Seahawks Trade Down in NFL Draft

On April 21st, the Seattle Seahawks are sitting at the 32nd spot in Thursday's NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, their punishment for that super.

Bull win. With just four picks, the fewest in the league, their prime to trade back and stock up on more selections in a draft that's not packed with elite.

Talent. Earlier this week, General Manager John Schneider dropped no surprises at the pre-draft presser with head coach Mike McDonald.

He straight up said, pick 32 is gold because of that fifth year option for rookies, and yeah, they're definitely shopping it around to move.

Down. Fans and analysts aren't shocked. Seattle's history shows they love trading back.

Last time in the first round was 2019, swapping the 21st for later picks, and they haven't fully bailed on Round 1 since.
