So hello there, don't be alarmed, we're just preparing your listening device for scuba radio. The world's first radio should have ordered to diving. We do this of course by filling the radio with water. Do we need weird professions? Thanks to me, you won't even get wet. You see, I've crammed every appendicit by body into the cracks and crevices of your radio. Ensuring your flight seal! By the way, don't touch your odd off-nob, that's a very sensitive area. And... Anyway, I should remind you we believe in the body system just like diving, so don't listen alone. Call your body and tell them that scuba radio is about to begin! We're gonna turn a new life under the sea. So am I gonna drown? Course not, just stay calm and let the gentle currents relax your every muscle. Up under the sea! Under the sea! Did you just get warmer? There'll be no accusations, just van League crustaceans under the sea! Where the hell are the shards?
And now, here's your dive guide for scuba radio, Greg Vittivemaster. And welcome to our two of the world's first radio show devoted to diving, otherwise known as... The douche. The douche? And CJ's in the studio with me. The Su-Su-Sudio. That's it? Yeah, it's it. Actually, you know, we got the scuba magicians out diving right now at Blue Haram Bridge, down there in South Florida. Haram? Blue Haran. Oh, yes! Like the bird. And you dive under the beach at Slack Tide. I know, I'm just kidding. He's doing it right now, and of course, Slack Tide is exactly when we're doing the show. So we're not sure if we're gonna be able to get him on before the end of the hour, but we're gonna give it a shot. If he gets out of the water in time, we'll get a report if not, it'll be on next week. Or shortly thereafter. However, we have a special guest to help us kick off our two Mustafa's with us from Kahu microfibertausk Mu, as he likes to be called.
Is with us and welcome. How are you, buddy? I am doing well. Thank you for having me. Yes, absolutely. You know, and first off, let me back up a little bit about these towels, because I've followed his development in the dive industry over the last few years. I've seen these products pop up in dive stores across the US, and they're pretty unique. And we had a really good chat at the scuba show in Atlantic City. And I said, you know, send me one of these. I'm interested in checking this out, because the graphics they have on these towels are just spectacular. I've never seen anything like it. There are pieces of art, and you wear it. But it's a towel. You're gonna like, what's a big deal? Well, I'll tell you what. After I used my Kahoo microfiber towel and Barbados on that trip, I don't think I'll ever do another dive trip without it, because this is not just a towel. So super absorbent. It, well, it's super absorbent. It looks good, but it also doubles not as just a towel, but like...
As a rope. As a well, okay. And Kenny, well, and Vinny Tutank said it would be a changing thing. That's a whole different thing. We're gonna leave that one lie. But yeah, you can wear this thing like almost like a cover up, or what I found out is like, hey, this is kind of like... I don't want to have to bring a hoodie or anything. If I'm a little chilled after the dive, you just slip this thing on it as a hood on it. And it's just well thought out. And it kind of covers a few different bases, not just the towel. And, but it looks cool. It feels amazingly soft. And you wear a cape like that, man. Yes, and I did. Matter of fact, that's one of the things that we caught on video that's probably going to come out next week or so, that I was running around the dive boat like a, you know, back when I was a kid wearing a cape like Superman. You can do that. And I don't know if... I love it. I'm in. I mean, that may not be something move once you put out in this marking materials, but you can...
You can be a kid again with this thing if you want. When I have Greg, the scuba, the dive master running around with a car who has a cape, I would love that. Yeah, or... Well, okay. He's a little twisted like me then, I guess, maybe. But that's a good thing. But I was really impressed with the product. I mean, when he sent it to me, I've seen them in the stores and I thought the graphics were awesome. But I was like, yeah, I don't know. It's a towel. You know, well, I use a towel. Of course, every diver does. But I didn't realize the utilisation in different categories. Like I said, using it as like a cover-up or like a hoodie or something, like you're throwing in your dive bag, you don't have to bring a hoodie anymore. You know, like just to stay warm between dives on a livid board or something. This thing kind of doubles in that. Was that the plan? Mo, because I know we had that chat in Atlantic City when you were telling me the backstory
of why you brought these things to market. But was that one of the other elements or uses that you saw when you developed this microfiber towel or what? Yes, absolutely. You know, there were two things that we focused on while developing products. And specifically even the brand car, when, you know, conservation was at the core of the idea. The idea was to try and use materials that may otherwise end up in landfills or even in our oceans. And give them a second life. But then also create products that are well thought of, great quality that last you forever. And also double up as more than one utility. So if you can check three boxes with one, you can have something that you can use for three different utilities. It's not just a dive product. This can be something you can take on a beach day, both day.
