Scorpion kicks and set pieces

About this episode

Musa and Ryan begin this week with a huge game in the WSL, where Manchester City opened up an 11-point gap at the top after their 5-1 win over Chelsea. Arsenal, meanwhile, beat Corinthians in extra-time, to become the winners of the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.

Then, it’s onto the Premier League, where there was a true game of two halves that saw Spurs and Manchester City play out a 2-2 draw (10:24) and an incredible Dominic Solanke goal, while Aston Villa lost at home to Brentford, who played out the entirety of the second half down to ten.

Arsenal extended their lead at the top, thanks to a very impressive 4-0 win away at Leeds (39:24), Manchester United left it late to keep the good times rolling (46:22) and there’s also a round-up of the rest of the Premier League, plus the Bundesliga, La Liga and much more!

London crew, don't forget to get those tickets for the next Southbank Centre show, with special guest Nish Kumar, here.
