Seahawks' Grey Zabel: Offensive Rookie of the Year

They were total underdogs heading in, but shocked the league and now roll into 2026 as

the team to beat for a repeat.

Team Brass dropped their end of year awards this week, handing out eight big ones for

most improved to MVP.

Getting it off with offensive rookie of the year goes to left guard, Grey Zabel, their

18th overall draft pick who locked down the line right away.

Zabel started all 20 games, regular season and playoffs, missing just 1% of snaps at

a 1051 total.

He turned the run game into a beast, averaging 123 yards per game, 11th in the league, while

opening lanes for backs like, Kenneth Walker III and Zach Sharbonne.

After back Sam Donald got sacked only 27 times, down from 48th the year before, thanks

to Zabel anchoring a line that's been shaky.

For years, pair him with tackles, Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas and Seattle's front

could dominate for seasons.

Honourable mention to White Out Torrey Horton, who flashed big early with 13 catches and

161 yards, five scores and a 95.

With these young guns stay healthy, the hawks are loaded for another run.
