore. Train heavy chemicals and stuff to try. Now I'm treating weeds and I'm brand new lawn, brand new to me, which has never been taken care of. But even moving forward, like I might just go like simple AMS and Nurea and dry spread it and not really go with all the other fancy

32:05fertilizers. Just something that's quick acting and do it more frequently. I don't know. Chris? I've been doing. I think the big one for me, it's not necessarily the fertilizers. Because, and I don't know why I view these differently because I probably shouldn't. Maybe I'm wrong. I have no idea. But for fertilizers, the majority of the summer, I am doing Urea and Orianne. The year point. That's very quick. And I still wait. But like, we have a no barefoot rule after I apply something for at least two days. That to me is a given. After that, I'm fine. Right? That's in my mind if I'm applying everything a week and a half apart. That's a good week of if you guys want to run around barefoot, go ahead. Right? It's the fun. The thing that I can't stand applying, which is why I completely changed up my strategy for the front yard is the fungicides.

33:05And I don't know why. I have a feeling the fungicides, herbicides are grouped together. I don't know. I look at those and I'm like, I feel like I'm doing something wrong. For people in general. But like if you're following the label, if you're following everything that's right, there's the other side of the coin. I don't know. I like protect yourself first, obviously. But then yeah, with the kids and stuff, that's, yeah, if they're running around playing, he just kind of have to figure it out. I mean, do what's best. I don't have a great answer for granulars. It's tough. Granulars are going to take a while to break down all that stuff. So usually it's like a fertilizer thing. So once it gets watered in a couple times, it kind of sinks down into the soil more. It's probably a little better, but I'd still not go barefoot for a while.

34:05You know, what's crazy is my kids are the age where they're conscious of a lot. And they spend a lot of time out in the lawn playing soccer and whatnot. Every time they go outside, dad, did you put anything in the lawn? They say that's what they ask me. I've never provoked. I've never provoked that. But like at the same time, anytime they come outside, I'm like, hey, you guys have to go play in the side yard because I sprayed stuff in the front lawn last night, because that's where I have my shortcut grass. I treat it totally different. So I'm like, you guys really need to go across the street to the neighbors and play or go to the side yard. Go to the neighbors. Or like, I'll get a text that I'll get a text that work from my wife. I'm going to be like, hey, the kids want to know if they can go out in the front yard and play soccer with the babysitter. And I said, yeah, but like, I put something down two days ago. I just say no bare feet. They make sure they have shoes on. You know, it is funny that you mentioned that. Like they are very aware. Yep. Of what again, and like, I've made a point of just making that a routine of like, this is why I don't like, I can't have you on there. And like, just tell them straight up.

35:08Because like, maybe I need to make some custom signs. You know how like companies come and like put signs in your yard. Maybe I need to have like a like a sign that says shoes like no bare feet. So like, I put it out in the lawn and I go to work. So like when I'm at work, they know maybe we should maybe we should make those. Yeah, maybe we should probably should. There's I just put some more families on and because I now live in a development that has sidewalks. And it's a reactive development. And I put down our sites last night and I have, I bought two. So I bought one at the beginning of the property and then one of the other end of the property on the sidewalk and the treatment zone. Yeah. Like say, oh, if I just sprayed and then I send you a picture of the Amazon guy walking through it like two years later. Yeah. Yeah. They don't read signs. Weat. Our neighbor just had, so I live, okay, so post just damn neighbor it, right? Backyard obviously is. A backyard backyard border to a bunch of other houses.

36:12But the guy like kitty cornered me. He had turgier now when I was doing an overseeding. And I looked out the window the other day and he put the sign in the middle of the backyard. Like the middle of the backyard, like as if it's like my next door neighbor would be walking to his yard. I'm gonna get a little closer to this. And then what's funny is like I took my camera and zoomed in on it because I was like, I want to see what this kind of says. And but I wasn't about to go walk over there. And he it was backwards. So the text was facing the house that just got the stuff of applied on the yard. It's exactly says gotcha. Yeah, just completely pointless. Yeah, it's a dance. It's got to fit your, what you're comfortable with. We know that there's side effects with herbicides, pesticides, you know, studies been done by people with golf courses. I'm not going to go into a healthcare rabbit hole.