You know, if people even carry them in their gym bags and at the end of a workout, wipe themselves down, put it on their seat cover and put it on their seat. So, you know, it basically makes their seat from a sweaty back, stuff like that. So it's a towel, but you can find so many more utilities. It doesn't have to sit with your dive stuff for your next dive trip. It can be a daily utility for so many other things. And that was kind of the idea. If we can own less and do more, you know, well, I mean, I think you've got a home run here. I mean, because like I said, it caught my eye because of the graphics. They, you know, he has some kind of special process where the graphics on these towels are really phenomenal. I mean, they're very detailed. And they just look impressive, just hanging on the racks at a dive show. But they're very compact as well. So, you know, typically I wouldn't even necessarily bring a towel in my dive kit, but I seriously, I will not go on another trip without one.
So what you're saying is these graphics are so awesome. They make even you look cool. Yeah. Exactly. I mean, they got sharks, man to race. If you go to, well, well, move, what's the website? Kahoo, what is it? KahooTribe.co. That's right. KahooTribe. Yeah. K-A-A-H-U. You. Which means what Kahoo means something, doesn't it? What is it again? So in Hawaiian culture, Kahoo means protector of Godian. Right. You know, the Hawaiian Sea, you know, it's a concept where they don't, they don't feel like they own the land, the ocean, or they're not owners of their pets. They're protectors, they're guardians of these things. And that's kind of the roots of how I feel about, you know, what we're trying to do over here, you know? You know, these old divers, we're ocean lovers. Yeah, move, by the way. Is a hardcore dive instructor? That's really cool. He's done the whole thing and then some. So he's not just some guy off the street trying to sell a towel.
He is one of us. And it shows when you hear him talk about his product and why he brought it to market and all the different elements he thought through. He did all the thinking so we don't have to. Well, I mean, honestly. Christmas is coming. Yeah, yeah, I'll tell you what, this is one of those items. You got a new one for my list. That is popped up on my radar and now that I've used it, I mean, I know this sounds like a paid advertisement, but it's not. I mean, I'm telling the truth how I feel about it after using it. It was way better than I even expected. And was it going to be a Dima? Of course. Of course it's going to be a Dima. And he's working on some special projects possibly for scuba radio because I was so impressed with the product. I was like, we might have to do something with this. I don't know. But it's one of those things, like I said, you could wear it and it will replace your hoodie in between dives to keep you a little warm. And there's so many different uses for it. But it's super compact and it's super soft and comfortable and absorbent.
And then the added bonus is, like you said, that it's all made out of recycled materials. He's given back. So every purchase goes to environmental programs that Mo and his team are supporting. I mean, he's really, really thought this thing through on a level that you just wouldn't expect for a towel. It's just not just a towel. That's my point. It's an awesome towel. Yeah, it's an awesome towel. And the sharks and everything are great. So Mo, if you can hang with us for a little bit more, I want to talk a little bit about your diving background too. If I can hang, all right, good. He's going to towel off or cover up pinning so he can change clothes. Please, I will be back with more next day clothes. This is the Worldwide Scuba Radio Network. You are now clear to dive with scuba radio. SCUBA radio The world's first radio show devoted to diving. SCUBA radio Die, die, die! Hi, I'm Money, and I'm your Die Master Lead in Aguacat, and you're here as Cuba Radio. Yeah, wait, you're the lead dive master? I'm the aquacat, what are you? Yes, I'm the lead dive master. Okay, do it again, one more time. You kidding? No! Okay, guys, I'm Money, and I'm your Die Master Lead in Aguacat. And you're here as Cuba Radio. The world's first radio show devoted to diving. The what? Okay. Hi, guys, I'm Money, I'm a diving instructor in Aguacat, and you're listening to our... You're listening to our Cuba Radio. The world's first radio show devoted to diving. The world's first radio show devoted to diving.
