Seahawks Add Affordable Veterans to Roster

the roster, but they still have 18 open spots and, just, four draft picks left.

That leaves room to snag some affordable veterans without spending big.

One option is running back Joe Mixon, who sat out last season with a leg injury, but

is rushed for over a thousand yards in five of his eight NFL.

Years, he could spell Zach Sharbanay during his recovery from a torn ACL.

Tidean Zacherts offers another low-cost fit, fresh off a solid year with the Washington

commanders before getting hurt.

As a reliable target in the middle for quarterback Sam Donald, he would back up AJ Barner nicely.

Offensive Lyman Ben Barch brings depth up front, having played under the Seahawks new

offensive coordinator with the San Francisco 49ers.

Meanwhile, safety Harris and Smith, a 14-year veteran from the Minnesota Vikings, might

delay retirement to join after the team lost Kobe Bryant, two the Chicago Bears.

These moves could shore up key areas cheaply as training camp nears, keeping the Seahawks

flexible for the long haul.
