Seahawks' Rookie Duo Clark, Neal: Big Personalities, Big Plays

Last week in the draft, the team grabbed safety Bud Clark out of TCU in the second round

and cornerback Neil in.

The third, General Manager John Schneider hyped their big personalities and confidence

right away.

These guys got 15 interceptions from Clark over 4 college seasons, and Neil calls himself

the most physical corner in his class.

They're stepping into a secondary that lost some key pieces in free agency.

Rookie minicam just wrapped, and these two lit up the field.

They stood out not just with their plays, but with the non-stop energy and volume they

brought to every drill.

Coach Mike McDonald even had Clark lead the final team huddle after day 2 talk about making

an impression early.

The vibes are already tight among the rookie defensive backs, including corners, Andre Fuller,

and Michael Danzby.

Fuller called them his dogs, locked in from jump.

That bond is huge for a unit rebuilding in the back end.

Turns out Clark and Neil linked up pre-draft training in Texas.

Clark was shocked by Neil's size, doving him a big dog at corner, but they clicked fast,

building friendship and teamwork on the spot.

With that juice flowing and rolls up for grabs come training camp in August, this duo looks

primed to shake up the secondary and bring the fire.