You kidding? You did it, trust me. This is the world's first radio show devoted to diving. All right, can this flow? Okay, do it slow, yeah, yeah, yeah. The world's first radio show devoted to diving. devoted to diving. devoted to diving. For the Spanish speakers, the best radio station ever radio ever of what is the museum. I can say better myself. This is the world's first radio show devoted to diving. I am Greg the Die Master, CJ in the studio with me. Now, modeling his very own Kahu microfiber towel, and the force is strong with this one, I think. Would you agree, move? Or is that one of the worst models you've ever had in the history of your business? You have to be decided.
Yeah, exactly. Good answer. He's got to walk the catwalk. It's only downhill from here, because we start with CJ, then we work our way down to Vinnie Tune tanks. Very comfortable. Yeah, it is very comfortable. But Vinnie, if he gets his hands on one of these, the only thing that added thing for him, the Kahu microfiber towel would probably keep him out of jail, because they could wear this and change his clothes as opposed to change his clothes on the dive deck where everybody can see him. As long as he's not in a stiff wind. Oh, yeah. One of those buttons. They got buttons for that. So you can fasten the buttons on the side there, Vinnie. And it'll keep you from exposing yourself to the rest of the people. Yeah, it'll allow me to take off my wet gear without, you know, I'd like to scare him away. Everybody. Yeah. Everyone throw up a little in their mouth, yes. Maybe put on two different case. Yeah. Well, double up, Vinnie. I have a really big problem with shrinkage,
so you're not gonna see anything anyway. No, no, no. No, no, no. Anyhow. Yeah, I mean, it's big enough where you could change under it. And that's another actually element, like people go to the beach, surfers, that kind of thing, they'll change. No, I think it's a tremendous product. Yeah, it's really really very comfortable. And like I said, the Prince, CJ is sporting the Manta one. And yeah, I mean, how many different designs you have? Well, of this car shell. We just launched two new designs that are gonna kind of, they're available, but they're kind of launched into Dima. And that puts us as 16 different designs. Nice. Two of them are exclusively the patio where support designs, but everything else is, and those are, we are working with an artist whose photographs we're using, as Prince, and that's part of our mission
to support patio where to raise $10,000 in this calendar year. So, that's kind of a collab with patio where, but all in, including those two, we are at 16 designs. Every time I tell myself, I need to stop because this is becoming an inventory nightmare for me. And, you know, but for every meeting I take, I have a couple of new suggestions of, hey, you should make this design. And I'm like, you know what, if people want it, I'm gonna work on it. So, you're I am. Well, you know, like I said, it's a relatively new product, but he's done pretty good at getting it out in the shops. I mean, I've seen it down there in the keys before, and a couple of the shops, but it's still relatively new. You're still kind of getting it out there now. But the quality of it is just great. Like I said, very absorbent, very soft. And, you know, right out of the box, I mean, CJ, it's nice, it feels good against your skin and the whole thing.
Yeah. Feels good and- Feels like I'm wearing nothing at all. Oh, boy. But, you know, and it looks kind of cool. You know, that's the thing. And, I mean, that's the best both worlds. But, oh, and the other thing too, you're telling me, because of the materials that you're using that are recycled and you're giving back in that regard, helping the planet and that kind of stuff, and actually giving back to good causes like project aware for that particular one. And, but just overall, he has that element at play. The materials are like non-microbial or what's the proper word? Like it won't hold odor. Thank God. Yeah, anti-bacterial. It's anti-bacterial. Yes, there it is. So it doesn't, and that's kind of the biggest difference between a cotton product versus a synthetic one. That's why in our industry, you know, natural fibers do not, like they don't last the- Like it's a funky test.
