On April 1, Scott Mills, the former BBC Radio 1 and 2 presenter, just broke his silence

after getting sacked over personal conduct issues.

He confirmed a police investigation back in 2016 into a sexual offense allegation from

nearly 30 years ago when he was in his mid-20s.

That probe ran until 2019 when the Crown Prosecution Service decided there wasn't enough evidence

for charges.
