Saints Lose Cameron Jordan to Bears?

build a strong ground game.

So far though, they have not agreed to a new contract with veteran defensive end Cameron

Jordan.

Experts as CBS sports recently pointed to the Chicago Bears as a possible next stop for

Jordan.

The Bears are looking to boost their pass rush after losing several key defensive players.

Their coach, Ben Johnson, called it a top focus heading into next year.

Chicago's defensive coordinator, Dennis Allen, coached Jordan for a full decade in New Orleans,

making a reunion appealing.

Plus, the Bears freed up cap space by trading wide receiver DJ.

More to the bills, so they could afford to sign him while keeping their own free agents.

Jordan put up double digits sacks last season and remains a steady leader on the line, even

as he nears age 40.

Fans and analysts see him as overlooked in free agency so far.

For the Saints, losing Jordan would hurt deeply since he has a long time franchise cornerstone.

They should push hard to keep him rather than let him walk for nothing.