Yeah. Exactly. And also, you know, they're not performance based. So, you know, that's why our bathing suits are, the trash guards are not natural fibers. But they also work against us because they get funky. They breed bacteria. And, you know, once they start getting stinky, you just can't get it out of it. Yeah, but that's not the case with the Kahoo microfiber towel. So it's made out of materials that doesn't hold odor, you know, or the smell or any of that stuff. So I think it's all good in that regard. You know, Greg, as part of the process of testing this, initially before I decided to put my brand in my name on a product, I would leave these in my gear bag for a day and a half in the back of my truck just to see what would happen. You know, and they would come out smelling nasty, exactly. And they would come out smelling nasty because it's still holding that water, right? But I'd put it in a hanger in the sun to us and it's bone dry and there's no smell. Nice. Nice. If we can only apply that technology to Barry, Jerry,
and Ben, I don't want to thank Barry. Yeah, I think I smelled delicious. How do you take care of this when you're done diving? I mean, can you do you a hand wash it or can you put it in a machine? Machine? Mine goes in the machine just with all of the clothes. It goes in the washer, dryer, no problem at all. But if you're on a dive trip, you know, and you're looking to use it twice a day, literally, fresh water, rinse, rinse, hang go, two hours in the sun, and that's it. Okay, before you are. What about that, Jerry? You wanted one of these, wouldn't you? Oh, I mean, they sound great. Now I would like to try one because I'm one of those people who's always got a cotton towel. Yeah, and he smells really bad. What a error. Okay. Bigfoot likes it. Whoa, wow. I'll be sure. Gosh. We were talking during a commercial, Greg, and Halloween's coming up and, you know,
we're trying to get him to make a towel. So he's agreed to make a towel for us, but so we're going to put your head and your beanie on it for Halloween. Okay, well, you know, what you guys do on your spare time is up to you. And it's a little disturbing. I will be calling to care. Scoob-a-medium. Scoob-a-medium. Scoob-a-medium. Hey, man. Hey, what are you doing today? I don't know. I was kind of bored. Do you want to do something cool? Like what? We could go Scoob-a-Dive. Oh, yeah. That sounds great. I've never done it before. Well, there's only a few things that you got to do to be good at. And it's really easy to learn. Here. I'll show you. Come with me. Here, everyone. Let's get our gear on. To avoid the compression sickness. Always make a safety stop. You can go. Gonna be a Scoob-a-Dive. Gonna be another water-safety. Gonna be a Scoob-a-Dive. This is the world's first radio show devoted to diving. I am Greg the Divemaster.
We'll plan and hook up with Alisa from the history of diving museum. Get the latest and what's been going on down there in the Florida Keys with that fine organization. And, uh, place. And actually, it's right next door to where a moose based out of. He works at Rainbow Reef just up the road from the history of diving museum. And, uh, and by the way, that's your full-time gig is working there. Being a dive instructor or, or, I mean, what do you do there at Rainbow Reef? I am a paddy co-strictor. I am an instructor trainer and, you know, your dream-berriff, we do one IDC a month. Drinks in a year. So, you know, it's a 16-day long course. And I co-teach it with one of my colleagues and we kind of, you know, help each other get some time off while teaching the course. And, you know, I kind of do that. And now, at this point, that's it. So, you know, I teach the IDC once a month.
And the rest of the time, I'm focusing on growing the business. Well, there you go. And so the Kahoo microfiber towels. I mean, did that come as just like, uh, like you just saw the need. And like, hey, you know, I'm a diver. I'm doing this. I need this towel. I need to do a better thing than the crap I see constantly on the dive voter. I mean, why did you decide to jump into that arena? It's long story short. Yeah, we got a minute or two. Go. Okay. So, you know, I have a background in business. I have run a business, uh, my own business. This is my second take at business. I took a sabbatical 14 years ago. You know, I didn't know what I was going to do. I ended up being a scuba instructor and I spent the last 14 years doing that. Uh, I've always wanted to, I've always enjoyed entrepreneurship. But my first take at entrepreneurship was not an eco-conscious stake. I didn't know better. You know, I had never been in the ocean.
