On March 24th, a senior housing counselor and
software has stepped down from her director role at the city's development company.
Tracy Kelly left to rieve in February after nearly eight years on the job.
Derived launched in 2017 to ramp up affordable homes across the city.
It's a cornerstone of the council's housing push and has delivered hundreds of new units.
Kelly also holds the key spot as Deputy Mayor.
This move follows reports from March about her request to delete an email complaint
against a fellow labor member. Officials insist the two issues are connected,
noting counselors often rotate off such boards. Meanwhile,
planning committee chair Philip Kusak stepped in as director that same month.
Three council staffers, Alan Catech, David Mills, and David Wilcock joined the board too.
The council downplays any conflict worries, saying they'd handle them routinely.
These leadership tweaks come as Derived keeps driving software's home building efforts forward.