37:14But just follow the label at minimum. Don't have your kids using sprayers. Don't, you know, have them around. Don't don't wear flip flops when you spray. Wear full PPE. I'm even gonna start using a mask. So you're not supposed to wear crocs barefoot with no socks. When you're using a sprayer. And we're underwear for God's sake. Yeah, surprisingly. Yeah, it's gonna fall off. Well, that's all good. All right, it's lived a good life. There's worse things. Anyways, I think we beat. Are you done? Or were you going more? No, I was just saying we beat that that horse. Let's move on. Oh, okay. We're happy. We mentioned this on the last episode or something. We beat a lot of horses. I've, I just had a cold, I just had a cold worker break that crap out of her leg on a horse two days ago. So really? Yeah. Having surgery. Yeah. Like she fell off. She was getting on and she got bucked off and she got bucked off.

38:15Her her foot got caught in the stir up and she hit her head and got slightly knocked out. And then she got twisted. Her knee got like twisted up. Carole Leakin twisted up. Yeah, ACLs completely shut. For anxured femur, Tibial plateau, injury, but meniscus. At what point did you just say, fuck it and they call that a total, they pretty much call that a total knee replacement, probably pretty close to it. So yeah. Oh my god. So I'm going to be on call a little bit more now because we have one most person in the rotation. You just had to ride your horse. Yeah. 39:20It's noon. What are you doing? Yeah, not even two o'clock in the afternoon and he was young and he was at the end. Low and high spots. I want to do a long leveling project this year. I feel good about the sand top soil mix and everything. The biggest concern about is the amount of work. Welcome to the club. Any pieces of equipment that will make my life easier. Already considering a toe behind leveling rake from lazy and an ego and ego's dump trailer. I wanted to rent top aggressors similar to what I've seen Vince use, but those aren't available locally. You're talking about the earth and turf ones that are on the conveyor belt that just go down. Anything else I should be buying slash renting. And yeah, you do have a good backyard, bro. Honestly, so is that a policy? I think it's a big rock. Oh, that is a big rock. You better call Jordan. Jordan over there to get that thing out of there.

40:20He got a good mass. Jordan did a little raise go buddy. Nice fire cut out there too. Kind of not kidding. He'll probably show up. No joke. You can actually see like that dark spot right in front of his shed. I bet you that's a low spot right there. Well, I see by the way that it is. I mean, are you going to go be going pretty heavy? I wonder. Level because I wonder how many skids do you be pretty? I'm going to tell you. I wonder if he thinks that we're going to miss that double dark straight. I didn't want to call it out, but I did. Right. Yeah, the door that that fatty. Yeah, you got a little fatty going. It's like a 1.5 wide. It's not quite too little overlap. We're calling out. It's all good. We're calling out. We like it though. You know, I accidentally did that same thing the other day. I started like striping in the middle of my lawn and then I did that half. And then I came back to the other half and I accidentally did side by side stripes in the same direction. And I looked back at it and I was just like, air. And I just kept going. Dude. Yeah. So the you have a dump cart.

41:23I mean, honestly, look at your rent. I don't know what rental equipment you have around you. But if you can rent like a bobcat T100, usually they're pretty cheap. Like when I say pretty cheap, like sub $200 for like four hours, even if you use that just to scoop the material into a dump cart and did little piles everywhere, that would be huge to help your back. Or you call up a bunch of buddies and say, Hey, I need help. Get a, you know, get another wheelbarrow to and just have them dump piles around. And then you can start spreading them out. Lanzi, rake is obviously really good. You can get a retrait. Makes a handle for any shovels, rakes, anything that makes you more ergonomically correct. So more upright, which will help you save your back as well.

42:24Using that drag is going to help one thing that also really helps for fine tuning. Sometimes the Lanzi rake's a little too heavy and might dig up some corners. Is like a in like a baseball field, drag mat. Do you like a little summer coconut shells? Some are like a metal chains. Get them on Amazon. Pretty cheap coconut shells. Yeah. Yes, I'm the high end ones are like a coconut. I went immediately to like, Melana. I don't know why. Yeah. Um, so yeah, um, there's a good. Are you serious? That's what they use. Yeah, I believe so. I'm going to debunk the shit out of this. Do you want to know who I thought this was based upon the picture that they sent? Uh, I don't know if this guy's still a post, but I loved his yard. Uh, Carl. Carl slice. No, it's the yad because he's from Boston. Uh, why a hd? I don't know if he still does this stuff, but like the backyard and it's not,

43:26but like the backyard looked almost identical to it, but in a mirror image. Coke. I was like, oh, he did it. Oh, cool. Called a cocoa mat. Yeah, cocoa drag mat. And it's not. It's not. Coconut. Coconut. But it's got. Oh, it's a freaking pop up. So I don't want to, I don't want to. Dense natural fibers float on the infield. Is it looking different? Natural cocoa fibers. So it's not coconut. It's cocoa fibers. So they're not cocoa nuts. It's like a room, essentially. Or like one of those dormats. Fiber. Yeah, it does. It kind of looks like you take a dormat, flip it upside down and put a little piece of wood on the front of it and use as a drag. Those ones are real expensive, but there's, there's cheaper ones. I bet you that works really good on an infield. I think the chain, I bought the same one that you had, Vince, and that worked really well when I did my fuller innovation in my front lawn two years ago. Hang on. The drag works fine. If your grass is short. Yep, make sure you go short.