I didn't understand this. But this time I wanted to come at it from a different angle. I didn't have to make the cheapest product trying to sell it at the cheapest price. But rather have a product that not only takes care of all of its shareholders. Stakeholders, meaning the environment shouldn't suffer for it. You know, a lot of things that we do, we take stuff that is free. But it's not, you know, that extra extra catch up at McDonald's. It's a free, but they're not. The environment pays the cost. So, we try to create a business that is, uh, you know, more eco-conscious, taking care of its people, the dive shops, and as well as the environment. Well, there. Uh, this product specifically, you know, I've been working on this for a long time. So, technically, you know, I've used sponsors before. I love using sponsors. And it was always a battle, you know, do I have enough room in my backpack? I'm teaching a class. I have a backpack, and I need my water bottle and my lunch. And do I have space for this poncho? You know, it was always a battle. So, I want to do it better.
I knew I had an idea. And, you know, I just rolled the dice. I, you know, bet some money on myself and said, let's give this a shot. Well, like I said, I think you got a winner. And, uh, when you talk about, you know, the space in your dive kit or your luggage if you're traveling, I mean, this thing takes up nothing. It weighs nothing, but it, and it works. And, like, it is less than one pound. Yeah. I mean, so, uh, I mean, and I'm very, uh, you know, picky about that kind of stuff. Because I don't even like the, you know, pack heavier fins because obviously, you know, you know, you can't get a weight and when you're traveling, it's better to travel light. But this is nothing to add it. And, and it's, uh, it's, it looks cool. And you're weakling. And well, there's, there's that. Wouldn't that funny? Uh, yeah. But good stuff. But as far as what you do, a rainbow reef, I mean, I would imagine you're using this, uh, product all the time. Did your students see this? Like, hey, what's that?
Like, wow, it's my towel. Absolutely. And, you know, people ask me all the time. It's always a great way to put the product out there. Yeah. But, you know, great. We've, it kind of gave me the idea on how we have set up our marketing. When we onboard a new shop, we have a package where we give them, uh, a few ponchos for this stuff. What we have learned, what I have learned over here at Rainbow, these were friends and students of mine who loved my product and said, Hey, if you want to try it. And as soon as they tried it, they loved it and they started wearing it more. And guess what? When that instructor comes out of the pool, the first thing they want to do is put this towel on. It starts drying them and then they can start, you know, breaking down their gear. Right. And we found students wanting, they could get their hands on it. They could see the use case. And suddenly students wanted one before they finished the course and left. So that's what we do with our shops. We onboard, we give them a key man special that includes freebies for their stuff and get the stuff to start trying it.
Once they tried, they like it. They use it. This thing sells automatically. There you go. KahooTribe.com, K-A-H-U, by the way, is the website. Well, it's great stuff, Mo. And I love the fact that, you know, obviously, you're a hardcore diver. And, and you know, we're just scratching the surface with his background. I mean, he's been quite the entrepreneur with this product. And that's one thing. But you're a big time diver. You're diving all around the world probably more than I do. Are you, you get to travel quite a bit with in between doing these IDCs down there, Rainbow Reef, or what? I do. I do. I, I love traveling. I think traveling has been the best education I have got. And I went to business school. So let me put it this way. I mean, I love traveling, learning about new places, experiencing new places. It's kind of what made me want to be a school instructor, you know? Yeah. So I try my best.
I will say that I, since I started the business, I probably need to do a better job at traveling, you know, trying to keep that travel schedule that I've always enjoyed. But I still, I am able to get out, you know, I, I make sure I do. Well, and obviously you get out down there in the key is quite a bit. I do a training and just diving. I would imagine you have a favorite site down there in Key Largo area where Rainbow Reef is or what? I do. I do. I mean, there's, there's some really beautiful spots to dive over here. But I think the speagle grove is just a phenomenal wreck. One of my feelings. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, that is a great wreck. I mean, that's an epic type of dive. And yeah, I'm actually planning to get back down there in a couple months after I get back from Indonesia. We have some plans for doing something down in the keys. I'm not at liberty to say just yet. But we got, got some plans in the works.
