Saleh's Titans: New Hope with Ward & Daboll

On March 30th, Robert Salah just landed the head coaching gig with the Tennessee Titans,

marking his second shot at running an NFL team.

His old boss, San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan, is all in on sale, calling him one

of the league's top coaches during the owner's meetings this week.

Salah first worked under Shanahan as the 9ers defensive coordinator from 2017 to 2020,

then returned briefly in 2025.

The New York Jets poached him in 2021, but fired him midseason in 2024 after three

four years.

Shanahan says Salah got a raw deal in New York, where solid defenses couldn't overcome

constant quarterback chaos.

No playoffs, best record seven wins, and 10 losses.

They traded away Sam Darnold, draft his back Wilson's second overall as a bust, and

Aaron Rogers tore his Achilles just four snaps into 2000.

Now with the Titans, Salah's hyped about second year quarterback, Cam Ward, who helps

snag big names for the staff.

That includes former New York Giants head coach, Brian DeBull, as offensive coordinator.

Salah is walking into a fresh setup in Nashville, and with Ward and DeBull locked in, Titans

fans are buzzing for what could be a real turnaround.
