Seahawks Seek RB Replacement, Achane Unlikely Trade

The Seattle Seahawks need a new starting running back after letting Kenneth Walker the

third walk in free agency.

Walker, the Super Bowl's 60 MVP, signed a multi-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs

worth more than $14 million per season.

Seahawks' General Manager John Schneider decided not to match that price.

Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins are in full rebuild mode, making them prime trade partners.

They've already released two Otago Viloa and Tyreek Hill, and just last week swapped

wide receiver Jalen Waddle to the Denver Broncos for draft picks.

Now rumors are swirling that explosive back Devana Chani could be next on the block.

Fans and analysts see Ashanay as a strong fit for Seattle's offense under Brian Flurry.

He excelled in Miami's wide zone scheme, similar to what Clint Kubiak ran successfully

for the Seahawks in 2025.

That style placed a Connie's speed and burst.

That said, a trade looks unlikely due to the steep cost.

Miami got a huge haul for Waddle, so they demand plenty for Akanay.

Like multiple draft picks, Seattle only has four selections in the 2026 draft and wants