Well, Mo, I appreciate you being on the show today and sharing your product with the world and just keep at it. And maybe you have to do a speagle grove version of the cow who bought microfiber towel. I mean, I just added another thing. He's like, God, not another one. It's not the first time I've heard that. And it is let's just say we have to be out considering it. Yes. Well, there you go as well as a whole bunch of others. But you know, they got a bunch already. Just go to the website, pick your favorite design and and get one of these things. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I thought I would like it, but I didn't think I would love it when I went to Barbados. And I honestly, I did. I thought it was pretty, pretty awesome. I was like, wow, this is way better than I expected it to be. So hats off to you or I mean, I don't know what caps, hoods off to you. There you go. The cow who tribe.com is the website.
All right, we got more coming up with Lisa from the history of diving museum next on the world's first radio show devoted to diving. Stay close. This is the worldwide scuba radio network. Scuba radio. Prepare to rig for dive. Your surface interval is complete. You are now clear to dive with scuba radio. The world's first radio show devoted to diving. Scuba radio. Dive, dive, dive. It was interesting scuba diving. I remember the first fish I saw. I cut a swan and he took a double take at me like, what the f***?
This is the world's first radio show devoted to diving. I am Greg the Dive Master and you know, Mew is down there in the Florida Keys. And so is Lisa from the history of diving museum. Yeah, and she's with us now as we check in with her to get an update on what's been going on at that fine facility down there in the Florida Keys. So, uh, Sensational facility. Yeah, sensational. Absolutely. Lisa, how are you? Happy Labor Day weekend to you. Thank you. You know, the benefit of living in the Keys is you get to play in the Keys. So, morning out, dive in and you know, greet and visitors in the afternoon with our staff. So, good thing. So, there you go. And I mean, what are you going on right now? Is there some exhibits we need to mention or some events coming up at the history of diving museum that people need to put on their radar or what? Actually, I'm glad you asked. Well, on the third Wednesday of every month, we have the Immersion Self Program. Actually, this month, we're going to learn about kelp from Nancy who's out in California.
So, actually, the whole presentation is going to be virtual. Whether you're in town, you can come watch it at the museum and you know, we'll have a watch party or you can just do it by Zoom on the seven o'clock on the third Wednesday, which is the 19th. We also have guided tours that are going to be happening in September. Those are on our website. And then of course, we have the prescribed pressure featured exhibit that's on display through the end of the year. Right. And well, we're kind of in a holiday weekend this weekend. Is it extra busy there at the museum because of that or what? Yes, because this weekend, it's a Bank of America weekend. I don't know if any of your listeners are card holders, but they have a museum on us program, which the first weekend of the month they get into participating museums for free. And we are one of those facilities. So Bank of America card holders love us the first weekend of the month. It's also Labor Day weekend, which is the close out of the Blue Star program where active duty is free every day, but during the Blue Star summer program up to five family members are free.
So those families that are traveling to the keys for Labor Day weekend, they can come in for free through Monday. And that, you know, that's a six people for free doing a cultural event. I know that everybody loves being out on the sun in the sun and being out on the water. But this is a great family thing to do after the snorkeling or fishing or diving. Right. Yeah, we can spend 24 seven underwater. Might as well spend it. Spend some of your surface interval at the history of diving museum. You'll thank me if you haven't been. It's impressive. Divingmuseum.org is a website and get everything there and all those extra little perks if you're in military or or Bank of America card holder. That's just a that's just a bonus. Did you say you were actually diving this morning or no? I was. Where did you go? Out with silent world. We went up north to patches reef and we did the city of Washington.
Aha. So it was just a fun dive or were you on a mission for something or what? No, no, just a fun dive paddle around in the water. It must that feels so appealing right now. I mean, if I if I went traveling right now, I'd be down in the keys because this is like the best time to be in the Florida keys. The whole entire Caribbean for that matter is far as conditions, isn't it? Yeah, it is because you know, it's not as busy. So the boats have room. The restaurants have space. The servers, you know, everybody loves having visitors in town. But it's that nice lull before you get crazy with the fantasy fest and October stuff. Right. And the winds have died down and I mean, did you have good conditions? Flat calm, good vis what? Well, we had good visibility. We had turtles. We had sharks. We had, you know, all kinds of schools of like midnight parrot fish. It was great. Yeah. Jerry the diver guy. He he's planning to trip down to the keys.