44:28If it's long, that's one of the exiles. Correct. Is that your experience? Yeah. Sure. On the better. Vince, you mentioned using the Bobcat aka the mini skid and like dropping it into the dump trailer and moving it. Would he, if he had like the track wheels on a Bobcat like that, would you advise just driving it right out to the lawn and dropping the spots with the Bobcat and just skipping the dump trailer completely? Or you don't really recommend that? No, because you're still going to create rods. I mean, you are, you are filling them in, but now you're creating more work. More problem areas. And then you're turning and you're ripping and you're as careful as you're going to be, it's still just loaded up into the bucket. You use the motor to drag or bring it over and then just make little piles. Yeah. If you got a two person team, I had one person doing the Bobby and the other person doing the dump and I'm sure that would be pretty efficient too.

45:28What are the blue buckets called? Eco, some Eco spreader. Yeah, it looks like a big ol' fertilizer spreader for sand and compost stuff. I don't know if that's true. They fling it everywhere though. Yeah, it's more even coverage than... Yeah, that's more of a top dressing kind of situation. I feel like they ran a lot of places. It's about the same. The local one by me has a ton of that stuff. Yeah, including the blue bucket. I think that'd be pretty efficient if you were going really low and doing fine tuning and leveling. I think that'd be kind of fun to utilize, but I don't know for this one. The earth and turf ones, you can just go pretty thick. I feel like a lot too. They go up to an inch, I think. Inge in a lot. Yeah, they go to like an inch and they now have a thing where it's on the back or on their walk. They have a walk by the pile behind them. Yeah, they have like a basically the same style as the Eco long.

46:32So as it drops, it goes down into two fans and spreads it. Oh, I haven't seen that one. Getting fancy. Yeah, they all have a core, a radiator ones and all that. They got some cool stuff. Time out. You said they can go up to one inch deep. We just go over it more. How does it go up to one inch? Because you can just go slow. So it goes down to like an eighth of an inch of material down all way up to I think it's like an inch or three quarters of an inch. Oh, that falls out at once. Yes. I also see. So you get a nice gradual one inch of material going down. Okay. So if you don't want to go over it four times, you can just go over it once. So that's far of my head was gone. I was like, you can fucking just put more material down. Like what are you talking about? Yeah. Your that's Chris for you. That is Chris brain. But I think at the end of the day, what we're saying is look for a little bobcat guy because like scooping stuff into a dump trailer is that's a lot of work. It's a lot of work. So if you can just get that part of the equation figured out, I think

47:34you're going to like life a lot better. Yeah. Yeah. Leveling projects suck, dude. And there's no sugar coating that at all. I like them. But I don't say yeah, you're also a psychopath. So that's that tracks. You also have a person, terms team coming over and helping you do this. Right. Yeah. Every time you're doing one of these, you're just standing on a piece of equipment. I like them. You just drive it around having a good time. We done it. We was lunch. Multimade on the last one that has literally a dump trailer with a conveyor belt. The letterly goes from the dump from a trailer to your borderline landscape company. You know, when you do your project, I'm over here with hermins to get in a dump truck full of material and the dump it on my driveway. Yeah. And all of a sudden now I'm just stuck with wear barrel and a shovel. Now it's slinging it and you can't walk the next day or move. I immediately down the entire bottle of Advil and say Godspeed. Let's do this.

48:34Pray to God I wake up tomorrow. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Well good stuff guys. It's worth it. They're not fun in the middle of the bill. So worth it. They are very worth it. I'm staring at that one and a half straight. I guess it goes right right to the door of the shed. I think I was right to the shed. Right to the shed. Maybe he had maybe that's where the mower is stored and that's so he pushed it back right through there and it just created another let. Nah. That's definitely his first stripe because that stripe is going towards us. That means he did two passes coming towards us. Yeah, towards towards. So yeah. Yeah. That would just be a mystery man.