I would imagine. Aren't you? But Jerry or what? I've been trying, Greg. I can't get you up to go on. Well, I know I've been traveling to but you don't need me to go to the keys. Don't use me as your crutch. You're my dive buddy. Oh, no. No. No. I mean, it's been a while since I've been on it. Is the city of Washington. How's that holding up? You know, it's it luckily it's a historical work that's been there for a long time. You know, you can still swim through the archway. There's still a lot of fish that are underneath the side of the the ledge there where the hall is. And it's nice and it's spread out. So I had some, you know, divers that hadn't been in the water for a while. And we were all kind of buddy together and you know, it was just it was a nice relaxing dive. There was just a slight current. So actually we swam against it and then we literally floated right back into the boat. So it was just, you know, one of those really relaxing days out there. Yeah. I mean, is that the same site where slate does his thing?
The creature. It's where he it's where he used to when he was at the garden. Go. Right. So now he's down in Tevoneer and does another reason. Imagine there's still some critters that hang out there and aren't there. You know, they're all over I guess right? Exactly. Exactly. So it was really good. And then, you know, people coming in to the museum, family units coming in. We've got more adults that are doing the scavenger hunt, which you can do on your phone or do on that paper clip. Clipboard. Yeah. And you know, it's just fun finding those little divers. And you guys like, well, and just to back up, that's one of the activities you can do at the museum, right? Right. Yeah. And you go there and mark them off the list and find them there tucked away here and there and the whole thing. So yeah, we still got to work on our plans for scuba radio 30 year anniversary next year. Yes. Yes. You know, if any of you guys are around in October for that sea shanties night, we're doing.
Okay. Which would it be what exactly? It's on the 17th. We've got a one of our members is in a sea shanties group in the UK. And they do festivals and stuff all through, you know, like the season. But he comes to the keys and he's going to be here in October and he offered to do one at the museum. So we're going to have a sea shanties night. We're going to learn about sea shanties and then we're going to have beer and sing along. Sing along this. Yeah, those are great. Yeah. So when is your anniversary? Isn't it in April? Yeah. I said April Fool's Day, 2027, it'll be scuba radio's 30 year anniversary. Right. And when one time we were I was hanging out with Lisa and she was drinking heavily says, yeah, we could actually do something at the museum for your. You have to take care of your life. After we after we pumped her on her 20th and said that they had an exhibit and we lied our asses off. Greg, I think you should give her you should donate your little beanie. Yeah, Greg put that on display. No, no, we're going to come up with something.
I will. Greg, I did wash it first. Here, I will say, Greg, because you are a treasure to the diving music community. And our featured exhibit it on April 1st or during that time frame is treasures of the sea. So you will be our April 1st treasure of the sea. That's extremely foolish. I think it's the wall by the janitor's door and open it up and see your beautiful face. Oh, I kind of like that idea. Yeah, maybe works to have him in the featured exhibit and you know, you drop a coin in and you can ask the genie a question. Wow. Okay, I mean, Lisa is more creative than our crew. Yeah. But is it just me or did Lisa just call him an antique? Yes, no, he is. Oh, he is. He's going to be the first to admit it. Greg is an antique. He's not an antique. It's he's one of those things that's been buried in a desert for thousands of years. Had to archive a mat up there.
You know, dig them out. Can you feel the love for going up to carbon? I love you, Greg. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. We love you too, but the steel. All right. Well, I think that's what we're going to do. I think that's what we're going to do. We're going to do something that's going to be a lot of things going on. And we'd love for you guys whenever you're in town to join us on anything that's happening. Yes. Yeah, don't let the fact that they might do something for scuba radio is 30th scary away. Get to the history of diving museum down there in the Florida Keys, divingmuseum.org. Lisa, always a pleasure. Thank you. We're going to have friends today. We had on the show to finish it out.
